About Seasons Center for Behavioral Health – Sheldon

Seasons Center for Behavioral Health operates from 118 North 2nd Avenue in Sheldon. The site sits in Obrien County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include Sioux Center. Iowa draws people across long distances for treatment, so travel time is worth weighing against waiting time.

Outpatient care is delivered here, alongside medication-assisted treatment, telehealth appointments and care for co-occurring mental health conditions. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves.

Treatment Services at Seasons Center for Behavioral Health

Outpatient care runs to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Buprenorphine is available and paired with counseling rather than prescribed alone. Trauma-specific services run alongside, which matters where the two are tangled together. Co-occurring mental health conditions are treated in the same building rather than split across providers. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

The address is 118 North 2nd Avenue, Sheldon, IA 51201, in Obrien County. The catchment reaches Sioux Center. Confirm what a program covers before traveling in, since the level of care listed is not always the level with capacity. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

This review is going for the advocate who’s been very helpful to me in the past few weeks! Her name is Alicia Beltman. She deserves nothing but a big raise! She does so much more for her clients than any one else who… works there realizes! When I was staying in a motel, she was checking on me daily making sure I was okay. She has provided me resources. She helped me fill out applications for housing programs and applications to get into my home. She does a lot more than she’s required to do. This woman deserves a raise and a promotion. She actually cares about her job and clients. If you are ever homeless and need to get back on your feet, I’d recommend talking to Alicia!! Thank you for everything you did Alicia!
