Why Trust RehabSeekers.com?

RehabSeekers is an independent behavioral health directory covering drug and alcohol addiction and mental health treatment providers.

Every listing has a source: an official register, a licensing record, or details the facility sent us.

Credentials shown honestly. Accreditation, licensing and registration listed separately.

Reviews shown exactly as written. Never edited, never removed because a facility asked.

No commission, no referral fees. Nothing a facility pays for changes where it appears.

Contact details always go direct. Calls reach the facility itself, never a call centre.

Common questions

Answered from what is listed here.

What is MyCompass (TriaDD New York)?

MyCompass is a consumer information initiative and online Knowledge Center powered by TriaDD, a New York partnership of three Care Coordination Organizations serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities: Advance Care Alliance New York, LIFEPlan CCO NY and Person Centered Services. It is not an insurance company.

TriaDD formed in January 2019, when three of New York's seven CCOs came together, and gives its address as 258 Genesee Street in Utica.

Medicaid Rehabhttps://rehabseekers.com/insurance-accepted/medicaid/
Is MyCompass health insurance?

No, MyCompass is not an insurance plan. TriaDD NY, LLC filed the MYCOMPASS trademark in December 2020 for managed care health insurance plans serving individuals with I/DD, but the provider-led Medicaid plan behind it never launched. It operates today as a plain-language information site.

A Notice of Allowance was issued in November 2021, and no plan product, plan type or metal tier has ever been published under the name.

Private Insurance Acceptedhttps://rehabseekers.com/insurance-accepted/private-insurance-accepted/
Does MyCompass cover rehab?

No, rehab is not covered by MyCompass, which is not an insurer and runs no health plan. Detox, residential treatment, PHP, IOP and medication treatment are billed elsewhere, usually to fee-for-service Medicaid, Medicare or both for OPWDD-eligible New Yorkers.

A Care Coordination Organization care manager can coordinate addiction care and referrals, but the bill goes to the coverage the individual already holds.

MyCompass is not an insurance company. It is the public information brand of TriaDD, a New York partnership of three Care Coordination Organizations serving New Yorkers with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), and it pays for no detox bed, no residential stay and no counseling hour. The trademark belongs to TriaDD NY, LLC, and the MyCompass site describes itself as a Knowledge Center rather than a plan.

The name exists because of a plan that was never launched. TriaDD was formed in January 2019 by three of the state’s seven Care Coordination Organizations to become a provider-led Medicaid managed care model, and the MYCOMPASS mark filed on December 18, 2020 covers managed care insurance, claims processing and plan administration for the I/DD population. New York left that model under review, so the filing records an intention rather than a product. Where an admissions team lists MyCompass as an accepted payer, the coverage that actually settles the bill is New York Medicaid, Medicare or a commercial plan.

This guide explains what the three partner organizations do when addiction treatment is needed, why there is no prior authorization process behind the MyCompass name, what a stay costs and who sets the cost share, how medication is paid for, and how to work out which program a care manager can realistically send a referral to in New York.
