I've only gone here for optometry and that department has been every bit as professional as any civilian facility I've ever gone to.
Great
My experience here has always been positive, the staff here has always been kind and respectful, also I use the chiropractor, the physical therapy, and I have had my annual here for many years and while I have had a few… different doctors my health care has always been consistent
Busy place such.nice folks
Great staff that cares about every patient.
My first doctor here could not see to read and had to have a nurse do everything for him. He wanted to take away all of my medications when I moved here because he did not believe in it. My next appointments he was on… his way out and only talked about politics and how much he didn't care for the current administration trying to lure me in to a very unprofessional conversation and we hardly talked about me and the issues at hand. That was my introduction to here and it's been downhill ever since. I'll change my raiting if this place actually starts to help me but I'm learning nobody really cares. (Not all are bad, some really do care) I just feel like another number at a barbershop here.
Awesome friendly staff and doctors!
The VA has been awesome minus, red tape and third parties that are out of their control. They are fantastic. The staff has been wonderful, kind, and explain things well. The multiple doctors we've encountered have been… so compassionate. We truly appreciate their service to veterans.
Great staff, and if I could give a 10 star review I would!
Wrong Google entrance location, it has moved to the south side of building.
My husband will receive his Covid-19 booster shot at the Rapids VA next week! And I can get my booster too!! We love the VA.
Due to pandemic they have lost amazing doctors and have replaced with floating non VA ones that have no idea what they are doing. They are taking medications away with no valid reason and not keeping track of the… veterans progress or having any alternative treatment plans. Concerns of any possible life threatening alignments are not being taken care of ; i.e speciality care referrals etc. Monthly prescriptions are also being put in late causing even more medical stress on vets. Due to a lot of people being and feeling helpless with the lack of care, I am writing this knowing nothing will be fixed , but want to let others know they are not alone in this type of uncalled for treatment.
Contrary to another opinion expressed, I did not have to show up before the doors opened for my appointment. Perhaps they corrected that. I found the staff to be friendly, courteous and professional. My wife and I… received our Covid 19 vaccinations last week. The appointments were scheduled for 0800 and 0815. We were home by 0833. In that brief span of time, the staff gave seven other vets that vaccination. The operation ran smooth as silk. The only downside to this clinic that I have observed is that, for the time being, walk-in urgent care is being farmed out to the local hospital.
They require you to show up thirty minutes before your 0800 appointment time even though the doors are locked until 0745hrs.
Very nice staff and convenient location. Needs more provider to decrease length of wait to get an appointment.
Great people but limited services, delays in service, need more staff.
Went in for a possible uti on Thursday morning and didn't get my results back until Monday. The nurse acted shocked that i expected a callback sooner. Urinalysis staff was unprofessional as well. When I put my sample… into the designated area, I had to move other people samples in order to fit mine. These samples have your name, birth date and ssn on them. I informed the staff and they laughed it off saying "they will take care of it". I am a veteran of both the Iraq and Afghanistan wars and I'm very dissatisfied with the quality of care I received at the Wisconsin rapids VA.
