Me an My Wife have been coming here for I believe 3 years and we have no transportation an also we Missed one Bottle Check because Where we live we don't have Any service 😞 at all An They didn't have my new number to… call my phone so they Literally CUT US OFF AN WE HAVE TO START ALL OVER WE WE'RE GETTING 2 WEEK TAKE HOMES AND NOW I Guess We're Screwed just because Of Our Unfortunate Circumstances.
Saved my life. Period!
The best clinic
This place gets the job done I guess, you get ur meds the docotors are very rude, The doctors that just deal with their medicine, they’re always sweet except for the only guy. He is very annoying about your box. He… can’t just be. It can’t just be a softer lockbox cause it has to be a hard black box even though every other doctor dispenses your medication they dont care that it’s a not a solid box as long as it locks and If you have a slip up they scold you as a child instead offering help, my counselor Kelsey gets angry. Then they won’t give you a chance to explain yourself at all. I had a UTI and E. coli flu and I couldn’t eat. Somehow I fails for benzo that I didn’t do bc I said I was done the last time I failed and owed up to it. I KNOW I DIDNT TAKE ANYTHING I WAS IN PAIN from my uti. I would recommend private clinic north. I used to be in a better financial situation so I could pay to go there, but they are accepting my insurance Very soon and I’ll be immediately go back and they treat me SO well. I miss them so much!
Really nice people who are always helpful
This place really isn’t as bad as some folks are making it out to be. This is my second time on methadone after some years of sobriety. I’ve been attending this clinic for about two weeks now, and I’ve yet to have… anyone treat me unfairly or unkindly. The rules have also relaxed somewhat since COVID, which is nice. Yes, it’s difficult to want to go to a clinic three days a week, but it’s definitely better than every day, and if you weren’t walking through those doors, you’d be out every day trying to score, not knowing what hit will be your last. I was told you can qualify for a week’s worth of take-home medication now after 30 days; unfortunately, I’m still testing positive at day 14 due to heavy prior use, and the internet doesn’t tell you that fentanyl is highly lymphatic, so it builds up in your fat cells. The lady at the front desk is always really nice; I like my counselor too. The nurses who hand out the dose have been great, and my doctor, the lady there, is very pleasant, helpful, and professional. If you don’t like this place, you’re probably just not following the rules. The only reason I took a star off is that it’s an old clinic with harsh lighting, and the bathroom where you do the urine screen is kind of gross. But I'm a highly sensitive person and suffer from bipolar depression and anxiety, and I've not yet felt uncomfortable. Also, you are in control of coming and going. I wanted to wean off years ago and they let me. I dropped down from 50 mg to 5 mg before ultimately leaving and wasn’t feeling uncomfortable or anything, so they will work with you. It doesn’t have to be permanent. I plan to stay here and hope to wean off and switch to Suboxone. Do yourself a favor if you’re done using; give this clinic a try. It’s really not as bad as people are making it out to be, and I’m a straightforward person about these sorts of things. I promise you that you won’t regret getting help. I know everyone has different experiences, but remember there’s always a few people who work anywhere who aren’t the best or having a bad day, but the majority of the people at this clinic are really good people who care about getting you the help you need.
The staff here are great & will help you kick opiate dependence. Very caring staff. As well as professional.
The best clinic i have been to and I have been to quite a few
Chelsey Duncan was on her personal phone as I came to the window and said to her personal friend I assume that she was interrupted she had to let them go and would call them back because she had to assist another daily… drug user very unprofessional people struggle everyday but when you're coming to get help and then the person that is supposed to be a role model talk to you like that is it really worth it she definitely don't need a job parsley she looks like she's a really bad user herself so I would assume that she would understand I've been coming there for 2 years almost 3 and have never met or seen this lady but was very rude and have never had any problems with anyone there ever until I run into this thing
I've been here a dozen times.they don't judge
The way this place is ran, the lack of organization along with communication is lacking. I am sure they help people that have issues and I am glad some people have good experience, ect, but they need to work on their… billing department and getting things filed in an accurate and timely manner instead of charging pt's outrageous amounts of money that the insurance would have covered if properly managed and filled. If they know a pt and pt's family case, they need to communicate better with that family/have the proper paperwork completed at the beginning of each year and not drag things out to where it effects the lives of everyone involved. It is unfair and not handled correctly and is very unappreciated. They are also very serious about appointments, if the pt and pt's family wanted to go on vacation, they can't go around the time of the appointment, which is very inconvenient. No one understands this rule as to why they cannot move the appointment a day or two. Not impressed. They close way to early and you can't get in touch with anyone. They put people off that they don't want to talk to.
Are these updated photos of the Chattanooga facility? Or are they photos of the Cleveland facility? I don't remember the Chatt facility looking that good. It has been 4 yrs tho.
This place has outstanding counselors that work hard to help you with everything relating to your well being!
Every since joining this place my life has taken a turn for the better 100% and is going nowhere but up from here. The staff and my counselor are absolutely amazing people who genuinely want to see you succeed. Its not… just a job to them. They actually enjoy living to see lives changed. Im forever grateful for these open doors!
Best clinic I’ve ever been to! They care about you and your treatment plan. Sweet understanding nurses and Counselors! I recommend to anyone that is serious about getting help! God Bless all of you!
Ive been here off and on over 13yrs. this clinic is hands down the best in TN. People who disagree usually aren't doing what there supposed to do. Pass your drug test and counts and you will keep your take homes. Yes,… outta the blue something could go wrong. Volunteer wants you to have your take homes. If you don't like Volunteer, go on up to Knoxville and see how BHG treats you. I bet you come back to Volunteer.
Some people choose maintenance for life and some can go short term and stop. They take the pesky ole decision making process away from you because after you there for so long, problem after problem will happen that… makes it hard to get your take homes and make it inconvenient as possible. . They control everything you see out there about them and have false reviews that make them look like saviours. As long as you follow the rules right .... I followed the rules and had clean drug test and did counseling and I come in and my counselor said I missed my bottle check. I watch that stuff very very carefully I plan for them to make sure I check my voicemails and everything. I come in and my counselor said I missed my bottle check and there was no call and no voicemail. Of course nothing I said would be accepted and I was phased down for a month that turned into 7 weeks bc Amanda wouldn't ever approve my paperwork "supposedly". The nurse Amanda was nice in the beginning but after I didn't taper or drink herbal tea for my pain like she suggested her true personalities started slipping out. Don't go here. There is many other better clinics that will help you. They are only nice and decent to you long enough to get you stable and it doesn't matter if you want maintenance, they don't care at all about what you want. They don't treat the people like humans anyways. From the beginning they let me know my head was in a noose and they'd do whatever they want to me and there was nothing I could say or do bc Im just an addict and bc Im an addict nothing I say or feel matters
They SAVED my life. PERIOD - there's not enough space here for me to express the changes that have come into my life due to having this safe space to go. I should and would be dead right now if I hadn't taken a chance… on them... My best friend has since passed away - I couldn't get her to go to the clinic and trust that it would save her too 😔 I am taking advantage of every aspect the clinic offers. I adore my counselor and need them in my life now. If you need help DO NOT HESITATE... If you're not ready GET READY - or be miserable and die there... That's what I thought my story was gonna be... If only you could see me now... U can see me then - just look in the mirror. I am you - come be me!! REGAIN CONTROL! ✌️ One love ❤️
Giving the tools needed for survival.
I am so grateful for Volunteer CTC! All of the staff, from the lab to the nurses to the counselors are kind and truly care about their patients. Highly recommend!
All the counselors are amazing the nurses are really sweet the program is good and they really have helped change my life 💯 and I seriously would recommend struggling people with opioid issues to try VTC!!
It's a wonderful place to be if you need recovery...the staff and nurses are awsome!!!
You get what you give. Amazing counselors that have been there and done that. They treat ppl with respect. Life changing!👍
