If you are trying to get your life sorted out, you can count truly count on every single person in this building. From the lovely michelle who greets you when you first come in to the therapist Frank Healy, who radiates… with postive energy to last but not least Dr.Mark who genuinely cares and you can feel that as soon as you speak with him. If you truly want to change things around this is the place for it! God bless 🙏🏽

Waste of my time

Excellent and caring team! Dr. Mark really knows his stuff and is in high demand but if you have to wait it is really worth it. My care there has made a huge, positive difference in my life.

Rude on the phone, wait way too long, and to make matters worse, Dr. Mark cares more about his female friend waiting for him to get done. We felt very hurried and will be looking for a more empathetic Doctor. Do not… recommend.

As a student currently studying for their higher education in psych, I find this place to be absolutely appalling. If you open up about any type of addiction, you either A- need to do whatever they want, or say. Fulfill… anything they request of you, even if you openly went to the therapist you were meeting with in regards to your struggles.. If you don't decide to be their lap dog, you can choose option B- discharge. Don't fall into this rabbit hole of money they're seeking. Any mental health facility that is truly concerned about you, your well being, and mental health would not discharge you because you choose not to move forward with their money sucking programs.

I have been going to family matter for a few months my therapist and my doctor are amazing the staff is really awesome and nice and they talk to you like a regular person would and they actually care about you hands… down better then anywhere in capemay county I suggest giving it a try 😊 ☺️

I spent months looking for a facility that was willing to help my teenage daughter with depression. Either they wouldn't accept my insurance or they did not work with her age group. I didn't know what to expect when I… called Families Matter, but was so pleasantly surprised from my first phone call we were treated with genuine kindness and concern for my need to find treatment. We met with Mark, and over the past few months he has literally changed my daughters life. During our very first visit Mark listened, observed, and took her situation seriously. We were so desperate for help and scared that we would never find it, my daughter had begun to feel hopeless. When Mark told her he would take her under his wing and guide her while we started our long road to living a life without depression, I literally watched the weight of the world release from her shoulders, finally knowing she found the right place for her. Since then, I have watched my daughter slowing return to me, learning how to live, love, smile, and eventually laugh again. Yesterday, she sent me a text.... "I finally remember what happiness feels like". Thank you to the entire staff of Families Matter!!!!

Wow. This group is amazing. Mark Zappone’s knowledge of psychotherapy really adds to his ability to help with the right medicines. Frank was super caring, helpful, and insightful. The whole experience was fantastic,… exactly when I needed it. .

Terrible place. The staff is disorganized and they dont care about the patients. The counselor I had was rude and helped me in no way and cancelled on me repeatedly and got mad when I missed on appointment!!!

Honestly I am absolutely appalled by this "business." I've been brought in, sent home, brought in, saw someone needs else, sent home, brought in only for paperwork, sent home. If you are going to have only ONE licensed… psychiatrist, give your patients fair warning that it will be months before you get to see him. Suicide ratings are increasing every day and you really just pushed me off the phone to leave another voice mail to another department. You should be disgusted with yourselves.

It’s all about money with these people They truly don’t care about you it’s just about the money with the Upper management and counselor’s They will treat you like a criminal and won’t believe a word you tell them!!… They treat you like everything you tell them is a lie because other people have lied to them in the past so everyone is treated like criminal and liar.. They will evaluate you and make you out to be someone your not so they can push unnecessary treatment plans on you to Pay more money into there scam... And if you tell th that you have no money and you are on Medicade and Medicade will pay 100% of your treatment plan WATCH OUT you are going to be told that you need extensive treatment over several hours,days,weeks,months... The State of New Jersey should come up with a better system to help people..TOTAL GOVERNMENT INSURANCE SCAM by Family Matters...There name should be Money Matters!!!!! BUYER BEWARE....GO somewhere else explore your options before you go here!!!
