Safe Journey House – Hyattsville Detox and Rehab Services
Recorded services at Safe Journey House – Hyattsville are residential treatment and sober living. Which of these is appropriate depends on an assessment, not on what sounds manageable at the time.

Safe Journey House – Hyattsville Address, Location and Contact Information
The facility address is 6910 Annapolis Road, Hyattsville, Maryland, 20784. The city lies within Prince Georges County. The site also serves the surrounding area, and anyone traveling in should confirm the route before setting out. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.
A quick call before you go will settle directions, parking and what to expect first time. If getting there is hard, ask about a remote first appointment. Admissions lines are frequently busiest early in the week, which is worth knowing if the first attempt fails.

awful.
we need a ping pong table
Horrible treatment of me specifically. Constantly the female staff would try to talk to me when I just wanted to be left alone, they’d walk up to me and remind me of rules I didn’t break. Watch how they respond to this… as well. I’ll leave a second one star if they do
Miai is racists and tries to make it hard on you. There is also bed bugs. No one should ever go here

Love it and it was fun!!!
The staff is phenomenal. They don't wait for you to ask for help or services, the come to you directly with resources you didn't even know existed. There is real help happening here.
They helped me in my time of need. 5 stars isn't enough
RUN Seriously RUN!. Believe the negative comments below. This business needs to be investigated.
The experiences I have received at SJH have been invaluable in shaping my Outlook on mental health and my dedication to serving the mentally Ill in my community. The work culture of SJH is relaxed and caring and the… patients are the first focus of the staff. Proud to be here.
Safe Journey House saved my life- Thanks to the attentive, experienced one-on-one staff & personalized crisis counseling services, I was provided me with the proper community outreach resources both medically &… community housing opportunities available for those in need- in crisis.
friendly staff great environment
First, let me start by saying im a Male in my mid 30's and this was a great experience for me. For anyone suffering from any kind of Mental health disorder this is a great place to recieve treatment and get your… medicines. Safe Journey is a Crisis bed and me myself have used Safe Journey on several occasions during my hardships on a day to day basis.I was able to see a doctor get back on my medication and attend group meetings, on top of that i got THREE hot delicious meals and a warm bed to sleep at night. Safe Journey allowed me the opportunity to clean myself up and get away from the stress of everyday life while also planning for my near future. Safe journey was a great experience and i recommend Safe journey to anyone going through a Mental Health Crisis.
I am writing this to stand up for Safe Journey House, since it looks like many people are unhappy with their individualized experiences here. Safe Journey House is not perfect, no crisis center or social service is.… Many do the best they can with the resources they have. I understand SJH cannot make every one that comes through our doors happy. The goal of SJH is to have our clients leave here more stable than when they came in. Every case is different and has a different outcome. Some people are thrilled with the treatment they received here while others are not at all. Every individual is different. With that said, we may not be perfect, you may not be either but we want to make a difference. You critiques are welcome and we take all of them personally to better our establishment. As a crisis center, we receive positive and negative feedback, obviously it is more likely for a client to post derogatory statements about an organization based on frustration in regards to the type of food we have (for example, we have frozen broccoli instead of fresh, little things like that can be upsetting to some people) a negative experience or discussion with a counselor or the general regulations of the center. Opinions also vary based on personal background, experience and expectations. That is how the world works sometimes We are a temporary housing crisis center, not a hotel. We cater to those who have limited options. The staff that works here is highly educated in the social services and mental health field and care about minority populations. We do the best we can.
Felt like I was being run out of the program. Witnessed extreme bias, some consumers were allowed to assault others while others were targeted by staff. I have questions on the legality of certain practices. I would… recommend finding somewhere more conducive to recovering from mental health crisis's.
