Hope Network New Passages – Flint Detox and Rehab Services

Hope Network New Passages – Flint is recorded as offering intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Day programming is scheduled, with evenings spent at home. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.

Co-occurring mental health conditions are addressed alongside substance use, which is the approach the evidence supports. Ask directly about session times and frequency, as those details decide whether someone can realistically attend.

Hope Network New Passages – Flint Address, Location and Contact Information

The facility address is G-3169 Beecher Road, Flint, Michigan, 48532. Genesee County covers this area. The site also serves the surrounding area, and anyone traveling in should confirm the route before setting out. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.

Phone ahead about parking, access and what the first appointment covers. If getting there is hard, ask about a remote first appointment. Reception hours vary, so a call that goes unanswered once is worth repeating rather than treating as a dead end.

I have been getting mental health treatment here for over 10 years now. The care has kept me stable. However if I were in a more severe state I would be concerned for my care. My case manager or therapist would be… switched without it being discussed with me, most of the time they would miss my appointment so I would call and be informed that I had a new case manager or therapist. I love my nurse but even my nurse has been switched several times. I’m glad I’m coherent enough to advocate for myself my heart breaks for people who aren’t. The receptionist can do better! How are you walking away as you clearly seen me approaching the window?! Not to mention the receptionists phone etiquette!!! You work in mental health care, do better!!!

I wouldn't return to Hope Network under any circumstances. The case manager didn't tell me, until it was too late, she had been speaking to one of my family members. I admit I had given permission to speak to this… family member, but I should have been told about it. I did not realize this family member was asking questions that she was using to hurt me. When I asked my case manager why she didn't tell me about the odd questions that were being asked, of her, she stated she didn't tell me because she didn't want to upset me. I CERTAINLY WAS UPSET TO FIND OUT MY FAMILY MEMBER WAS FISHING FOR INFORMATION TO USE AGAINST ME. No I do NOT recommend anyone seeking help at Hope Network. My life was turned upside down and inside out as a result of putting my faith in one of their case managers. I am safe, now, and receiving competent care at another agency.

It started with scheduling my intake. I have out of State private insurance and it's been difficult finding places in area that take it for any type of behavioral health facilities. During initial call, they took my… info and scheduled my intake. Upon arriving, I saw ladies at front were on phone so I made eye contact ensuring they saw me, and signed in on board at counter. Not to mention the entire wall of that office is a window so they can see waiting room as well. I sat for 30 mins past appointment and went and asked what was taking so long and they never let person know I was there for intake. Upon getting to the back, it was noticed that ALL of my info was incorrect, from my name, address to my insurance, everything! I am a patient person and know mistakes happen, we're all human, but it was being read back to me on day of initial phone call so I was confused as to how much of my info was incorrect! I finally get scheduled with Counselor, but the day of appointment, I receive voicemail that she's out of office for an unknown amount of time. I get it. Emergencies happen. I call back TWICE to schedule my first Counseling appointment with someone else, since mine was cancelled the day of, and get transferred to wrong person BOTH times. And one of the voicemails says not to leave messages, so obviously I did not. I do not know if this is typically how this establishment is ran, but I feel bad for those who have dire emotional concerns as this could potentially be difficult for some to deal with. Thankfully, I have my patience, but not everyone does and in the field of mental health, I think its imperative to try to be as professional as possible. I know perfection isn't a thing, but damn, how can so much go wrong with one place in such a short amount of time?? I will be starting over I guess, after I call my insurance back, as I cannot seem to get my first actual counseling appointment scheduled.

Why is there not a ZERO rating!!???????? MICHAEL VICTOR is EXTREMELY rude! How do you call yourself a therapist more like a medication pusher if you ask me!! I explained to him that the medication was giving my father… increased tremors so I was administering him the dosage that his pc had him on and it was doing better he straight up told me “ FIRST OF ALL IT WASN'T A HIGH DOSE NOR MY DECISION TO MAKE” bwahaha sir this is my father and I take care of him daily you speak to him twice in 4 months by asking dumb indirect questions and not getting to the point then said he would be raising the dose!!! Sir good luck with that uncaring attitude you will NEVER prescribe another thing for my Dad!! Then sadly your poor staff member seemed afraid of not correctly answering questions to you you’re nothing but a joke a big bully! Don’t worry not that you will but I got this for him and always have!

No hope at this network😔. I really thought this place would care enough to actually try. The woman LIED straight to my face, and they expect complete transparency from the client. They do not consider your mental health… how they should. It doesn't matter what works for you and helps your quality of life, if the psychiatrist don't agree that's it. This is unfortunate for the ones trying to live life the right way. This is why so many people turn to drugs. It breaks my heart.

After that initial appointment, everything went downhill. The telehealth appointments are a bunch of unorganized mess. The doctors don't even come into the office. They've sent me links that don't work on the newest… version of a Samsung phone, stating that it was my device. So that appointment has TY be rescheduled as if it was my fault. The next appointment, they never even sent the link and rescheduled for August. So my daughter, who knows she needs help, can't get the help bcz they're unorganized professionals. Will look to take her someplace else, too start the whole process over again.

I have been in hope network for about 10 or so years I have seen pretty much all of the doctors there and NONE of them freaking listen to the patients they all think they know better than you do with your problems I… tried to get seen by Michael Victor today because I haven't been medicated in about a half of year because the combination of meds they had me on made me wet the bed so I took myself off the meds because like I don't like peeing the bed I'm 30 years old and he refused to see me I'm over this place the case management is great I have had wonderful experience with them just not the know-it-all doctors

I have been going to this Hope Network for over a year now. I have had almost zero problems with this place, except for when I was given a new psychiatrist (I requested a new one, did not ask for this Dr). The one star… rating is PURELY for Dr. Brahny. Dr Brahny was incredibly rude to me and condescending throughout our entire session. I could only get in about 10-15 words at a time before she would interrupt me and speak for twice as long as I had been speaking for. She was also extremely invalidating towards me and my mental state throughout the single hour I've ever known her for. I learned later in the week of our meeting, in a different appointment, that she had marked the day I told her that (after four months of not speaking due to an argument HE caused) my ten years older than me brother showed up to my home and looked in my windows to "make sure we were still living there" as a PSYCHOTIC EPISODE in my files, when nothing of that nature was ever suggested. I suppose since I felt threatened at a man who's hit me before showing up at my home with no warning, that was a psychotic episode? I really hope she's not seeing any victims of domestic violence. On her condescending and interrupting me: in our only appointment so far I had mentioned I've been seen here for a while but asked for a new psychiatrist. She asked me why, and I started telling her "well I've been here for a bit but I was having issues with figuring out [issue regarding emancipation for financial aid, because it is dangerous for me to be in contact with my family] so I --" and before I could finish, she began asking me about that issue. I began to explain why I cannot be in contact with my family (involving a registered sex offender father and several enablers), and she still would not let me speak a full sentence. Finally we got onto the topic of my diagnoses; I have been diagnosed ADHD (first ADD) since I was seven years old. She gave me the "remember these three words" test, and then this woman told me "You are very intelligent, I do not think you are ADHD. I have met ADHD people and they cannot pay attention for a minute." I have been on Adderall for my condition for almost 6 months at this point, and it is working. Also, ADHD does not make someone stupid. How unprofessional can you be, because she's setting the record! At this point in this session (which is our FIRST and ONLY session thus far) I have been getting extremely irritated with her because she has been saying offhanded invalidating remarks along these lines for fifteen to thirty minutes, which is how long it's been since I have met this woman. Dr. Brahny began throwing out possible diagnoses of bipolar disorder (that one has been ruled out for over four years by several psychiatrists elsewhere -- I've been in care for a good long while, you see, my mood swings are PTSD. sorry.) and borderline personality disorder (has also been ruled out for three years), suggested taking away my ADHD diagnosis which would get rid of my ability to have insurance cover my Adderall which helps me function, talked down to me the entire time, and implicitly insulted me several times during ONE HOUR. This woman is unprofessional and is a good example of the reason a lot of people like me, who NEED help, do not seek help. DO BETTER.

I went to see the psychiatrist Dr Bhrany the other day, I went with hope she would help me with my mental health. I've been feeling depressed, anxious and mostly, I've felt this feeling I cannot quite explain. I guess… anxiety? (Feeling like I'm going to passout In public, the need to constantly sit down, like I'm going to quite breathing, extreme pressure in my ears, and much more) I am 25, I lost both of my parents and all of my grandparents in a span on 10 years due to cancer, diseases and addiction (alcohol). I raise my 4 year old autistic daughter with my boyfriend (biological father not in her life or his family). I've been through so much, trauma, abuse, neglect and just unspeakable things I would never wish upon anybody. I told Dr. Bhrany about losing my parents and grandparents, her response: "it's just life". She said that twice. I told her that I've been feeling really bad to the point I cannot leave the house on my own or without my boyfriend. She said that since I started feeling this way my parents and grandparents deaths have not contributed to me feeling this way. She started bringing up her husband that died a year ago, (I guess to compare our tragedys.) I told her (and my doctor) that the lexapro I've been taking isn't working for me, and that I feel better off of it. The entire time she kept saying she was going to prescribe me with something to help me with my anxiety (I forgot what it was). I asked her if she was going to prescribe me with whatever it was she said, she told me no, I am not going to prescribe you anything, just keep taking the Lexapro. She also said that lexapro was a good medicine. At the end of the session I asked if sometime down the line if it were possible if I could get diagnosed/tested for autism, (multiple reasons why I think I am) she said no, you are not autistic, you do not have the mannerisms and so forth, just by looking at me. She told me just be positive (multiple times) thinking to myself if I weren't positive I wouldn't even be there. I left Hope Network with tears in my eyes thinking, well I tried. I tried expressing my concerns to her and once again I was shut down, I will never get the help I need. I was just so frustrated and upset that this psychiatrist isn't taking me seriously or helping me. I won't be back to see her. Mental health is so important, and for a medical professional to say these things it's not okay.
