Kara Heugly Counseling – Price

Working with Kara Heugly Counseling, and especially with Stella Gutierrez, has been a profoundly healing experience for me as a survivor. Stella holds space with such steadiness, compassion, and respect. She listens not… just with her ears, but with her heart. In moments when my story felt heavy, tangled, or hard to say out loud, she met me with patience and safety. She never rushed my healing or minimized my pain. Instead, she reminded me gently, consistently that my voice matters and my healing is my own. If you are a survivor looking for a therapist who truly understands trauma, resilience, and the courage it takes to keep showing up, I cannot recommend Stella enough. This office is a place where broken pieces are treated with care, dignity, and deep humanity.

10/10 wouldnt recomend. I loved my counselor but felt management was inadequate. Options are available in carbon/emery county that they dont acknowledge or give information on. Treatment Compass, from moab is the best!… Look into it if you're having issues with this office like I have.They work with payment options (unlike here) and sincerely look after my well being to succed (other than a pay check). The best thing to do is verify and know your rights. Mine were violated with denying records shared with another health care professional after a written request. Management denied paper work to file for records, was rude when I spoke with her, and wouldnt let me speak and hung up on me multiple times after her tirade; when I tried to communicate the problems I was dealing with. They cant withhold your records due to a payment. In the state of utah they have 30 days to comply with a written request for records.I absolutely will be filling a complaint with the state. Management portrays as a nice person, but isnt. She wasted tax payer money and time for at least 6 people I can acknowledge. Not worth the hassle, time or money. Again, Treatment compass.

I’ve been there probably 2-3 times for different court cases. The 3rd case going back there will make me never want to go there again. Since the last 2 times. They hired a receptionist who is quite frankly rude and… unprofessional. Very rude with every interaction I had with her. Horrible customer service/relations.

I had billing issues originally but I guess it was issues with my insurance. It's a good office but with the experience I had with the billing expectations I was left upset. They're otherwise a good therapy office and… you might have a different experience with different insurance. I was on UHC.

Kara and her staff are are great people and they have all been there for me. I appreciate the time and counseling I have spent with Kara
