Pecan valley is amazing the work they do is awesome, but Cindy the receptionist is SO unbelievably rude. Everytime I call I am extremely kind and respectful, and time and time again she is so disrespectful. Not nice!!… Especially because most of the people calling are dealing with mental health issues.
I am so upset with this company that I can hardly type. I recently moved here and needed someone to take over my psychiatric care and mainly my prescriptions. I reached out and explained my needs to the initial… representative who assured me that this organization would provide what I needed. During the first appointment, I was disappointed to learn that it was simply an intake interview. At this point, I was dangerously low on my medication and was told that they would not be able to prescribe anything until my next appointment two weeks later. I spaced my medication out and received a three day loan from my pharmacy. Finally the day came for my appointment and halfway through the interview with my case worker I was informed that I would not be prescribed anything during this visit and appointments with prescribers were at least ANOTHER two weeks out. Plus, due to recent events in my life I was looking forward to the counseling that was specifically offered to me. Today I was told that the waiting list is a mile long so I'd be better off seeking counseling elsewhere. Their actions and misinformation is a huge detriment to my mental health. To think that they could view their patient's mental health as something to be toyed with is absolutely disgusting. I have no way of receiving any more medication until I find a new provider and in the mean time I will have to deal with the horrendous withdrawal effects. Not to mention that this means EVEN MORE time I have to miss from work. Truly the worst experience that I've ever had with a mental health care facility. Stay far away from these liars.
Absolutely terrible process wayyyyyy too long and as a teen you can barely get any help for mental health. Will never go back here again.

Share your personal recovery and lived experience with your peers, have fun… meet new friends, learning and sharing at the same time. We understand what other people in our lives can't. We do not do it alone, we do it together. Call and ask for Peer Support. You can plan a visit, ask questions and check it out. Recovery is possible.
