NUWAY I – Minneapolis Detox and Rehab Services

Care at NUWAY I – Minneapolis spans residential treatment and sober living. Ask whether family can be involved and at what stage. Establishing what happens after the program ends is worth doing early. Ask how the program handles someone who has been through treatment before.

The record shows integrated treatment rather than one problem then the other. Supported housing is available for people continuing treatment after a more intensive stage. Approved medication is paired with counseling and regular review. Confirm what a program covers before committing to it.

A treatment facility that has the capability to get it done i think, and as of this posting the sober support of staff who help with damn near everything from day-to-day chats to a whole conversation in the middle of… the night due to insomnia. Kudo's to George and Leo for being great pets. With love, and, former client.

I been to a few treatment centers and nuway was hands down the best one I been to they help you step by step with your recovery polite staff that are willing to sit and work with you on what works for you I would… recommend this place to anyone

This place has everything you need to stay sober. Sure, people will say this and that about every treatment center but this medium intensity is right in the heart of South Mpls and close to all the good meetings and… resources one needs to succeed. The food is amazing, they have a newer chef who got their cooking certificate online and they are still working to adjust to the menu, but today was the most amazing meal ever. I almost walked out over the "Roast Beef" yesterday but they made up for it today so now the only beef i have is with relapse and 2 of my ex plugs. This place brought me from 1800 chicago detox and right back on my feet so im overjoyed they had immidiate availability. Thank you Nuway, im not a nodded out zombie anymore, im taking a Nuway straight to my Recovery. Not a paid endorsement, actual client testimony. Nuway! Nuway! RaRARA!! Nuway! Nuway! Efff Relapppsseeee!!!!

I have personal concerns about the professionalism of Heather B, who works here. Public social media content associated with this individual appears to make light of serious injuries involving federal workers. In my… opinion, this raises questions about judgment and professionalism, particularly given the compassion, discretion, and sensitivity expected when working with individuals in recovery.

I've been through this program 3 times, it's better than homelessness, but far from recovery. In light of all the fraud this company is guilty of ought to result in a complete overhaul. Fire all guilty employees who… profited excessively all these years 2020-present. Build a new organization that is managed properly. The issue is no one wants to do this work. It's ugly, nasty, and rarely does anyone show appreciation. The truth is addicts simply need the tools to get sober; they already know how psychologically demanding it is. Invest in housing #1 and a case management requirement for patients to remain sober, and drug tested, and routine medical appointments every 6 months minimum in the early phase

This place is an insurance scam. I’m surprised that this particular treatment facility hasn’t been shut down. Recently, I was here for a 30 day program which I actually stayed for over 30 days—this is also something… that wasn’t verbalized to me when I first started. I followed all of the rules regarding returning before curfew with my day passes and other ridiculous rules that were set in place to degrade adult men. I was supposed to graduate a week ago. However, the day before I was supposed to graduate, I was discharged by one of the staff for missing a class in which I was never informed about until after I returned to the treatment center after being away on my day pass. Not one staff member said anything to me about having to attend any evening class. I was only told that the evening class was mandatory for clients who are there for the first 7 days. All of my efforts to speak to management about this matter were completely disregarded. Now, I am seeking to file a grievance against this place. I shouldn’t have to start a 30 day program all over due Nuway’s staff failing to do their job. I was always picked on by one staff in particular over minor things like having candy or being accused of having a phone out that was “supposedly” seen on camera, but when I asked to see the camera, staff refused to show camera footage. I was also falsely accused of doing a drug transaction just for asking someone for a cigarette which is not an illegal substance—it is tobacco. I did not deserve the treatment that I received from this place. Please avoid wasting your time and insurance by going here—especially if you’re court ordered. It is very likely that certain staff will delay you from graduating or graduating at all and it’s all for collecting your insurance and opening up beds for more clients just to do the same thing. The staff person that I mentioned earlier in this post has received numerous complaints and never was given any disciplinary action. I am currently seeking to file a grievance against this place as I will not stand for my time and efforts being wasted. Stay away from this place at all cost!!

This place saved my life twice. I hate seeing all the negative. Techs and counselors were amazing. We were blessed by the gods to be right in front of 2218 Alano club.. I made it 7 yrs the last round and unfortunately… life happened and the disease hit me again I'm hoping to get back in! To a new and better life! Thank you to Tony and Raquel too.. they were big inspirations in my sobriety!! Very caring!! Very very Caring!

Rules are very strict and unrealistic. And punishment for not abiding is restrictive. Staff leaves room unlocked when doing rounds creating vulnerability. Not a very secure environment.

Horrible treatment center and halfway house. I live a half a block from here. Constantly have people relapsing from that place and they park their butts on my front stoop or my back deck to get high. The cops are there… constantly. They are horrible neighbors. The amount of Riff Raff in my neighborhood from that place is disgusting. I've been in recovery for a while now. If you want to get clean and sober run far away from this place. I'm going to push it as far as I can to get this place shut down.

I have been there 3 times in the past 10 years and have nothing but great things to say about Nuway , the great staff, and outpatient programs. Unlike most other facility's, Nuway and their treatment team communicate… very well and professionally, I feel they actually care. Nuway assisted in helping with getting me set up with a great medical provider, as well as and assisting with setting up aftercare and IOP covered rent at an excellent sober while in outpatient program. If one wants to truly turn their life around, Nuway has all the tools

If you want to sell your soul to a godless, Leftist corporation that has nothing even approaching an addict's best interest in mind, let alone their recovery, then go to nuway. The name alone should send up a red flag,… "...for there is nothing new under the sun." (Eccl. 1:9) I was discharged for having allegedly vaped in one of their bathrooms. I can't make this up. When a treatment center's smoking etiquette policy takes precedent over a man's recovery there's a problem...and it's not on my end. Avoid this one, and especially it's program coordinator, like the plague.

It's great if you like having your belongings and medications stolen, while they accuse one of relapse knowing full well I was 100% clean.. No honor among thieves accurately describes all but one, possibly 2 employees… there other than the cooks..
