NCBH all the lady's I've talk to on the phone have been so helpful... I can't say enough good about them. I live out of the county but had to call several times to get the help my county refused to give me. I could not… get any answers and the flat refused to help me in Yuba County. But Nevada County helped me so much. Thank you!!!

Got rejected because I “wasn’t severe enough” at first, and now I’ve been accepted in a second or third round of trying, I’m stuck with a doctor that is extremely conservative with meds to the point I’m having panic… attacks and dissociation from severe anxiety. Thought I wasn’t severe enough for treatment, now I’m not severe enough for proper medication.

Helpful with appointments. Finding medication is hard I have had some bad reactions but we will eventually figure it out.

My son ask for help for the first time. They were so caring and supportive and followed up and got him in. He was in a list but they got him help when a bed was available. Thank you so much and God bless you all! Ann… Haskin

I called to ask a question with regards to a patient of mine who is struggling with mental health issues. I needed some guidance. The receptionist promptly directed me to a counselor within the office who gave me… excellent direction with the kindest most compassionate attitude. I am very impressed.

Not a safe place. They have no responsibility or accountability for the destructive advice they give and encourage. But they will recommend therapy to recover from taking their advice which destroyed you. But the… therapy they suggest won't be available either. So they just say good luck and leave you to suffer. Doesn't really matter if you live or die because they can't be held responsible and don't care. If they can't fix you with their little program and there is no ego gratification for them they will do much harm. Not a safe place

Impersonal beyond belief. They wouldn't give me the help I need because apparently "my case wasn't severe enough". Nice to know I have to wait several months to get the help I need.

I find these doctors and therapist superior to the ones I had out there in the private sector, and I have a choice as to where to go. Nevada County Behavioral health gets my five stars for good reason.
