ETHOS Treatment – West Chester Reviews and Ratings
What is ETHOS Treatment like for patients? Reviews in this section, from RehabSeekers and from around the web, describe the program in the words of patients and families who know it.
Supporting someone starting their treatment journey was incredibly seamless when working with the Ethos team. I would highly recommend Sam and the entire group at Ethos.
Wonderful place. If you need good care, give them a call.
Ethos Treatment is a terrible organization. They promise regular family counseling, group therapy & one on one counseling. Our pastor recommended this location, unfortunately, & we were very unhappy. The therapist… initially assigned went out on maternity leave. The next therapist started & left quickly. The last therapist was not communicative. Despite all the promises & our follow-up, Ethos never provided any family therapy. Our son was only seen one on one with a therapist one time over multiple months. The group sessions were chaotic with the therapist completely unable to control the discussion. Our son left with a new network of illegal substance connections & no help / therapy. Ethos also refused to waive outstanding balance based on our horrible experience (receiving only 1/3 of the promised care & even that was awful) claiming it is illegal to do so. I work in a role that regularly deals with medical billing & can confidently say they are lying. The owner of Ethos has been contacted numerous times by our family support specialist regarding these issues with ZERO response. DO NOT trust your mental health / substance abuse treatment to Ethos. They do not keep their promises, are only interested in getting paid for subpar "treatment" & are extremely unresponsive. There are FAR MORE reputable & responsive companies in Chester County. I cannot stress enough how horrible Ethos is as an organization. If I could give them 0 stars, I would
I had an ok experience, While my therapist wanted to help as best he could, he would just send me promotions and articles. He tried his best and I am thankful for that
Everyone I’ve worked with is first class. Ethos is an integral part of my recovery team!
It would be hard to overstate the positive impact that the Ethos West Chester family has had on my recovery and my family's well-being. Admitting I was an alcoholic as a middle-aged :) man with a family and career was… terrifying. From my first IOP meeting, my welcoming and respectful Ethos therapist helped me become part of a recovery family and displace shame with pride. His knowledge and guidance were so important to my early sobriety. Long after completing my IOP, I continue to value weekly meetings with my GOP group. This is a family I love and trust as we help each other grow in our sobriety and deal with life as it comes, with the guidance of our exceptional therapist, her clinical expertise and practical experience. For me, continued therapy at Ethos has been an excellent complement to my growth in 12-step work. My wife has been able to build her own recovery family in the Family Group on Wednesday nights with Pat. This is an incredible resource, as our loved ones also need community and professional guidance as they learn about our addiction, start to heal themselves and handle life (we are a lot to deal with!). As a customer, my family has been treated with respect and care by everyone from founders to interns and billing staff. As a client, my treatment experience with Ethos continues to be life changing.
The program & staff were great. They are well educated, supportive & compassionate. I would love to have continued with the program, however, they do not accept Medicare. It's a shame that so many recovery-related… services do not take Medicare...older folks fight addiction too!
Ethos Treatment is an outstanding organization and partner. Their administrative staff make the process seamless and are always responsive and helpful in guiding the members we serve to the right care. Their clinical… team is compassionate, professional, and genuinely dedicated to helping people. As a fellow professional, I would not hesitate to refer a friend or family member to Ethos as I have complete confidence in what they stand for and the care they provide.
There is not a better place to get healthy. I’m a better person because of Ethos. Michael
Ethos West Chester is truly one of the most well-rounded and clinically strong teams I’ve had the pleasure of working with as a referral source. Every clinician brings something unique to the table, and together they… create a program that is thoughtful, effective, and genuinely client-centered. Dave Meyer runs the mental health IOP and brings a calm, steady presence that helps clients feel grounded and supported. Alex Frazier leads the evening mental health IOP and creates a space where clients can dig deep while still feeling safe and understood. Allyson Andrisani runs the men’s only substance use disorder group, and her ability to connect while holding strong clinical boundaries makes a real impact. Cait Kish runs the women’s only SUD group and brings warmth, empathy, and empowerment to the work she does. Eric Tankle facilitates the daytime SUD group and brings energy, insight, and a deep commitment to helping clients navigate recovery. Grace Massimino runs the adolescent IOP and does an amazing job engaging teens and their families with compassion and patience. Pat Brown, the clinical supervisor, also leads the family support group—an incredibly valuable resource for families trying to support loved ones in treatment. And of course, Michael Blanche, co-founder of Ethos, continues to be a trusted presence and visionary in the behavioral health space. His influence is felt throughout the West Chester office and beyond. I’ve referred clients and families to Ethos West Chester with full confidence, and the feedback is always outstanding. This team truly cares and shows up for their clients every single day. A top-tier resource for both mental health and substance use treatment.
