Tomball of CBOC – Tomball Detox and Rehab Services
Recorded services at Tomball of CBOC – Tomball are detox, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Medical supervision covers the withdrawal period, where alcohol and benzodiazepines carry real risk. The structured element runs during the day and people go home afterwards. The right level of care is a clinical judgement rather than a preference, and an assessment should produce a defined answer.
The record does not show integrated provision, so confirm this if it matters. Medication and talking treatment run together under clinical oversight. The weekly time commitment varies considerably between providers, so establish it early rather than after admission.

This place is trash
For the VA, I think they do a good job
Excellent facility with a great staff that offers exceptional care.
Relocated from TN and my first visit for lab work was seamless. Staff was polite, professional and fast. In and out in 15 mins
Hopefully its due to the Trump Administration but this clinic is dysfunctional. DV wait indefinitely long lines for extreme amounts of time while 8 person at desk do whatever to include be on their cell phone. Wait… times to be seen extreme. Appointments canceled often.
Bring back the check-in kiosk! Bring back the check-in kiosk! Do we hear this VA? This place is atrocious when trying to check into your appointment up front. It takes forever and the line gets backed up. One of the… nurses said you can check into your appt in the VA app, but I don’t see that option or I would. Either hire more folks to check Veteran’s in or bring back the check-in kiosks. The latter will do just fine. I don’t understand why ya’ll took these kiosks away, it made no sense to. I used to be a fan of this location but it seems they just keep going downhill. Even a handful of the employees state they don’t understand why the kiosks were removed and that bringing them up falls on deaf ears.
Never answer the phone! Absolutely ridiculous! Needs to be investigated
Absolutely atrocious staff answering the phone...IF they answer the phone that is. Waited an hour and fifteen minutes only to be hung up on. But this is typical of the staff there. It happens time and time again. It's a… wonder any of them are still employed to be honest. The ladies who answer the phones are rude and stare at you like you're ruining their day every time you walk in to the clinic. They do no care even a little bit about the Veterans coming in there for care. Worst facility EVER!
Good response for helping you in an emergency!
I'm here all the time. I love this place. They're quick. They listen. They help you out as best they can. It's easy to make an appointment. It's not always quick to get the appointment you need if you need to see a… specialist but it's still better than going downtown with thousands of people. If I do need to see a specialist they send me downtown but I don't have to wait around. I get an appointment made so when I show up I only got to wait a short amount of time
Horrible service
I’m writing this review as a veteran to share my personal experience so others can make informed decisions about their care. During my visits, I felt like my concerns were not fully heard. There were multiple moments… where I was speaking and got interrupted or talked over, which made it difficult to clearly explain what I was dealing with. As a patient, especially as a veteran, you expect to feel listened to and respected. I also left with the impression that my individual needs were not being fully considered. The interactions felt rushed, and I didn’t feel a strong sense of care or attention to detail during my appointments. I understand that clinics can be busy and staff may be under pressure, but communication and respect go a long way in healthcare. Veterans deserve to feel heard, understood, and supported when they come in for care. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve the experience for future veterans.💚
Fast in and out .. very polite..!
Been on hold waiting for them to even pick up for 28 mins and still waiting for anyone to pick up their phones.
Great clinic and staff I gave it only 4 cause my PCP didn't want to fill my form for employment purposes
Its the VA. WE ALL KNOW hurry up and wait. It applies here as well.
Never answer the phone. Answer then say hold before you can even say hello . Have you sitting on hold for hours. Worst clinic
Amazing VA clinic, very fast and reliable service. This VA actually cares about you. Wonderful staff and service. Probably saved my life when I was going through “SI” my phycologist at the time would take me into hiss… office and just drop everything for me. Sometimes that’s all it takes someone to listen to you for 15 mins. there’re doing to be there for you but don’t expect them to call an ambulance. They will definitely sit and talk with you and make sure you’re good! 🤝😇
The people here are so lazy they can't even answer the phone. Good luck, you'll be on hold for at least 30 minutes.
Saturday March 14 I had to go to the emergency room, I ripped the inner bicep tendon off the bone, which requires surgery. New to the VA system I spent Monday calling when they finally placed me through to the Tomball… VA who told me they were full and not accepting patients. I then had to call the Conroe VA which informed me that Tomball would need to put me into “community care” and should have suggested this when I spoke with them. I then tried to call the Tomball VA back three times and after being on hold they just hung up on me. So I drove to Tomball VA where I spoke with Melodie who stated she would put the forms in “before she left”, it is now Friday and I called community care who had no forms on me at all. Went back to Tomball spoke with Melodie again who brought out another lady who then stated she put the forms in to their director, which should have happened the previous Monday. The other lady let me know that after the director sees it and approves community care then has 14 days. And she was sorry, they have zero reguard for former service members and allow these “forms” to sit on desks until there’s a complaint. I again being new to the system don’t know where to go from here, I’m in pain and this affects my job, no one will help, I am going to head to the main VA in Houston Monday and not only try to be seen but also talk to an advocate about tomball, and anyone else I can weather it be my congressman, lawyer, news, whoever. If there was a way to rate them negative stars I would, I understand that my pain or needs for surgery don’t concern them at all, however being in the medical field you would think they would have more regard. It’s very unfortunate and I hope to have a solution soon. I also have my call logs and narrative of this situation as I’ve heard bad things about Tomball VA clinic.
My husband and our child died from complications arising from exposure to Agent Orange in Vietnam. Every Veteran, especially combat veterans have paid with their service to our country. Your health benefits are not free… you have paid in advance with your blood, sweat and tears. I sincerely thank you for your service.
