What Valley Health Services – Youngstown offers, on record, is intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Structured outpatient runs to a schedule while people return home in the evening. The right level of care is a clinical judgement rather than a preference, and an assessment should produce a defined answer.

Valley Health Services – Youngstown Address, Location and Contact Information
4970 Belmont Avenue, Youngstown, Ohio, 44505 is the address held. This address falls in Mahoning County. People travel in from the surrounding area, and confirming the route beforehand saves difficulty. Public transport, parking and the length of the journey all affect whether someone completes a course of treatment, and they are worth settling before the first appointment rather than after.
A quick call before you go will settle directions, parking and what to expect first time. Remote appointments may be possible where travel is a barrier. If the first call does not reach anyone, try again at a different time of day rather than assuming the service is closed.

Didn't do a single thing to help me out went through a few "therapist" whom just dont care they wear a mask of concern but when it comes to actually stepping up to the plate and doing their jobs they will sweep you… under the rug and forget all about you. Do Not Recommend! Landon this is for you and the lady who has a egotistical problem bc her piece of paper title she worked so hard to achieve holds no real value or real experience. Stay away from here they only want to shove medication down your throat and pat themselves on the back for masking the root of your problems.
Excellent staff!! I love Jamie she really listens and is very knowledgeable with my condition. I highly reccomend!
I have had very understanding staff, the services are very helpful in sustaining my stability with mental health. Highly recommended. So blessed to be a client
Amazing ppl, staff, all the above!! 1st time in 30yrs I feel seen, heard, and feel safe. (Plus they don't look at me like I have 6 heads) Love them ALL!!! Especially my 2 favorite ppl soooo nice and what a blessing… finally found the rt. Place to go!!! Thank you ❤️ Belmont office
They suck but they get 5 stars because they do an excellent job also. However there's this lady named taylor who won't stop and give me one of her pens, instead she gave me her crappiest pen and I nearly cried. So now… I'm penless and sad.
Been going since 6 had ups n downs but finally found my people!
Half a str after years between Belmont and Warren. Serious concerns . Do not contact me . My communicating with this system stops for good with this reviews end .
Although I’m not always consistent, they always are, I get all my appointment reminders in a timely fashion, Jaime is amazing very knowledgeable welcoming and straightforward she is amazing; ))
My family has been using their services for around 20 years on and off, and everyone has been very kind. I only had one problem with a new Dr years ago and I believe he is no longer there. Other than that, I praise that… place for getting my family through some really hard times!
I found the right place for my mental health care my therapist Phyllis and my nurse practitioner Chrissy are very nice and caring! The receptionists are nice too! They let me bring my comfort blanket too! Would… recommend this place to anyone who needs mental health care!
I’ve been going to VHS for several years now. It’s been a wonderful experience and the recent changes have made it amazing. Jaime Fazzone Joseph Young and Taylor are the absolute best. I can’t recommend them enough.
I have been a patient since 2013 and now I can’t get any help from the nursing staff. They let you run out of your meds and don’t care if you are even on the right ones. Horrible excuse for the mental health help for… our area.
I was told but my online psychologist that if I needed a increase in my medicine to see a doctor in person, boy did I choose the wrong place, soon as I even started to bring up a increase I seen the judgement in the… doctors eyes. God forbid I take a medicine that literally changed my life & when I ask for a increase I get treated like I'm nothing, I told the doctor this one medications helps my bipolar, panic attacks, anxiety, eat, it helps EVERYTHING but getting my thru the whole day because my dose is so low. The doctor said she couldn't up my dose with no reason other then she lied because the doctor online said there are different guidelines And to get an increase I need to see a doctor in person and I was treated like a junky Had I seen the bad reviews I would've stayed as far away from this judgemental place as possible. I have severe agraphobia, this medicine has changed my life I gotta job after YEARS of not working because I would cry on the way to work I take 1mg in the morning it's out my system by evening I finally found a god job & my life has changed but now I was treated like nobody I'm gonna end up loosing my job and when I told her that she laughed Stay FAR away from this place in my opinion when a medicine WORKS, for EVERYTHING YOU THINK THEY WOULD STICK WITH IT WOW SUCH ROTTON PEOPLE I got up & left she says thanks for wasting my time They're put you on antipsychotics, antidepressants which are WAY worse & more dangerous then a benzo but they're quick to wanna give you that tho. I ended up in the hospital a few times because those medications make my symptoms 3 X as bad. When I was younger I was on 2Mg Klonopin It WORKED THE WHOLE DAY I ask for an increase & get treated like trash Unbelievable I been hiding in my house for YEARS because of my agraphobia & panic attacks Klonopin finally got me up again Talking to people and a great paying job But I come home meds ware off & I'm back to praying it's morning just so I make it thru because I don't sleep at night I have a rapid fast metabolism after my surgery What 35 year old man weighs 120? But again I found some thinf I been on before that HELPS more then anything & they act like they can't prescribe it They literally are ruining my life treating me this way Where are the professionals at ? Not here that's for sure
I miss Dr vk but I'm beginning to like Dr h. The whole staff is great and very sweet and helpful.
Hi I had a wonderful experience with the therapist Cheryl very kind considerate and honest! I know the dr Cortney and Diane they are both awesome! Will be worth your time!
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! In the past 3 weeks, I ended up in ER twice. The second time I was kept overnight. Over-medicated which lowered my sodium to dangerous levels!! Could not get in touch with anyone there.… Receptionist was snappy and told me to call back and press option 3 and leave message. I left 3 - all were unanswered. When I finally got nurse, I was told nurse practitioner was off and to go to emergency room if I needed help 🤬. Doctor at hospital was shocked at the amount of meds I was taking for only going there for 4 months.
I have been a patient with them for 5 years. In those years I have had 4 different provider's but was never notified about the change. Twice I had appointments scheduled and when I showed up was told i would be… contacted on a later date to reschedule for another appointment without refilling my medicine. UPDATE! THEY SOON CALLED ME TO TAKE CARE OF MY MEDICINE FOR THE INTERIM. I'M VERY HAPPY WITH THE STAFF. THEY STEPPED UP TO THE PLATE. THANKS VALLEY COUNSELING!
Now that Dr. VK has retired, this place is absolutely worthless. Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy. Dr. VK was kind, caring and an amazing doctor that I first met at the age of twelve. I've since been seeing her… regularly since 2008, until she retired in June. They now have a physician assistant who in spending less than 5 minutes with me changed all of the medications that have been helping not only my depression and anxiety but my SOBRIETY for 15 years. I am now in an extremely bad place and have no idea what to do or where to go from here. I went back for a 2nd appt. to tell him this wasn't working and was met again with an arrogant man-child physician assistant who couldn't be more than 27 years old and doesn't care in the least about his patients. His nurse is just awful too. I wish Dr. VK the very best in her retirement. She will be sadly missed.
2 months in a row my appointment has either been counseled or miss written down. Dr Vinci Khoury has been my Dr for almost 25 years. She has pulled me through alot of terrible situations. I sure do miss her since her… retirement. This place seems like it really went downhill. Idk if they are switching hands in office wise or what. Now they tell me my appointment is for late September. How do you let a patient go 6 months without getting meds,or waiting for nurse to call them in. It's sad they don't care about their patients anymore. But I do wish Dr Vinci the best in retirement n God Bless her.
Been going here since 2013. Dr V K was the best. My counselor is amazing. As are the case managers. Recently I had a breakdown and I called there for help. The front desk was amazing at trying to calm me. They… transferred me over to the nurse who criticized me and told me that I didn't need one of my meds because I didn't have a job and I had no business crying over it. My new nurse practitioner is refusing to prescribe my medicine due to some issues there and because she was on vacation leaving me without my meds for at least a week. I'll be searching for a new practice to go to due to the way they handled this situation. I can no longer trust them with my care.
I’ve been going here since I was 15yrs old and I still see the same counselor; she helped mold me into the woman I am today.
I find my Counselor very well informed, competent and very nice. I like Kathleen a lot. She helped on the first visit.
Slowest place ever. My kid literally misses a whole day of school just to be seen for 15 minutes. Staff is rude and you are waiting atleast 1hr after you arrive for your appointment to be seen.
Dr. Khourys the best doctor Ive ever had. Her no nonsense personality and hard nose beliefs are paramount in this industry. She stands up to family and freinds if she feels your interest isnt looked after properly. This… is the only doctor Ive ever trusted 100%.
I'm currently going there. The doctor seems to understand my situation and offered me a few different options. They don't rush you. Counciling is helpful to. Everyone can benefit from their services.
I have a family member who was a client for about a year and a half. Her counselor retired recently and she was referred to another counselor. When she arrived for her first visit, in distress due to a recent life… event, she was told her appointment was cancelled because that counselor resigned. They informed her that a supervisor was to have called her to let her know. No one had contacted her. In addition, she was told that she only had one more choice for counselor because she has insurance. However, she is not comfortable with that counselor. It’s RIDICULOUS that you have to see a certain counselor because you have PRIVATE insurance. You’re still getting paid! In addition, my sister also had an appointment with the nurse practitioner, who is also leaving to work someplace else, on same day at a different office. She was told when she got there that she didn’t have an appointment, however she had it recorded. The nurse practitioner was there, and my sister was obviously on the verge of crisis, but she did not offer to see her. It literally would have taken 5-10 minutes for her to see my sister. What is wrong with you people? Ten minutes would have been too much time to take to help someone in crisis? What, you won’t do it because you can’t count it towards your productivity??? My sister had already lost two counselors and was about to lose a nurse practitioner within about a month and a half. Your agency does a GREAT job at perpetuating mental health issues to ensure job security. You just can’t seem to keep your counselors. If I could have given you negative stars I would.
