Lifeways – Hillsdale

I ask what is would cost up front and still have no answer..I owe big time for what amounts to two consults.I will never deal with them again

If I could give this place 0 stars, I sure would. My daughter-in-law just left this place in tears. She was there for her first appointment. She has a couple of small facial tattoos and the VERY FIRST WORDS out of the… "therapist's" mouth was "ARE THOSE FACE TATTOOS?!" in an EXTREMELY rude, judgmental tone. At first my DIL was in shock thinking there is no way that was just said to her like that. The "therapist" then looked at my DIL like she was seeing something that turned her stomach. My DIL was immediately self-conscious, hurt, and embarrassed but did leave IMMEDIATELY.

I cannot say enough good things about this place and their amazing staff! Going there has been life changing because I want to change my life and be happier and healthier. I have the best case manager ever Tara! She has… been a Godsend and has helped me conquer goals and get things taken care of that I was having a hard time doing on my own. I also attended the Wellness Wednesday classes and I work out one on one with Pam every week. She is fabulous! She is so easy to talk to and friendly, and I just love her. I also see a therapist Tabitha and she is awesome as well. Even the ladies at the receptionist desk are amazing. Everyone is so kind and I am so happy that I found this place!

They'll either stick you with a doc, who is miserable, biding her time, and doesn't give a flying monkey about what has previously worked for you (including a couple decades of records), or they'll switch you to someone… who drops you under the pretense of "slow retirement," but who doesn't have the professional discipline, courtesy, or compassion to let you know.. You actually get to learn it when the receptionist is scheduling you for your next appointment. Their claim to help community health is a JOKE! Transferring to private providers and will NEVER go back!

I am terminally Ill. Just found out. The Hillsdale Hospital gave me there number. I called. A lady spoke to me and I poured my heart out. She was very kind. I was switched to the intake lady. Gave them my insurance and… info. Was told They do not take patients from Ohio or across state lines. She suggested I google for services in my area. Told me we were done. I complained to her as to why I had spent a half hour on the phone and revealed intimate personal info (was questioned) and was being medically dumped. She didn't answer but deflected my complaint and began ranting....I hung up. Al they wanted was my insurance (money) info. I am just a dollar sign to this corporation. They were heartless and I felt as if I had been predated on. Another scam. This is not a health care business. Hippocrates, your oath has been forgotten. I called back Hillsdale Hospital and they told me good luck, we have provided you treatment and a number as we do not provide in house mental health counseling, the dr asked me if i had a computer and knew how to google as He had complied with Michigan law. This is the HIllsdale Hospitals mental health care provider. They have no other. Both entities are corrupt and greedy. I hope you find peace in your search. You won't find it at this business. Carl

Therapists fail to follow up, and follow through with commitments, and referrals. All they care about is their money, not actual patient health and well being. So much for that oath. Pathetic & petulant.
