Rehabs That Take ACPN

ACPN is an abbreviation listed by treatment centers in Arizona for a health plan or provider network. Coverage for drug and alcohol treatment can apply, depending on plan and level of care.Arizona centers on this page name ACPN on their websites. When a network name appears instead of an insurer, the company that pays claims may be different, and it is usually the one printed on your member card. Before admission, call the facility and that company to check your benefits, whether the center is in network, any prior authorization or referral requirements, and your likely out-of-pocket costs for detox, residential or outpatient care.

Why Trust RehabSeekers.com?

RehabSeekers is an independent behavioral health directory covering drug and alcohol addiction and mental health treatment providers.

Every listing has a source: an official register, a licensing record, or details the facility sent us.

Credentials shown honestly. Accreditation, licensing and registration listed separately.

Reviews shown exactly as written. Never edited, never removed because a facility asked.

No commission, no referral fees. Nothing a facility pays for changes where it appears.

Contact details always go direct. Calls reach the facility itself, never a call centre.

Common questions

Answered from what is listed here.

What is ACPN?

ACPN stands for America's Choice Provider Network, an independent national PPO-style provider network founded in 2012. It contracts directly with hospitals, facilities and clinicians, then rents that network to payers: insurance carriers, third-party administrators, health and welfare funds, self-administered employer groups, student plans and travel plans. It is not an insurance company.

Because ACPN only sets contracted rates, the company that actually pays your claim is the payer printed on your member ID card.

Private Insurance Acceptedhttps://rehabseekers.com/insurance-accepted/private-insurance-accepted/
Is ACPN an insurance company?

No. ACPN describes itself as a provider network, not an insurer and not a discount card program. Its clients are the payers: carriers, third-party administrators, health and welfare funds, employer groups, student plans and travel plans. Those payers decide what is covered and what you pay.

Call the payer named on your ID card for eligibility and benefits. ACPN's toll free number, 855-300-8664, is a general and provider line rather than a member benefits line.

Does ACPN cover rehab?

ACPN does not make coverage decisions, because it is a network rather than an insurer. Addiction treatment is covered when your own health plan covers it, and that plan sets the rules. ACPN contracts providers under specialties including Addiction Medicine, Addiction Psychiatry, Addictive Disease and Chemical Dependency.

Ask the payer named on your member card about detox, residential, PHP and outpatient benefits before admission, including any limit on length of stay.

ACPN, America’s Choice Provider Network, is a national PPO-style provider network that contracts with clinicians, clinics and hospitals and then rents that network to the companies that actually pay claims. It states plainly that it is not an insurance company and not a discount card program, which means nobody holds an “ACPN plan” the way they hold a carrier’s policy.

When a treatment program lists ACPN among accepted plans, the name signals a contracted rate rather than a benefit. Founded in 2012, with the office on its contact page in Tempe, Arizona, ACPN contracts with providers across every specialty and sells network access to insurance carriers, third-party administrators, health and welfare funds, self-administered employer groups, student plans and travel plans. Those clients, not ACPN, decide whether a detox admission is covered and what share of the bill lands on the member.

This guide covers what ACPN does and does not decide, how each level of care is handled, who issues prior authorization, what treatment costs when the network reprices a claim, how addiction medication is paid for, and how to find a program that participates in the network.
