About Sequoyah Adolescent Treatment Center – Albuquerque
Sequoyah Adolescent Treatment Center operates in Albuquerque. The site sits in Bernalillo County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include Edith Enclave, Los Ranchos de Albuquerque and North Valley. New Mexico draws people across long distances for treatment, so travel time is worth weighing against waiting time.
Residential treatment is delivered here. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves. Care offered spans more than one level, which means someone can move between them without changing provider.

Treatment Services at Sequoyah Adolescent Treatment Center
Residential treatment runs to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.
Trauma-specific services run alongside, which matters where the two are tangled together. Ask what happens at the end of the program as well as the beginning, since that is where plans usually thin out. Waiting times move with capacity, and what was true last month may not hold this week.

Sequoyah Adolescent Treatment Center Address, Location and Contact Information
The service is based in Albuquerque, NM 87107, in Bernalillo County. The catchment reaches Edith Enclave, Los Ranchos de Albuquerque and North Valley. Confirm what a program covers before traveling in, since the level of care listed is not always the level with capacity.
Ask what a first appointment involves and how long the current wait runs before making the trip. Opening hours shift with staffing, and an evening slot one month may not exist the next. Waiting times vary with capacity, so call ahead rather than arriving unannounced.

I came here when I was 14 and it was a life changer like I got the rehab part and I got the anger management part too and it has so many more perks
My grandson is in here. It took him a bit to adjust. He's been in here for a bit he doesn't like being locked up. But he's been to a few other places before he got here. But this place is way better than the other… facilities he's been in. Who is going to like being locked up the question is are you going to learn from it or keep on doing the same thing. Break the rules you come to a place like this one or you go to a juvenile detention center. This place is like a retreat by comparison. They let your parents bring you healthy foods snacks games books you don't get those in other facilities. Especially in juvenile detention nothing goes in.
I was here in 1998-1999 in B.. I was the one that ran out the van on a late night drive. Probably the reason why there ain't handles in the inside of the vans.. It was cool here they feed you good back then I don't know… now though.. I was there for six months maybe longer. If you want the help they will help you... If any of the old staff are there what's up to you all...... Jeri she was cool and her husband. Natalie with her big muscle head bf what's up guys .
Worst place to let your child go or treatment stuff is so unfair need better staff
As a former patient I what it looks like there and honestly it's kinda ghetto I had to wash myself is cold water and every week in the shower I used there was always insects there this place is overlooked and needs to… have a surprise inspection
I’m so glad I finally found a treatment center for my son. The counselor he had and the medications they put him on have been very beneficial.
