Recovery Network of Programs Inc – Stratford Detox and Rehab Services

Recovery Network of Programs Inc – Stratford delivers intensive outpatient and outpatient care. The structured element runs during the day and people go home afterwards. What suits one person will not suit another, so ask directly. It is reasonable to ask how progress is reviewed and by whom.

Both conditions are treated in parallel, which is what the research supports. Medication-assisted treatment combines approved medication with counseling and clinical review. Ask how the program handles someone who has been through treatment before. Whether medication is available is worth confirming at the outset.

Extremely polite nursing staff...My counselor is the best. She takes good care of me and I could have told her something 6 months ago and she remembers it like it was yesterday... Thank you to the entire Staff & nursing… ...

This place puts money over your health and if you don’t have money and you’re doing good, they will easily take you down and kick you out because you don’t have the money this place is the most horrendous place I have… ever been to.

I feel angry and frustrated a lot that they don’t have a lot of medical knowledge or resources to help you come off of it. You hear a lot of “I’m not sure”. Even when I have met with doctors here at the clinic they… don’t seem to be able to give much information or advice for outside doctors that specialize in managing withdrawal symptoms. I am on 10 mg and every time I go down one mg now it is pretty difficult because while the amount I reduce is the same the amount I am on is much lower so it feels like a lot more than 1mg … anyhow they should know more. They also didn’t at all prepare me for what this would be like. going on methadone is a MASSIVE undertaking. I hadn’t been using more than 8 months and would have likely done fine simply detoxing and having my symptoms managed in a facility for a week or so, instead I’ve been on this crap for 7 years and lost most of my beautiful teeth. Also you all need Jesus Christ that’s the only way you can succeed at this or anything else.

Counselors come and go all the time some of them have a sincere interest in helping while others just collect a paycheck. If you pay cash the have in interest in making sure you get better asap. If you have insurance,… that make sure you stick around awhile.

Counselors never check in or get back to patients. They pick and chose what rules to enforce and I’ve had multiple issues with security guards getting my number and using it to call and harress me at home. I also know… someone who was also harressed by one of them.

Went here a few years ago and it's one of the best clinics in the state a lot of people come down from Waterbury because they do not test for marijuana where the clinic in Waterbury does but I believe they lost a lot of… business now that the Ansonio clinic i's open but only because it's closer for a lot of people in The Valley But the counselors are great the services great the nurses are wonderful and I highly recommend this clinic if you are looking to change your life and get clean

Very, very kind people who want to help. This program, and the wonderful people I have met who work here now and in the past, are the reason I am still alive. If you need help, this is the place to call.
