Cumberland County Guidance Center – Millville Detox and Rehab Services
What Cumberland County Guidance Center – Millville offers, on record, is partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Structured outpatient runs to a schedule while people return home in the evening. A proper assessment sets the level rather than leaving it to guesswork, and it is worth asking for one explicitly.
Co-occurring mental health conditions are addressed alongside substance use, which is the approach the evidence supports. Ask what a typical week involves before committing, since the schedule determines whether the program is workable alongside work or family.

Just called looking for support for ADHD and was told they don’t treat ADHD. Just feel like it’s hard to get low income good support
As a former client I would say stay away from this place. There is no care there is nothing more then a charge to your insurance for absolutely nothing. This type of place is why people do believe therapy is useless
This place is an absolute joke. Absolutely unhelpful, uncaring, and very unorganized.
Medication management by Sauda is awful. Doesnt listen to you and thinks she knows better than you do about your own mental health and body and how medications affect you. You are not me. You don't get to say things… like that. You can have an opinion, and thats all. Dangerous practice. If you value your mental health don't go here.
All doctors staff good people who want to help people better they lives
They made me sick
This was my second go around with this place. I have PTSD, Severe Anxiety and depression. And I have to agree the intake women are great especially the one I spoke with today but the so called “Doctor” idk I can’t even… pronounce her name is very unprofessional, disrespectful, and doesn’t listen and completely disregards what your telling her. She basically told me to withdraw from my medication I’m on that she won’t prescribe it which I explained would cause me to go into withdraw and could hurt me she didn’t care…sounds like grounds of patient neglect to me. She wants to shove pills down my throat that don’t know if they are gonna work and then I asked if these meds give me complications are you gonna put me out of work because dealing with those 3 things in a stressful workplace and not having the right meds isn’t gonna work I’ll wind up quitting my job. She proceeded to tell me NO. So you want to take me off a medication I’ve been taking a long time which I was ok with trying something new but not help me if the meds don’t work. So I’d be stuck no help and no job! And what Psychiatrist YELLS at someone with mental issues and is there for help! This place is a damn joke and the so called Doctors need to be reevaluated!
Wonderful help!
Goodmorning this is walmart, how may I direct your call?
Hello everyone. If you are in crisis, do NOT call them. They are very rude and unprofessional. You'll have better luck calling Walmart's customer service. They are a pathetic excuse for a mental health center.
Intake nurses extremely helpful caring professional. Nurse practitioner that they refer to as "Doctor" is extremely disrespectful uncaring and honestly I think borderlines on professional neglect. Once I brought these… complaints to the guidance center attention the guidance center immediately cut off all contact with me even though they assured me that they would help me and they would get me a different health care professional.
Worst place ever. I have a service animal that obviously comes with me everywhere because I need him. I was denied services because of my service dog Tre and not having paperwork. What paperwork ? Service animals DO NOT… come with paperwork I know the laws because I have to. They tried to tell me that it is the law that he has to have paperwork or I could not come there. I asked them where they got their information from and I would like to see where it states that that is the law. Obviously they could not provide it to me. Like no kidding. Meanwhile I asked if my therapist could come to the front desk because she would surely stick up for me and have my back. She is my therapist she would help me. Boy was I wrong! She said nothing and when she did speak she just stuck up for this lady. I wish I got her name but I didn't. Honestly if you guys are going to be like this about my service dog a medical necessity, I don't even want to come here. They discriminated against me and Tre, why would I even want to see someone who is arguing with me about something you are so wrong about. Service animals do not come with paperwork oeriod. And then I hear them talking about me and my boy laughing and carrying on like I'm some kind of joke to them. I'm here to get help and they act like this.... Yeah no thanks I wouldn't even send my dog to you guys. Carrying on and acting the way you did. So unprofessional on so many levels. I have contacted the DOJ. These are the worst people ever. You do not want them helping you or a loved one when they act in this manner. Talking and laughing about clients to each other. I think they are in the wrong business. Very unprofessional. Please go somewhere else. I still can't believe I was treated so poorly. Scary. I was about to trust these ppl with my life! Denied help because they discriminated against me and Tre. What a horrid experience for sure. Save your time and money and get a real therapist, someone who isn't going to belittle you!!! Someone who actually wants to help you along the way. Build you up. I barely walked in the door and this is how I was treated. Very sad. I will find somewhere else to go. Somewhere where they know the laws and have respect for their clients. Somewhere where I am valued and will be talked to with dignity and respect because what I just came from was exactly where I thought I was again walking into this office today. A horrid flashback. What a terrible traumatizing experience. Hopefully I can help one person out and convince them they are worth so much more than what these ppl will treat you like!!!!
Really helped get meds right n therapy. Had lots of problems n when everyone else kicked me out or gave up they took me as a patient. Also was in a horrible situations with lies being used against me for months, court n… this the only place that got all the papers i needed n saved me from having a permanent guardianship. Also after being told for years I can’t handle 99% of work/ more then few hours a week n should be on welfare rest of my life I said I was so miserable sick of being dirt poor they told me work as many hours I get like I used to n it feels good having bread something to keep me busy n not do bad n everything else got better. They treat all mental disorders and are clozapine certified low reviews AINT right sound like people who demanding everything or rude/psychotic coming from experience in health care
I Think This Place Has Rude Secretary staffing taryɓ
This place is a joke and should be shut down. They continue to prescribe medications that make people symptoms worse. No one returns your calls so don’t bother leaving a message
Your life has no value to anyone here. Knowing that when I really need help...feels "great".
Monday I call and leave two messages saying I’m severely depressed and want to make an appointment with a psychiatrist. No return call, Tuesday no return call. I left a message with Elizabeth the CEO. Then I get a call… back from the intake person, I tell her I want to make an appointment with a psychiatrist. I tell her what insurance I have and ask her if they accept that. She tells me with the worst I hate my job attitude : “ just for medication.” I don’t know what she’s talking about and I tell her that . She repeats “just for medication not for therapy.” I still don’t know what she means. I ask her again what she means? Finally I gathered that I am covered to see a psychiatrist which is what I asked . Then she tells me there’s a waiting list and she’ll call me the following Monday to schedule . Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday goes by. I call back. She tells me she didn’t say she would call Monday but the Monday when there’s an opening. Then she tells me they have walk-in appointments every Wednesday at 8:30. If I would have known that I would have gone in the previous week instead of having to wait again until next week. I call Elizabeth the CEO again and asked her to call me back . She never does . Another facilitator calls me back. She’s nice and apologetic but when I tell her what transpired and that someone should look into it I know nothing will be done and the next poor soul who calls this place will have to deal with this same person who really should be working in McDonalds and not be the conduit between desperate people like myself and the center. Instead of getting the help I could have gotten in two days I’ll be going into my third week. Take this as a warning.
Bottom basement counseling!
As it stands as of 04/05/2022....This place is a revolving door of employees. I would get used to having to explain yourself over and over again with each new therapist or psychiatrist. If you have Anxiety, Depression,… or Bipolar, this place is for you. If you are struggling with ADHD or even suspect you might be wired this way, AVOID this place. I was asked to explain Executive Dysfunction, hyperfocusing, and task paralysis to my therapist. When I defined what adhd symptoms I was struggling with and with examples she kept insisting it was anxiety not ADHD. When I pressed over 4 times to please explain what I am anxious of, she deflected. She insisted on telling me how she thought I felt vs actually dealing with how I felt and what I'm struggling with. After failing to tell me how and why I was anxious enough that she believed all my problems were because of anxiety she wanted to push for anxiety medication. Im incredibly hesitant on any meds especially unnecessary ones. Apparently I have anxiety so pernicious that it cannot be explained and I need medication for it. My partner strongly disagreed with her as well. There were moments that felt like she was the one having a therapy session... even my partner said "are you the client or therapist." And to boot i was struggling with Three very common symptoms of ADHD and its like the therapists and physchiatrist were dealing with a unicorn. I was told by this new 2nd psychiatrist after 15 minutes that I do not have ADHD like the psychiatrist prior diagnosed me with because I never took "the test". PSA THERE IS NO SINGLE TEST LIKE A BLOOD TEST to diagnose ADHD. Its primarily just an accurate History. Feel like i'm spending most of my time having to validate myself because of their gaslighting. I was also told anxiety disorder is not "the overwhelmingly irrational intensity feeling of worry or fearfulness" and that anxiety...not adhd...was why I have trouble studying for my Nursing license. When pressed to explain themselves, they could not, but wanted to recommend anxiety medication for an anxiety disorder that is not present. Unprofessional. You can get better help from a self-help book.
One of your existing patients has been trying to call and schedule an appointment for weeks now (I’ve been assisting them). The phone prompt says to call between 10-3 but nobody ever answers. We’ve left several messages… with callback info and nobody calls us back. It’s been at least a week since we last left a message… Still no response. What an absolutely shameful way to treat patients who urgently need mental health services. Do better.
Are not compassionate, have their own agenda even if it isn't the best for the patient.
Very busy office hard to get an appointment but competent and knowledgeable staff.
They give up when things get tough...
Somethings wrong with the automated menu when you call, I’m in dire need of help and can’t even get ahold of anybody because I can’t hear the options on the menu😒🙄
