I’ve had many counselors. I absolutely love the feel of this clinic. I absolutely love my counselor. I’ve felt so much growth in myself. I highly recommend Middleton Counseling! 10/10

Very poor service, no contact information no return calls or emails no one knows what anyone else is doing, including councilor's. Complete disregard for people who need help. Not even a receptionist to ask a simple… question. Very unprofessional, they don’t even deserve one star. 0 is more like it.

Great counselors who really care about what they do🤍 the building is super clean and peaceful! 10/10 recommend

Justin has been helping me since last year. He has been continuing to help me with my struggles, opening my eyes to problems that I didn't realize that were there, and is a great role model. This man deserves a raise

I have struggled with leaving this review for about eight months or so (staff was aware), simply because there are some really great folks here… and some not so great. We started off seeing Matt & Petra and they were… amazing. I was sad they left so soon after beginning sessions with them. Peggy is wonderful. My daughter adored her, but we stopped seeing her because it was her opinion that my daughter no longer needed services, after just telling me that she is/would be here to support me through this. [I believe she also stated she was moving to different area of service]. She was our absolute favorite & my daughter still speaks of her. Cynthia was ok. One comment she made to me still echos in my head from time to time. She asked me, “do you think it’s the idea of loosing another, rather than actually loosing them?” Absolutely not. Like who thinks that way, let alone says it? I’ve suffered a great deal of trauma, having lost my family consisting of fifteen members, my two dearest friends, and my best friend while I was attending. I believe she means well tho. Melanie…. She’s just an absolutely AWFUL human! She is the rudest individual I’ve EVER encountered out of the gate. I felt attacked upon walking through the door with my daughter, who is special needs who told me, ”she was scared of that lady.” How frightening for a child! This woman literally shut the door in my face and was extremely rude in her words & actions. My daughter apologized to me for Melanie’s behavior! My CHILD apologized for this ADULT! This is NOT ok! Needless to say, I turned right around, opened that door and removed my child & we left. Rachel seemed to be a good person at first, but she just wasn’t the right fit for my daughter and it’s obvious she took offense to that. After about seven weeks or so, I inquired to switch counselors from Rachel simply because I felt my daughter might be better placed with someone with more experience. Nothing against Rachel. I just wanted the best fit for my daughter. That’s when things took a turn for the worse. Now I will mention what transpired in our sessions with Rachel, for the sake of foundation; 1. She would often say she had to check with her supervisor for the answer(s), but would never get back to me. Again, my goal is to help my child. 2. I offered to leave the room so her and my daughter could do a one-on-one for part of the session and her response was, “next week.” 3. I asked to respond to her question about my child privately, rather than in front of her and she’d say,”ok, before the hour is up,” but didn’t follow through. Why ask questions about her week then? 4. She made promises to do things with my daughter, but broke them four weeks in a row. My daughter looked forward to this, only to be let down over & over. My daughter felt most comfortable with me in the room & so to try and be helpful & considerate, I started bringing a book & would appear to be reading, so my child would focus on her session & not me. Keep in mind there is a huge language barrier with my daughter, who is fairly non-verbal/difficult to understand. She also has an extreme level of anxiety. Anyhow. I believe Rachel was behind the treatment we received from Melanie. This is what I believe, and shame on Melanie! Shame on both of them! If I’m wrong about Rachel, I apologize, but I don’t believe I am. I don’t see any other reason behind the treatment we received from someone we’d never met before. How awful to be treated so harshly from a place you go to - to seek guidance for your child! A place attended to seek help with trauma! And place that should be of source of refuge & peace. Disgusting! Melanie, you should be ashamed of yourself! I didn’t deserve that, and my daughter certainly didn’t deserve to witness such hostility! And here I was told that this was a “Christian” based environment… sad. (Also Melanie’s background according to her ‘about me’ info). Jesus is love. Note: I even requested that the owner, Kim, call me to discuss this when it took place, but I never heard from him. D.S.

Horrible.....very, and I mean very disappointed in this company.

Melanie Pilot is AMAZING! I’ve been to so many counselors and I finally found the one. Everything she has taught me is amazing. I feel like such a better person. She’s not like any regular counselor you just go and talk… about your problems and put a Band-Aid over it. She actually guides you to try to have a better life. Thank you so much Melanie! You don’t know how much I appreciate you.

The counseling I’ve received from the members of Middleton Counseling, has been quite superb. Very informative, empathetic, and realistic with their approach.

Rachel has been amazing. My daughter really connected with her and she has helped her so much. I also love the location it’s so relaxing that I usually take my little one outside while my daughter has her session.

I have 4 children seeking guidance through Middleton counseling.. we use two of there amazing counselors. My children get excited about their weekly visits. This is a very comfortable facility. Everyone involved are so… caring and respectful! We look forward to the future through Middleton counseling

Becky is the only counselor that has ever helped me and I have seen many over the years! She has changed my life and I'm so grateful to finally have a counselor that is educated and experienced!

Matt is a wonderful counselor. I've never done couceling but he is winning me over. He's been a big help.

Kim is amazing. He listened to me and helped me to understand myself better. I was lost of where to go and what to do. He gave me the power to find out answers to my questions. He knows the behaviors of others and… guided me on how to be strong with those individuals. He is bold, yet tender in his counseling. I am so blessed and grateful for his help. I have relied on Kim as my counselor for several years. I’ve been to all sort of counselors and they all sit there and listen to your problems. Not Kim. He listens and then helps you learn and do the work. He doesn’t… just listen he teaches you and helps you to do the work necessary for healing. Kim has changed my life and I will forever be grateful for his knowledge, kindness, expertise and encouraging support. My life is better because of my counseling experience with Kim.

Kim has been an amazing counselor for me! He is understanding and truly cares for people, not just his clients. I recommend him highly!
