About Preventive Measures – Washington (702 15th Street NE)

Preventive Measures operates from 702 15th Street NE in Washington. The site sits in District of Columbia County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. The practical catchment runs wider than the city limits, taking in people who travel in rather than finding care on their doorstep.

Outpatient care is delivered here. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves. Care offered spans more than one level, which means someone can move between them without changing provider.

Treatment Services at Preventive Measures

Outpatient care runs to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Ask what happens at the end of the program as well as the beginning, since that is where plans usually thin out. Assessment decides the level of care, so ask what that involves and how quickly it can happen. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Preventive Measures Address, Location and Contact Information

The address is 702 15th Street NE, Washington, DC 20002, in District of Columbia County. Confirm what a program covers before traveling in, since the level of care listed is not always the level with capacity. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Ask what a first appointment involves and how long the current wait runs before making the trip. Opening hours shift with staffing, and an evening slot one month may not exist the next. Waiting times vary with capacity, so call ahead rather than arriving unannounced.

How Much Does Treatment at Preventive Measures Cost?

Treatment at Preventive Measures typically costs $1,500 to $5,500 a month for standard outpatient. These are the District of Columbia market ranges rather than this facility’s own published figures. Published ranges move with length of stay, so treat them as a starting point for budgeting rather than a quote.

This site accepts Medicaid. Ask whether the quoted figure includes assessment, medication and aftercare, since those are often billed separately. What you pay turns on cover and length of stay rather than the headline range. Contact the facility for an assessment and an accurate figure before committing to anything.

No, comments just one of the worst places I have visited except for a few workers and a doctor that I have met there. Some of the female staff at the front desk are the most rude and unprofessional I have ever seen . I… don't share much when negative is concerned because your opinion do carry weight. I am to prevent those who truly need help not to be victimized but get the help they truly need to go else where. After my visit there I realized I don't need it, ok with out it and will not go back for certain services. I met some wonderful people there with heartfelt stories to tell and as a advocate of some things in my community it touches my heart .I wish and pray and will work for these people to get what they need and safer out lets to share their stories and journeys. I pray for the workers here as well who are changing lives and making a difference in the lives of their clients.

It’s A Hit Or Miss On Thursdays Getting A ID.. The Case Workers Help U Get On Mental Health Medicine But Won’t Get You The Help You Need When U Need It.. My Case Worker Is Trash, Been Assigned With Him For Two Months,… Havent Gotten My ID, Havent Talked To Anybody About A Job Or Resources For Self Betterment.. They Need To Close This Program Down And Restart With Respectful Ppl Who REALLY Care About Getting Your Life Back Together… Remember, Two Months With These People And I’ve Yet To Receive An ID In Which I Was Told I’d Get Help With…

Had a very bad experience with them , was contacted by a Ms.Winnie the community support worker to come in and do my intake. Cool came, very unprofessional when I first walked in the staff was rude besides the security… they greeted me front desk people did not. Waited a hour to get called back for intake , while I'm waiting other people are yelling , screaming , this one lady tried to touch on me I got up until my name was called. Got back didn't even tell me his name but while I'm doing my input regarding you know and personal information HIPPA . Yeah other staff members kept coming in one even was like "oh I'm just coming in here so you can put your name down for the Christmas party" . I got up and excused myself because that was the last straw for me and I left, will be choosing another company. Would not recommend. TERRIBLE customer service just terrible. And the place looked filthy .

called in and while i was speaking to the receptionist was entertaining her conversation with her co-worker and did not pay attention to what i was saying. Then she hung up on me when she said that the doctor was in a… meeting. Did not let me ask any questions about following up or anything in that nature

My experience here so far has not been too helpful. Never cant meet with my “caseworker” . For the employees , they are so nonchalant with everything, rude and doesnt seem to really care about helping… I am honestly… hesitant to go into the building at times, NOT because of the people but the EMPLOYEE that I spoke with that day just pulled his phone out and tried to take a picture of me (without consent) and asked me what I would do for $500 dollars… having a dinner and a date to see where it goes… sir excuse me?? I think a check in is needed by higher management. Was hoping to see my caseworker today but as expected they’re not here .

This place only works for clients that they could help. Meaning they don't have the answers to the most needed mental health situations like therapy or relocating to another housing location (not necessarily finding a… place to stay bcuz I have always had mines). I was not allowed to be in groups bcuz I was not addicted to drugs or alcohol but addicted to getting high off of the site of my own blood. An addiction is an addiction if the group was called "The Addiction Group"?

I'm writing this as a neighbor - this place is NOT very neighborly. They allow their patients to leave trash outside their building and then don't pick it up. Their employees park in the neighborhood which is zoned… parking and prevents regular residents to park near their homes who have paid for a zoned parking permit. They also allow their employees to park on the sidewalk next to their building ... if you were in a wheelchair you would need to cross the street to move down the sidewalk.

I brought my lady friend Denise Howard to Amazing Love Health services about a month and a half ago I made my observation of the staff first. They handle the people that come in very professional and with gentle nice… attitudes although some of the people come in with nasty attitudes the staff handles them in a professional way they do not feed into their madness the security guards also know how to handle those with bad attitudes and do not allow those who come in the program to feel threatened they know how to ask them to leave or call the police to get peace in the building they serve the people also to very well. The instructors take time to give the people the right tools to help themselves also they care about them and that is very rare in other programs They don't look at the condition of the people they do everything within their power to teach them My friend Denise Howard have grown a lot since she has been in her instructor' s class I don't know his name but he should be rewarded for the time and patience he puts into those he have to instruct and It is not an easy job but he never let their attitudes or problem get him down. Also those young ladies working on the desk that tends to the people's need do great they do not allow how the people act discourage them from doing their job it is beautiful to see how they interact with the people I needed to put this compliment out to those who do not know it is a good program
