I don't do reviews, but i would feel guilty if I didn't say how great my counselor Brett was. Also the event coordinator John really brings something amazing to the table. Him and Brett’s counseling groups are… interactive and informative. The events are also top tier, considering what Johnny has to work with. Also Gabe that does peer support and everything else in that facility works his ass off to make sure everyone’s needs are met, clients and staff.

I came to New Day at my lowest. I didn't go because I made the decision myself, but because I had nowhere else to go. The night before I went to detox, I slept in a porta potty in Cleveland. But going to New Day was the… best decision I've ever made. I went through every level of care they offer from detox all the way to sober living and after care. While I had a few hiccups in my recovery journey, I can now proudly say I have 34 months sober. New Day gives you every tool and opportunity you need to turn your life around. I was treated extremely poorly there and went with my boyfriend because they told us they took couples and it was terrible. I do not recommend if youre coming with a significant other you will have no contact and be… treated poorly.

Had great experiences the first time. Lord have mercy on me for relapsing tho. This time I called and was transferred to PHP where a know-it-all would not give me the time of day. While trying to explain my… circumstances I couldn’t even finish a sentence without being cut off and scoffed at. He pushed me right off the phone and left me feeling like shit and a little more hopeless as I desperately seek help while i sit in a town Ive never been, on a bench I dont know, in a neighborhood that is likely dangerous. Approximately a year and a half ago I walked through the doors of New Day. I was beat down, broken, and unsure if recovery was even possible for me. Beyond hopeless I was. For years I was in and out of rehabs and the… rooms of recovery. For years I consistently struggled with opiate and cocaine addiction.
