The only thing necessary for evil to triumph in the world is that good men do nothing! I find this place helpful and am glad I was introduced to the program. I stayed at the transitional living also. I'm greatful for… them. My only complaint is I was kicked out of transitional living because I refused to come back without my friend that ran to relapse. This caused me to break curfew by 5 hours. I was successful in my attempt to save her life. I'm not entitled to be there and would make the same decision every single time. Despite what they teach and claim to stand for my effort following those ideologies was met with hostility. I find the decision to be petty and technical showing no compassion. I have no regrets in my decision and hope they can live with theirs knowing exactly what happened and why. However I would recommend them any day of the week there are some really good people there.
Have had a great experience here so far! All of the counselors I’ve had interactions are helpful and kind. I find the all of the staff to be willing to make sure that you are assisted and have the appointments you need,… etc. My sign up was easy and everything with court coordination has been fluid! All of the people in my groups are great and the atmosphere allows for sharing and vulnerability. I haven’t experienced any judgement from any one here from the staff or fellow clients! Also, the UA testing is super fast and you’re in and out in no time.
Definitely use any other service, zero professional here.
Didn't last a day here. They were going to take my food stamps.yet were refusing to bend an inch for a lactose.free diet. Their recommendation was and I quote was to 'go hungry'. Staff that serves food.was incredibly… rude too. This is a punitive program.
So awful!!!! Saying that they were unprofessional is being VERY polite!! So rude, so mean, so demeaning, just absolutely terrible!! Anyone who goes to them will need counseling just for what THEY put you through. Just… don't be five minutes late!!
I would give this place 0 stars if I could and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. ALSO DONT PAY TOO MUCH ATTENTION TO THE 5 STAR RATINGS AS CCC HAS A SIGN OUT FOR CLIENTS STATING IF THEY GIVE CCC A 5 STAR RATING… THEY WILL GET A KING SIZE CANDY BAR. To start off with inpatient, I left because nothing was being done about a client picking on me for my color and picking on me for just about everything and the staff was notified. They did nothing besides in my opinion, reward her for her bad attitude having her “in charge” of the female clients which she was supposed to show them around, be NICE, and make sure the other girls got to groups on time etc in which she couldn’t even do that. People go to rehab to get BETTER, not to be picked on by fellow clients and have nothing done about it. Now outpatient substance abuse treatment I would say was worse because they set you up with appointments, you show up and then they tell you that the provider is not in, that whoever did the scheduling messed up. That wastes everybody’s time, gas and a lot of people are on a time frame to get things completed for court related things. Also I was told after my domestic violence evaluation there were NO RECOMMENDATIONS for further dv classes or anything. Over a month goes by after my evaluation and my CPS worker hands me a copy of the recommendations stating I should’ve started DV classes over a month ago and CCC FAILED TO INFORM ME OF THAT after my “comprehensive evaluation “. So now they’ve given me wrong information, and failed to inform me. I transferred to RNC; rural Nevada counseling and they are 100% better and on top of everything.
I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. They are very disrespectful even when you're trying to follow up on information for court, especially Andrew he is very disrespectful and hell of a judgmental counselor staff.… I called way back to let them know that I am stuck in Reno for a job, and I already knew I have to finish for the court and he was like can you please hold and I was on hold for 30 mins . I went to answer when he picked up and it hung up and I called back and he answered he's like WHY YOU HANG UP in a rude tone , I was like look it hung up I'm just calling back so I was can I speak to the manager ,he's like I am the manager on duty . I was nope I need to speak to someone else . They don't care about helping you , my family told me they keep people there for years without discharge them. I also don't recommend David Bailey He sucked as a public defender for Carson City, I've tried to explain my personal situation . I even told them to try doing community service like trash clean up but nope he put me in a worse spot.
Community counseling center is giving me the tools to get my life back on track. The staff takes a genuine interest in our recovery and will do everything in their power to help you if they can.
Never disappointed with the services I recieve at CCC. All the employees are very kind and helpful. I would recommend to anyone looking for behavioral health services or substance abuse treatment. They work with… everyone who needs assistance! 5/5
Great place to recover
Great place they challenge you to find out things about yourself you didn't know
The front office Krystal is wonderful is always on top of her stuff, Justine is amazing, Angela is an amazing outstanding peer, Carol is very helpful as well for being the director. Tandi and Bella are amazing as well.… Thank you ccc for helping me build my foundation💯
Good place, nice staff.
I was referred here by my primary doctor for therapy to help navigate some of life's rough waters lately. I attended one session and the therapist was great- however every other aspect was atrocious. They were unable to… provide me with the actual cost to continue sessions... and told me their billing department would call me back to let me know. IT'S BEEN OVER A MONTH and still no response! It's a good thing I'm not suicidal or anything like that because they obviously don't care about your well being... Please, save yourself and DO NOT use this facility unless it is court ordered and you don't have a choice. It seemed as though I was the only person there who did not need to get drug tested and was there by their own choice. This is a center for court ordered ordeals and that is certainly the vibe here. So if you don't like to be treated like a criminal and it's just a therapist you seek, go somewhere else PLEASE!
There are no words strong enough to fully express my gratitude for the Community Counseling Center in Carson City, Nevada. Back in March of 2023, at one of the lowest points in my life, they helped save me. Their… intuitive and divinely orchestrated group therapy sessions, counseling, and unwavering support were nothing short of a miracle. I want to give a heartfelt shoutout to Mary, Camille, Pam, the incredible staff, and the peers who stood beside me. You reminded me of who I truly was, helped me see my worth, and taught me that I was not only capable of recovery but also deserving of a full and beautiful life. Through their guidance, I learned how to be transparent, truthful, and honest-not just with others, but with myself. I was able to share my story and listen to others share theirs, which brought connection, healing, and accountability. They helped me face my fears and confront the demons I had long avoided. They reminded me that I am worthy of love-especially self-love. Their encouragement to participate in programs like AA and NA, to take action, and to be consistent was pivotal. They taught me the importance of community and accountability. And to God, for orchestrating this divine meeting, I am forever thankful. CCC was the answer to my prayers and a beacon of light when I was lost in the darkness. If you are feeling hopeless, lost, or desperate, I urge you to take a step toward the light. Make an investment in yourself and reach out for help. We are not meant to walk this journey alone, and CCC is proof that there are people and places ready to lift you up and remind you of your worth. To the staff and peers at CCC: You are guardian angels in every sense. Thank you for helping me rediscover my purpose, my voice, and my strength. I will be eternally grateful for your love, care, and encouragement. If you’re searching for hope, this is where it begins. Step into the light. With all my heart, Leti P.S. still growing and going S T R O N G🫶🏼
Really changed my life but it’s super hard. Take with that what you will.
I would not recommend coming here for mental health services or help. Their main concern here is drug abuse, even with no drug use you will be treated like a drug addict. I would recommend Carson Community Mental Health… or Vitality.
This place is a joke, they won't ever reach out to you after a evaluation or any appointment and keep you guessing. Camilla made so many errors in my boyfriends evaluation. On the first page it has his birthday and then… in the first line it says he is 10 years older than his birth date does. So unprofessional. The bald anger management guy should not be an anger management councilor since he is such a provocative person, just trying to make you angry. I don't understand how this place is still in business since I am not the first person to be screwed over by an evaluation full of errors here.
Fair, honest and they didn't try to trap me in the system like alternative sentencing does for revenue.
If you are wanting to get clean and stay clean off of drugs/alcohol and you have the right mindset (driven, positive), their residential program is world-class. I haven't had a single issue in the past few months I've… been a client of theirs. Keep up the great work guys.
Only one of my intake counselors listened to me and tried to help. The other two made me feel judged and I walked out of my third appointment due to it. Good luck to those who try to go themselves without a court order,… self intake, they’ll make it about other things instead of what help you’re seeking.
CCC is a support center for the entire community, including our Latino community. CCC has very kind, well-prepared, and attentive counselors, therapists, and case managers. The Spanish-language groups, counseling, and… individual and family therapy have helped me a lot and have improved my life. Thank you so much to the entire CCC team!
