My son receives mental health services, and as his parent, I expect to be treated with courtesy, respect, and professionalism when seeking care on his behalf. Unfortunately, I have experienced multiple incidents… involving Nicole that have caused unnecessary stress and concern. A few weeks ago, during an in-person visit to your office, Nicole demanded that I provide my son’s Social Security card and birth certificate. She did so in a rude and disrespectful manner and did not explain why these documents were needed. Rather than communicating professionally, her tone and attitude made me feel as though I was being treated unfairly for simply asking questions and trying to understand the request. Today, I called the office to schedule an appointment for my son. While I was attempting to schedule the appointment, Nicole abruptly hung up on me before the conversation was complete. As a parent trying to ensure my child receives needed mental health care, being disconnected without explanation is unacceptable and interferes with access to care. While I did not file a complaint after the first incident, I hoped it was an isolated occurrence. After today’s experience, however, I believe there is a pattern of unprofessional behavior that should be addressed.
This office cancelled on me twice the day of my appointments. Always staying “the therapist had to leave”. They should probably have more reliable therapists if they can’t bother to ever stay a full day at work. On top… of that the receptionist never leaves a voicemail, when you call back it takes a while, and multiple calls, to get through. I suggest just going to the Dothan office if you actually want help. I have been trying to just do an initial intake appointment for three months and have been unsuccessful solely based on their atrocious business practices.
Very rude and inconsiderate people couldn’t even take the time to help
My husband sought help for an emergent emotional condition today but was rudely treated and turned away due to his inability t pay. What the hell. Must continue to suffer. Think these people need help for their own… sickness.
Absolutely the worst mental health facility I’ve encountered. Your mental health will decay simply from dealing with these incompetent bottom feeders. If I specifically ask about a diagnosis, and you wait until I’ve… paid for intake and medication conferencing to say you don’t treat that diagnosis, you are scum. DO. NOT. ENTER. Stay far away!
Very impersonal, treat people like numbers, but if desperate for unneeded medications, this is the place
