Why Trust RehabSeekers.com?

RehabSeekers is an independent behavioral health directory covering drug and alcohol addiction and mental health treatment providers.

Every listing has a source: an official register, a licensing record, or details the facility sent us.

Credentials shown honestly. Accreditation, licensing and registration listed separately.

Reviews shown exactly as written. Never edited, never removed because a facility asked.

No commission, no referral fees. Nothing a facility pays for changes where it appears.

Contact details always go direct. Calls reach the facility itself, never a call centre.

Common questions

Answered from what is listed here.

Does Aspirus Health Plan cover rehab?

Yes, substance use treatment is a covered benefit. The plan's prior authorization list names planned admissions to psychiatric hospitals, substance use disorder facilities and residential treatment centers, along with partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, and 2026 Wisconsin individual plan summaries show both inpatient and outpatient behavioral health rows.

What you pay depends on the plan and on whether the program is in the Signature Network in Wisconsin or the Autograph Network in Minnesota.

Private Insurance Acceptedhttps://rehabseekers.com/insurance-accepted/private-insurance-accepted/
Does Aspirus Health Plan cover detox?

Yes, detox falls under the behavioral health benefit. Sub-acute and acute detox codes H0010 and H0011 appear on the Aspirus Health Plan prior authorization list effective November 1, 2025, so a planned detox admission needs approval before the stay begins. Emergency and urgent care need no prior authorization.

If an emergency visit turns into an admission to a medical or behavioral health facility, the plan asks for notification within two days.

Medical Detoxhttps://rehabseekers.com/programs/detox-centers/medical-detox/
Does Aspirus Health Plan cover inpatient rehab?

Yes, with prior authorization. On the 2026 HMO Silver 6600 plan, inpatient behavioral health care is 30% coinsurance after the $6,600 individual deductible and is covered in network only; on POS Silver 6000 it is 40% in network and 50% out of network.

Planned admissions to a psychiatric hospital, substance use disorder facility or residential treatment center all require approval first, which an in-network doctor arranges for the member.

Aspirus Health Plan, Inc. is a Wausau, Wisconsin insurer owned by the nonprofit Aspirus Health hospital system, selling individual and family coverage, employer group plans and, through 2026, Medicare Advantage. Addiction treatment sits inside the medical benefit, so the questions that decide access are which network the plan uses, which level of care is being requested, and whether authorization has been filed.

The network is regional rather than national. Wisconsin plans run on the Signature Network, which includes Aspirus alongside Aurora Health Care, Bellin Health, Children’s Wisconsin, Gundersen Health System, Reedsburg Area Medical Center, ThedaCare and UW Health. Minnesota individual plans use the Autograph Network. HMO plans pay nothing out of network except emergencies; POS plans pay out-of-network care at a separate, higher deductible and coinsurance. There is no Medicaid or BadgerCare Plus product on the plan’s own site.

This guide covers which levels of addiction care the plan pays for, where prior authorization applies and who files it, what 2026 marketplace plans charge for inpatient and outpatient behavioral health, how addiction medication is placed on the formulary, what makes a program in-network, and how to check network status before admission.
