About Helper Clinic – Helper

Helper Clinic operates from 125 South Main Street in Helper, close enough to Spring Glen and Kenilworth to serve both. Within around 12 miles that includes Carbonville, West Wood, Price and Wellington. Helper is in Carbon County, which shapes which public funding routes apply.

What is available here is intensive outpatient and outpatient care. SAMHSA holds the federal registration; the Utah Department of Health and Human Services the state license. Medication for opioid dependence is available here alongside talking treatment. Co-occurring conditions are handled concurrently rather than one after the other. Sessions can be held remotely where travel is difficult. The facility works with veterans and military families.

Helper Clinic – Helper Detox and Rehab Services

Treatment at Helper Clinic – Helper covers intensive outpatient and outpatient care. The structured element runs during the day and people go home afterwards. Whether medication is available is worth confirming at the outset. Ask what the assessment recommends before comparing anything else.

Both conditions are treated in parallel, which is what the research supports. Approved medication is paired with counseling and regular review. Ask whether family can be involved and at what stage. Establishing what happens after the program ends is worth doing early.

Uninsured rehab in Utah generally costs $1,540 to $4,900 for a week of medical detox, $2,500 to $9,000 a month for an intensive outpatient program and $1,200 to $5,000 a month for standard outpatient care. RehabSeekers could not find Helper Clinic – Helper’s own prices at the time of writing, and those amounts describe the state, not this facility.

A typical price takes in medical monitoring, the intake assessment, group therapy and individual counseling. Helper Clinic may bundle more than that or less. The only way to know is to call and ask what the quoted figure includes.

I like the staff. They are very friendly and helpful when you ask. They delivered to price which helps lot's when you can't drive! The drivers are always nice. I could transfer but I won't! I'm very happy with all the… employees! Love that home town pharmacy! You don't find places like this very often.

Dr. Joe Morrison is one of the best doctors. He is always willing to listen and help with trying to make sure that his patients are taken care of. Carbon Medical is very lucky to have had him all of these years. I am… very grateful to Joe. Would 100% recommend.

My husband sees Adam Callahan and as a PA he loves him, but the office itself is an actual joke. After a bad experience at Castleview urgent care we went in to see Adam for a second opinion. He ordered an xray because… of low oxygen and bad lung sounds. It was a Friday morning and told us they'd call with more info by noon. They never called and in fact lost his xray results with no call for a week. By this time we had already been home after a 3 day hospital stay due to acute respiratory failure and hypoxia. We went in for a 1 week checkup post hospital and he wasn't getting better, so they ordered another xray, wanted to look into changing prescriptions, and were supposed to send in a referral to Revere Pulmonology. Once again we never got a call on the xray and after 6 unanswered called and voicemails I called the appointment line instead to get someone to answer. Only to find the referral hadn't been sent. I am beyond frustrated with them and they need to be SO MUCH BETTER about communication and prioritizing care. We will likely be switching clinics after this experience.

They take great care of my and my family and do a great job working with my insurance company. Whenever I receive care with the Helper Clinic I always feel like they take the time to get to know me, and they make sure… to figure out all of the details to take care of my issues right away. I feel like they treat me like a person, and genuinely do care. Highly recommend!

I've had times that weren't the best. I got told they could only test my bood once a year. I have lupus, fibro, and thyroid problems. My blood needs to be tested in order to manage my chronic illnesses. That's how you… keep on top of those types of illnesses. The reason stated was supposedly my insurance would only pay for a blood test once a year. I know that's not true because at other providers I've seen, they've tested my blood when needed, and it's been covered. The reason why the issue came up was because they did not code the visit or reason for the blood test correctly. I've also run into getting my visits coded wrong and had them be completely different from the actual visit. That left me paying for something i didn't directly myself get treated for. This is a federally funded clinic. They have laws, rules, and strict regulations that need to be followed. This clinic doesn't just get grants from the government. It's run by the federal government. I have had issues with overly high bill and ran into them, even refusing to see me if i wasn't able to make a payment. Sometimes, they have even refused to see me if i couldn't make a payment larger than 50 dollars. I have medicaid. My visits are 100 percent paid for, and the last time i went, they literally made me make a payment and pay a 40 dollar co-pay that is literally non-existent. All i know is that these are not small issues. I do like most of the doctor's they have, but it's almost not worth it.

This place has the rudest receptionist I've ever encountered!!!!! She desperately needs a job that doesn't involve the welfare, communication, or customer service of any person, child, or animal! Then to be seen by PA… Man Bun was to much! He will tell you what your need and what is best for you without asking you a thing. .... No thank you. The only thing good is the cost of this care and service. East carbon clinic is nothing like this one.

Drs are great! Staff however, is rude. Mean to kids, very disrespectful. If they were more like the staff at the east Carbon clinic, it would be a lot better. I’d rather drive the extra miles to be treated better by… staff.
