Rehabs That Take Integrated Health Plan

Integrated Health Plan is a name listed by treatment centers in California as a source of coverage. Drug and alcohol treatment may be covered, depending on the plan, network and level of care. The name is used by more than a single organization, so check your member card to see which plan you have. Each California center here lists Integrated Health Plan on its own website. Call the plan and ask whether the facility is in network, whether prior authorization or a referral is required, and what your deductible or copay would be. Contact the center too, since accepted plans can change.

Why Trust RehabSeekers.com?

RehabSeekers is an independent behavioral health directory covering drug and alcohol addiction and mental health treatment providers.

Every listing has a source: an official register, a licensing record, or details the facility sent us.

Credentials shown honestly. Accreditation, licensing and registration listed separately.

Reviews shown exactly as written. Never edited, never removed because a facility asked.

No commission, no referral fees. Nothing a facility pays for changes where it appears.

Contact details always go direct. Calls reach the facility itself, never a call centre.

Common questions

Answered from what is listed here.

What is Integrated Health Plan (IHP)?

Integrated Health Plan (IHP) is a PPO provider network brand rather than an insurance company. It is owned by Claritev, formerly MultiPlan, which lists the IHP Network among its complementary PPO networks and its workers' compensation and auto medical networks. It sets no benefits and pays no claims.

A network logo on an ID card means the plan uses that network for contracted rates; the insurer or employer plan named on the card decides coverage.

Private Insurance Acceptedhttps://rehabseekers.com/insurance-accepted/private-insurance-accepted/
Does Integrated Health Plan cover rehab?

No, not on its own. IHP is a provider network, not an insurer, so whether detox, residential treatment, PHP, IOP or outpatient care is covered is decided by the health plan, employer plan or administrator named on your member ID card.

Claritev, which owns the network, states that it does not offer insurance, administer benefit plans or pay claims. Call the member services number on your card.

Inpatient Rehabhttps://rehabseekers.com/programs/inpatient/
Who owns Integrated Health Plan?

Claritev Corporation owns Integrated Health Plan. MultiPlan acquired IHP and its IHP Network in 2011, then renamed itself Claritev on February 17, 2025; its NYSE ticker changed from MPLN to CTEV on February 28, 2025. The parent company was founded in 1980.

Claritev leases its networks to health plans, third-party administrators, and workers' compensation and auto carriers, which remain responsible for benefits and claims.

Integrated Health Plan, written IHP on cards and in provider directories, is a PPO provider network rather than an insurance company. It supplies contracted rates to the plans that lease it, so a treatment program billing under the IHP label is paid at a negotiated rate. What is actually covered for addiction treatment is decided by whichever health plan, employer plan or administrator is named on the card.

The network has not stood on its own for a long time. MultiPlan acquired Integrated Health Plan and its IHP Network in 2011 and has since absorbed the network into its own branded one, and MultiPlan renamed itself Claritev on February 17, 2025, with its NYSE ticker changing from MPLN to CTEV on February 28, 2025. The old ihplan.com address redirects to Claritev’s network provider support page. Claritev states that it does not offer insurance, does not administer benefit plans and does not pay claims, and that it holds no information about a member’s insurance. The sister brand MultiPlan / PHCS works the same way.

That one distinction shapes every answer below. This guide covers what the IHP logo does and does not do, who decides on detox, residential, PHP, IOP and outpatient coverage, who handles prior authorization, what treatment costs when a complementary network is doing the discounting, how addiction medication is handled, and how to tell IHP apart from the Arizona Medicaid plans with similar names.
