Clear Minds Coaching and – Norwalk Address, Location and Contact Information
The facility address is 4 East Seminary Street, Norwalk, Ohio, 44857. The city lies within Huron County. The catchment reaches beyond the city itself. Journey time and parking are not trivial details when treatment runs several times a week over months.

Wonderful local option. Local owners are so committed to their clients and the community!
"Drug counselor" had me read out of a packet for an hour during our sessions, packet was about how to get sober when I had already been sober for 2 years. When I told him this was irrelevant to me he said I could apply… it to other things in my life. How do you apply how to get sober to other things in your life? My mental health counselor wrote that I said I thought about suicide daily in my discharge paperwork and I never said that. In fact, I said I wasn't suicidal every time I met with her. Kicked me out for being 15 minutes late when I had to drive an hour and a half to get there. The counselors here are terrible and the service as a whole is terrible. 0/10 do not recommend. I had multiple clean drug screens until your counselor had me start reading out of a packet to try to keep me sober. I had been clean for 2 years up until that point. I told both him and my PO that reading out of a Smart Recovery packet for an hour a week was not helping me at all and I was told "that's the program" LUCKILY I did not relapse on my drug of choice, which is fentanyl because I would have certainly overdosed and died, but if reading out of a packet is how you think you are going to help people stay sober you need to seriously rethink your "program" All I ever did was read out of the packet and he asked me if I had any triggers. We never made a relapse prevention plan or talked about coping skills if I did have a trigger or refusal skills or anything like that. I shouldn't have to tell you how to run your program, but those are things that addicts need to practice and that's what I was lacking when the time came for me to use them. I happen to have my LCDC III so I have higher credentials than my counselor did, but I tried not to be biased, but him or you or whoever is having people read out of a Smart Recovery packet for an hour long session is wasting their time. Especially because I had already been sober for 2 years when I started counseling there. I shouldn't have even been in drug counseling in the first place, but I was never given an assessment to determine what level of care I should be in or if I even needed counseling. Not to mention, I was given no option to do my drug counseling over zoom eventhough I lived an hour and a half away. So, I was basically driving an hour and a half every week to read a packet for an hour and take a drug screen, which I was already taking at TASC anyway. Most of the time I was testing at TASC right before I came there so it made no sense for me to text twice in one day. It was a complete waste of time for me and I am so pissed off that my mental health counselor would write on my discharge papers that I said I thought about suicide every day because she asked me every time I talked to her if I was suicidal and I always said no, even when I had horrible things going on in my life so I feel so betrayed by her. Also, I don't understand how I tested positive for you guys when I was negative for TASC on Tuesday 8/6, negative at the hospital on Wednesday 8/7, and then all the sudden I was positive on Thursday 8/8. I was in the hospital until I had to leave to go to counseling and I know that because it was my son's birthday and I picked him up and we went to Longhorn and Goofy Golf afterwards. Oh, and I didn't miss my last appointment, I was 15 minutes late and was told that they didn't have time to have it even though they leave me sitting in the waiting room for 10-15 minutes every week anyway and I had just driven from an hour and a half away and had come from an appointment in bowling green with social security because they cut my SSI from 994 to 245 and then I had to stop in Fremont to drug test for TASC then drive an hour and a half to get there to read to Nate out of a packet for an hour. They didn't take that into consideration at all, so I got kicked out and now I have a probation violation, so thank you so much. I truly appreciate everything you guys did for me.
A very positive experience! Completely satisfied with the services and professionalism of the counselors here. Highly recommend. Best counseling place I've ever been too. 10 stars review.
Really? I had to cancel an appt because of a medical crisis and was inevitably admitted to a hospital. Your office threatened to make me pay $50 for a no show fee (which with state insurance isn't even legal) then asked… for a Drs note explaining the reason I was sick? Talk about HIPPA ethics. What am I 12? Horrible. Wouldn't recommend you to someone laying in desperation. No way. Less than one star.
They make me feel at home, I've tried a handful of therapists and caseworkers in the area and so far this place is the best.
I'll admit I haven't been here in a while, and that's entirely because I didn't feel comfortable with my counselor. She constantly disagreed with me whenever I brought up the issues I had at work and when I said that I… felt like I deserved a higher wage, she went on a wild tangent about how if people at McDonalds had a living wage, a Big Mac would cost $20. Guess what, Patty? People at McDonalds still don't have a living wage, and a Big Mac costs $20 anyway. Edit: what an utterly laughable response. This is how patients are treated here. There is not a single good mental health professional in all of Norwalk.
lol it was fun while i went i dont anymore bc i moved but its a good place
I am not the one to ever leave bad reviews for businesss but I feel as if my experience has been bad enough that it needed to be shared. I will start off by saying my actual therapist was amazing. But the front desk… staff are highly rude and unprofessional. I had gotten an email this week stating they needed to reschedule my appointment on Wednesday. So I went ahead and called to reschedule on Tuesday. They told me Monday would be my appointment. Well I get a call tonight, it’s Thursday, saying I am late to my appointment. I double check both my calendars and even when I texted my boyfriend about the time and date. All three of them said Monday at 5. I told the front desk lady and she told me there was nothing they could do and they would still be charging me the $50.00. If I were to make a mistake about my appointment then I totally understand paying the fee. But for a mistake that was not mine I will not be paying. I even went in and asked to speak with a supervisor or someone in charge and the front desk lady said no and that maybe they would give me a call. I will not be returning to this place. I am so upset with the treatment I have had by the front desk lady.
Didn't feel bad till they got uppity with the $50 fees. Sorry, your going to bleed your customer base over it.
Friendly and professional. Nice that it's a locally owned and has evening hours.
They keep sending me a bill from 3 years ago that was paid they were worthless didn't know what they were doing when I went to counseling they were new the credit card machine wouldn't even work when I 1st got there And… I believe their son was there also and as weird that they had toys in the room that I was in
Called this place to set up an appointment. Due to my profession, it is hard to schedule. We couldn't find a time that worked for both of us. I thanked the receptionist for trying and said I'll go elsewhere. Now the… keep calling me asking if I'm interested in their services. Like a cold call from a salesperson. No, i don't want your services, quit calling me
Completely unprofessional..took my son and Completely got treated bad...then told them that I didn't need certain services and was being pushed to continue. When I called to cancel Completely was asked why I was… canceling the appointment I gave them an answer and was told they need more information. If I cancel then I cancel it is not up for discussion. John Chime should not be practicing. Dealt with him at family life and won't do it again ever!!!!
Had one session for my child. Went well with therapist. Had an appt scheduled for an assessment to see if my child needs anything for well being. I was not able to make this and called to possibly reschedule due to not… being able to make the certain time. Receptionist is very rude and the first thing she told me was they would be billing me a $50 fee. No other options besides a zoom call. We have only been with these people for 4 days and if that's the professionalism they have to offer we definitely will seek services elsewhere. It's a shame because my child did enjoy talking to the therapist and was excited for the next appointment. Obviously I chose the wrong place when finding a therapist!
Completely unprofessional, the receptionist even huffs and puffs in your ear, and sounds horribly bothered that you called to schedule an appointment, then they changed my appointment. Told me it was on a different day… then it was. The therapist didn’t even tell the receptionist she had rescheduled, and it goes on and on, up to the point where they told me they were going to charge me for canceling the appointment when it was 24 hrs in advance. They’re a bunch of screwballs and I would not let them assess my child if they were the last hope. Wouldn’t be worth it
Unprofessional. Was referred to this place through EAP was excited to get the ball rolling and immediately called to get an appointment scheduled and was rudely informed they are currently not accepting EAP. I was… confused why I had just got off the phone with the EAP rep and why they wouldnt mention that and the receptionist stated I needed to call and inform EAP they no longer accepted EAP.
Very professional, and many new services coming to the Norwalk area.
The so called counselor and support staff are not even qualified to be counselors. They have no degrees. The one counselor who dealt with my daughter is a year out of prison and never allowed to drive again because of… her past drinking. But still she still makes a false report to the court because she like I said is not qualified to be a counselor. Dont make the same mistake and go to this place. They are unqualified!!!
