The facility address is 61 James Way, Eatontown, New Jersey, 7724. The city lies within Monmouth County. The catchment reaches beyond the city itself. Public transport, parking and the length of the journey all affect whether someone completes a course of treatment, and they are worth settling before the first appointment rather than after.

How Much Does Treatment at Premier Mental and Behavioral Services – Eatontown Cost?

Self-funded rehab in New Jersey typically costs $1,500 to $6,000 a month for standard outpatient care. A price list for Premier Mental and Behavioral Services could not be found at the time of writing, so those state costs are an estimate.

I had a very disappointing experience with this facility. I want to make it clear that the therapist and psychiatrist I worked with were amazing and genuinely caring, but unfortunately, the billing practices and the way… I was treated by staff completely overshadowed that positive experience. I received a bill months after the visits occurred and was never notified that services I had previously understood to be covered by insurance would no longer be covered. When I called to ask why I had not been notified and to explain why I felt this was unacceptable, the man I spoke with on the phone was extremely rude and demanding about payment. Rather than listening to my concerns or explaining the situation he became dismissive and ultimately hung up on me. When I called back, I was told that he was unable to come to the phone. I later spoke with a woman and, at that point, I told her to simply charge me because I deal with enough emotional stress on a daily basis. What hurt the most was feeling completely unheard and disregarded by people working in a facility that is supposed to support individuals dealing with mental health challenges. People seeking mental health care are already in vulnerable emotional states. Staff who handle billing and patient concerns should understand the importance of treating patients with patience, compassion, and respect. No one should feel ignored, belittled, or dismissed when they are simply asking reasonable questions about an unexpected bill. I truly hope the facility takes this feedback seriously and provides better training or hire better people to interact with patients. The clinicians I worked with were wonderful, but the administrative experience was incredibly upsetting and disappointing. If I could give zero stars, I would.

I was looking some someone that practiced a particular type of therapy and that’s why I chose them. Right from the start it went south. After a frustrating pathway through another company located somewhere else I… finally got an appointment with the counselor I had researched as a practitioner of ACT. After an intake call with someone else I finally met the counselor, only to learn she DID NOT practice ACT. Having already spent weeks to get to this point I decided to give her a try. The sessions were uninspiring and not prepared for at all. She had little recollection of what we had spoken about, and walked me through several of her to do’s on multiple calls. I honestly never felt she was prepared at all. The final straw came last week. We had a call scheduled in the morning. The night before we had a bit of a catastrophe due to the storms the night before. I was 10 minutes late to the video call and explained the situation. We spoke for 5 minutes and she agreed the call would not be effective as I had to deal with what was happening at home. Three days later I get a charge on my credit card for a $50 fee for late appointment cancellation! I called and asked why not just process the appointment through my insurance. They said this is the policy and they will not make any adjustments. I cancelled my remaining appointments and am now looking for a new counselor. At the time I needed someone to deal with a mental health issue they left me high and dry.

Nicholas, the medicine provider pretty much saved my life. Barely any doctors could find the right medicine combination yet he was able to help me and to also maintain wellness. A blessing thatIi happened to come across… him. A great man for sure and genuinely cares that his patients get back to being well. Positive Reset is lucky to have him 👍👍

Like all the other one star reviews this practice has predatory methods for billing. For example, I scheduled an appointment for my partner through ZocDoc with Kelsey for my husband who had a really hard time this week.… I spent 3 hours to find this woman. Scheduled a therapy consultation. My husband tries to attend his appointment. On Zoom, her name was listed as Kelsey but NOT the person in the photo. My husband texts me and asks if it was Kelsey and he sends me a screenshot of their Zoom. It’s clearly not her which is illegal. So I called the offices after and they were adamant this chubby, younger 30 year old woman wearing a v-neck scrub was the aged woman in the photo. I never told them I have a photo of the person and the fact this lady quite literally told my husband she was the person who does intake at the office. Additionally, we confirmed a scheduled consultation yet this was an intake for my husband to be matched with another therapist after spending 3 hours to find this one. The offices apologized and the office manager shared she would call me back. They didn’t call me back so I reached out to them. They were adamant that it was Kelsey and on a recorded call, even stated that she described my partner. I was genuinely waiting for them to say it was a sincere mistake so I can be matched with a better therapist but after seeing them lie like that made be question their integrity as therapists, especially in a setting where you’re sharing personal information. So I asked what was the mishap with the appointment when it was scheduled to speak to Kelsey and they said it was an administrative, appointment error. Okay so 3 hours looking, 30 mins on an intake call, 40 mins following up, 1 hour spending time completing Zocdoc intake forms which then transferred us to Headway to complete more forms as we found out they were connected for this woman to literally try and bill my husband’s insurance to match him with a therapist. You guys are sickos and will ruin someone’s mental health. So now that you wasted my time, lied to us, and more, I’m absolutely pursuing legal route for this.

I’ve been a client here at Positive Reset since 2024! My therapist Riana Melillo (ask for them) has changed my life in ways I hadn’t thought possible. I want to also give a shout out to my psychiatrist Tomeka Mapp who… is incredible with medication management! At the start of my journey I was extremely depressed. My anxiety and ptsd made life almost impossible to navigate. In recent months, I no longer even recognize the person I was back in 2024. I can now tackle each day knowing that I have many blessings to live for. I’m ready to take on future goals and I see improvements every week with the self soothing exercises I’ve been taught. You truly never know how much you may need therapy and medication till you give it a try. I want to TRULY thank the team at Positive Reset for always being patient and never undermining very rational or even irrational worries! The front desk staff are also always equally as amazing and polite, this establishment is all around the best of the best!

I’ve been seeing Chanel for about a year now, and she has made a truly meaningful impact on my life. She has supported me through grief, major life transitions, and challenges with depression and anxiety with… compassion, professionalism, and care. She’s helped me build practical coping skills that I use in my daily life, and they’ve really helped me feel more grounded during difficult times. Chanel creates a safe, supportive environment and genuinely cares about her clients’ well-being. I’m very grateful for her guidance and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful and effective therapist.

Such a good experience with Aliyah Price. I feel seen, validated and heard. I’ve had so many counselors or therapists but I must say she deserves everything, a raise, a million dollars, all good things for her… professionalism, her care and empathy and she truly has a gift for making me look inward and keeping positive. I see a different, more positive perspective since I tend to be hard on myself. I actually look forward to sessions. In the past I’ve given up too easy in therapy but I feel truly motivated. She’s just awesome

Proceed don't be fooled by the landing page that works or the photoshopped photos of the providers, especially if you're seeking to heal and get well in life the first point of contact being reception will be the… downfall of your existence. Taking your already questionable state of mental health to a new low you didn't think was possible. I kept wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt as JILL the receptionist proceeded to inadequately to her job really she was just there to collect a paycheck and not actually help patients. As she disregard information multiple times creating multiple conflicts in the end the information she disregard was to prevent this prolonged wait pireod of multiple med appointments canceled by positive reset. was giving her so I wouldn't be in the possession I am in since this week. Finaly my 3rd attempt at medication management appointment in hopes I would actually be seen this time by a provider. I was never seen or provided with care but they had the audacity to charge me as I was standing for 25 min waiting for someone to meet me I called and called no answer on my 9th call out i got an incoming call from JILL saying I need to reschedule not even listening to me say im outside I've been waiting or even let me in. I was at a door as the call center said they would come bring me to the office I had to10 min before my appointment time because I showed up to my apt to a burnt building I had no voicemail of this or new location no memo with my confirmation I drove over a hour !!! And Alison the clinic director said she was not informed I believe even didn't escalate my complaint weeks ago properly you'll feel much better taking a walk outside and getting fresh air .

The therapist I worked with once was great but the actual company bills your insurance as an “outpatient facility” instead of as a “specialist” even if it’s just regular telehealth therapy sessions so that results in a… much much higher price for the patient and, unfortunately, if you’re not well-versed in insurance/premiums verbiage, you could easily miss this as it’s not something they’re forthcoming about. And then once you get hit with a surprising large bill, they call you about 1-3 times per day to “remind you” of your balance. Really unfortunately how the back-office runs because it seems the therapists are good. Hope they improve in the future.

If I could leave no stars I would. Their billing department is terrible, front desk is also terrible, my original therapist left the practice last year and they had me on hold until they found a new therapist for me. My… new therapist was great though and I feel I made great progress working with her. However, I opted to stop treatment because their billing department kept charging me lump sums due to having two insurances at one point before my primary insurance took over. Due to this, I ended up being charged for all of the therapy sessions I had while in transition for my primary insurance taking over. I have not used this practice and their services since August of last year and I recived a statement today charging me for services from last year. How does that even make sense? Not to mention that, initially, after my last session I made sure I didn't have a balance, and that I had paid off any previous balances. Their billing department are vultures, and they go out of their way to create stressful situations for their patients. I read a review stating that their front desk spam calls patients every day to create appointments if they had not done so (whether as a new patient or as an established patient at the time of their previous appointment), and I can attest that this is true, and predatory. This practice does not have the best interest of their patient at heart, and neither do their billing department, that for whatever reason, never answer the phone when these situations arise.

I’ve had a lot of therapists in my life but no one has been better than Riana. She did my intake and was so awesome and luckily I got her assigned as my therapist. In the past almost two years I feel like I’ve become a… different person thanks to her. Riana seriously is the best therapist I’ve ever had (and trust me, I’ve had many) and because of our combined work, I’ve been able to kick a lot of bad habits and continue to better myself. I hope everyone who searches for therapy gets the opportunity to have a Riana.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Riana Melillo. I worked with her for about a year and a half, and she was truly everything I needed at every stage of my journey. Riana taught me practical tools to handle the… challenges in my life and help me see things in ways I never had before. When I felt stuck or unsure that I could move forward, she encouraged me and helped me find the strength to do so. She is incredibly easy to talk to, and I always felt genuine care, understanding, and support from her. Riana has made the biggest difference in my life, and I feel so blessed to have worked with her. I honestly never thought I could find this level of contentment in my life, and I will always be grateful for the impact she has had on me.

ive honestly been hesitant to write a review for this place because i hate confrontation but i genuinly had the worst experience here and i want to steer people clear from this place if i can. i dont want to name my… therapist directly but i have never had such a bad experience with a therapist before. at first i really liked my therapist, but i noticed she would say things that would stick with me and make me upset. just for an example, almost every session she would tell me to get more help, and consider an IOP program which is completley valid to reccomend but i shut it down every time because i did not and do not think i am in the place where i need an IOP program. I am someone who has willingly went to an IOP program in the past too, so I am familiar with what to expect, and have done it on my own terms. so I did not think thats what I needed at that point in time. Regaurdless of me telling her that one, my insurance doesnt even cover it, and two I do not think i need to go, she would contiuously tell me to think about it and reccomend IOP and other therapy places. the last straw for me was that she threatend to refer me out. her exact words were "and if i have to refer you out, I will." it made me feel like she was mad at me or something and didnt want to be my therapist. for reference, I am someone struggling with OCD and greif at the moment and we were working on my OCD. I had only been with her for about 3 months and was seeing a bit of progress slowly, so threatening to refer me out is wild to me. i just feel like a therapist threatening to refer someone out is really weird in general. anyway, we booked our next couple appointments and moved on and i decided during the time between appointments that i wanted to see a new therapist and try my shot at a better experience. a couple days later I get a call from my therapist telling me that the new therapist I requested is not accepting new patients and that unfortunetly she spoke with her supervisor about me and decided that i cannot come back to ANY of thier locations or see ANY of their therapists until i get extra help at an IOP. look, i clearly have stuff going on an thats why I am in therapy, but I am not in a spot where i need something as intense as IOP. she also pressured me and asked me why I wanted to stop seeing her and said she wished we could have talked about it and it made me feel extremely uncomfortable, guilty, and cornered. I was really upset and literally shaking after the call. I have never been turned away from an entire practice before and nothing like this experience has ever happened to me. keep in mind, i told her before that my insurance does NOT cover IOP even if it was something I thought I needed. the craziest part to me is that everything was fine and we were going to continue our sessions as normal UNTIL i requested someone else. I genuinly think she got offended that i tried to see a different therapist, hense the uncomfortable call and nailing me with a "what happened????". i feel like she took the offense personally and decided to talk with her supervisor to get me booted out of the entire practice since she knew i could not literally go to any IOP near me. i feel extremley betrayed by this therapist and practice and I hope that the supervisor sees this because this was a genuine mess. I genuinly hope anyone who is considering coming to this practice thinks again and tries somewhere else because this takes the cake on the worst expierence i have ever had. I have since gotten a new therapist, and I told them my experience here and they are shocked keep apologizing for the expierence i went through with this practice. They were genuinly suprised at how this practice treated me and promised they would never treat me the same way. I will 100% be telling all of my friends and family NOT to come to this practice. I legit had to have a therapy session about this therapy place.

I have never been here or any office affiliated with them. I called back in May for information and never received anything until June. Never followed up, but as you can see, they call me almost every single day. Upon… talking to the front desk woman yesterday she stated that she can’t take me off any list without my birth and further information, absolutely ridiculous and predatory. why would you need my information to stop calling me? scam!!

I cannot recommend the team here. From the intake team, to the front desk, to billing and the therapists - the best experience!! Shoutout to my therapist, Ashley Ramos. I came after I had lost my job and needed to get… unstuck from that loss. The intake takes a little patience - which is unlike most practices. After calling, intake will schedule you for an intake/matching evaluation. It takes them about two weeks to match you with a therapist the practice feels will be most suitable and compatible for you. Goodbye better help! Hello positive reset. I have had a great schedule and peace of mind since joining and can’t imagine going anywhere else. If you are going through a hard time in life, give this practice a call. They know what they are doing and are incredibly compassionate, kind, lovely. Saving our honor in Jersey! Love this practice and had to come onboard to give my two cents.

I deleted and edited my original review because the communication from the front desk been horrible for months. I have experienced so many issues with trying to reach the front desk because they outsourced most of the… phone services. The phone service has been horrible at getting my messages to my care team or don't transfer me correctly. I had to call multiple times in order to get someone on the phone that could get my messages to my care team. I am honestly disappointed and disgusted with how this place is ran. The only reason I an staying a client is because of Nicholas Desisto. On another note I give Nick 5 stars. I repeat he is the only reason I remain with this company !!! Nicholas Desisto is an amazing therapist. He is very professional and has a great personality. He helps find solutions to issues that come up. He is very easy to talk and can be humorous at the appropriate times. He is LGBTQIA+ ally with no judgment. He is easy to get in touch with via email. He responds in a timely manner. I gave up trying to get my messages to him through front desk because of the phone services and front desk issues.

I am truly thankful for my therapist, Chanel Borduin. I had really bad anxiety about the idea of therapy, but she has helped me work through that anxiety and it helped me open up. She is amazing at her job, I am so very thankful.

She is solid and makes me very comfortable. I tend to talk alot and with her I’m able to get it all out. I’m always relieved , reassured and at ease after our session. Thankyou Chanel hopefully you can one day see this. YOU ARE THE BEST!! Hands down!!!!! I’m very much appreciative of her!!!
