Abilene Betty Hardwick – Abilene Detox and Rehab Services
Abilene Betty Hardwick – Abilene is listed as running intensive outpatient and outpatient care. The structured element runs during the day and people go home afterwards. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.

Although all staff aren’t the easiest to work with, at a mental health facility, I still give them a 5 star review because the dr I see, Mrs. Roberts and Dr. Young are absolutely amazing and that’s what matters to me!… My case manager, Ms. Roberts is also amazing and easy to work with!
Don't go there. They don't help at all. They will say your faking or putting on an act. I have all the paperwork and prove that I need to be in a group home or SSLC . And they don't want to help me at all. I eat cereal… 7 days a week. I can't understand anything. These people think it's funny. I wonder off. I'm autistic adult and my IQ is 69. All they can say is we can't help you. Even my family doctor has asked why I don't have a full time caregiver or in a home. It pisses me off and gets me more depressed because of it. I'm not going to stop fighting I need IDD services. Need to be into a group home. I found more records but they are saying it's not there job it get the records. Even though the place in Pennsylvania is telling me that IDD services has to request the records. For someone that doesn't fully believe paperwork or fully understand how to care for himself. That is autistic adult level 2. These people later see me suffer then help is bull shit. There should be more the one place in Abilene Texas to get iff service. And now there tells me to go back to where I come from. No them saying I'm not IDD I lost my disability check. And now homeless again
Thank u Aimee Ingabire for your amazazing saport. You have helped me in a dark moment in my life n I appreciate you help.your a beautiful woman of god.
I had no problem with my doctor whatsoever.. It's the customer service I received on my phone. She had a very abrupt and very bad attitude.\n She didn't leave me a proper message when she left one. So I had to call her… in regards to it. I wouldn't have had to call her if I would have gotten the proper information on the phone.\n When I did contact her, she had a very cold attitude ... made it sound like it was a problem for her to help... Her name is evelyn graham... If I give respect , I expect to get respect and there was none there
Shoddy workrrd
Great service and great
It is a very clean and professional company They do not leave their Clients without The help that they need. The class program from San Angelo just literally took and took and No help. The leadership is honest m Thank u.
never in my life has someone with such an important job so things so poorly.
They are miracle workers
Fire your receptionist. It doesn't matter how good your providers are if your phone line is rude every time and repeatedly provides incorrect appointment information. This pattern of laziness is inconsiderate of… people's time, energy, and mental health. Awful person. Keeping this employee despite so many similar reviews is a CHOICE and irresponsible as a business.
My son stated he had thoughts of self harm they sent him away to call someone off a list ... what could have happened if we had not cought it in time. Rush might as well told him just do it away from here.
I just went through an issue here but I won't get into the details of it all but I will say I was very unhappy. I'd reviewed and rated at a 1 ⭐ but I'm back to revise that. I have been pretty happy with my services at… BH before this incident. The staff is usually really nice and helpful. Mistakes happen and I get that but sometimes we have to speak up. Really speak up. And I found out today that Theresa McBride is an amazing advocate for the patients here. You can't attack these wonderful people that are trying to help if you want help but they definitely understand frustration, just direct it correctly and they will share your frustrations and help you fight for the help you need. Thank you Theresa McBride and BH. I hope to raise the ⭐'s rating but we're on the way up!
I've never gone to this place. But my son has and they go through people like nothing. But I don't understand what's going on with these people. My son needs help
I've had the best experience with Betty Hardwick Center. They truly want to help any way they can. The receptionist, techs, nurses, case managers, and psychiatrists are all wonderful! I went in on a Monday to do intake… and that Wednesday was my first appointment. Couldn't ask for any better!!
Well the girl up front was rude. They said they would pay for my meds for 7 days until the first of the month. I have refill on my bottles they won't let me have my meds. I suffer with Combat related PTSD. I need my… meds. I have bad nightmares and recently started having bad flashbacks. I wake up in the yard sometimes screaming. The caseworkers are not genuine about how they say they care because they don't. Every month I run out of my meds before my scheduled appointment because they say call on a certain date to schedule an appointment so I would not run out of my meds. Well Every single time they give me an appointment two weeks out and I run out anyway. Then the so called doctors or practices refuse to give refills until they see you and I always end up back into this vicious cycle of depression and horror. They don't care at all. And they constantly pass the buck so to speak and don't admit that they dropped the ball. I talked to my caseworker Kate, and she only wanted to cover their butt and not accept any responsibility on the way they screwed up. I have been out of my meds foe a week. They refused to help me and basically told me I was out of luck. Now I am suffering because of their incompetence. I would not recommend coming here. Now I got to go back inpatient to fix everything all over again. This has been nothing but a constant nightmare.
They care n they help with anything
They are assuming i just want disability ive had mental health problems all my life and before refused help cuz I wanted to work now that my health is worse and i have a child im trying my hardest to stay afoot and get… disability not only to help me but to also make sure i get the help i need to take care of my kid ...i still want to work they all need to relearn what they are there for this isnt highschool and we judge people how about doing some research before judging people! Hate this place !
I had a great experience...staff was great!! 👍 to REBEKA...🐸
Amazing place. The people here are very compassionate and knowledgeable. Not in a great place currently with my mental and physical health currently and was recommended this place by a family member. I came here with no… expectations and left with a plan and meds that hopefully will help. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs help with their mental health.
Dont have sympathy towards people, only listen to lies, never had been treated with no rights before. Tell me I dont smile, the 5 women I seen getting medical did not smile. Said the name typed on reports WERE eltrontic… signed, not a one was signed. I never went before a judge, no attorney was given to me, never spoke to anyone. They just locked me up 45 days when by law its 72 hours the judge can order longer stay. THIS NEVER HAPPENED. I was discharged 2 times and on 1 person GF ESTES words and lies i was locked up 3 times. My insurance was fraud coz there was no proof. $60,000. To my insurance paid for lies. VG
I do not remember the name of the girls that drove around the hotel that I was staying at until I purchased my new house but they both were so sweet and generous. They gave me a and something to drink Betty hard work.… You guys have some very good volunteers please make sure they are acknowledged thank you ladies. I really appreciate y’all.
Don't feel like I'm getting any better... I still feel the mental and physical issues are there... nothing is changing... I want to get better for my family. This is such a hard battle
I made a big mistake with Betty Hardwick. I trusted them. I have always kept things close to the vest. But I promised my adult children that I would put forth my best effort. So I followed along and did as I was told. I… also opened up against my instincts to do so. At first, everything was okay. My caseworker came by weekly. As I progressed, she came by every two weeks. This continued for approximately 4 months give or take. While at Disability For Action, I was asked how I was doing on my prescribed medications. I answered honestly. The assistant gave me a list of 3 prescriptions to ask P.A. Creech about. Which I did at my appointment in December. Her reply was, "There are people out there a lot worse off than you. Maybe you should go back to work." This despite numerous other psychiatrists and specialists saying otherwise. After that day, my caseworker gradually disappeared. By a month later, she was inaccessible. Five months went by before I received a text asking if she could come by. During which time, I went through some tough spots. I told her no. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I'm a quick learner. Do not open up to these people. They only pretend to care. They didn't get such a low rating by accident. They earned it.
They are a joke. You can never get ahold of anyone. You call and get no one, you have to leave a message and nobody ever returns your call. You're running in circles.Just trying to get something accomplished with them.… And then they can't help you.
Wow! Definitely new staff and new case workers! Clinic runs fast and the nurses are so kind. Huge turn around and a haven in the community. 💪
They provide many helpful services, especially the caseworker Danielle R. She has met my needs and a great representation of "going the extra mile", if you do your part in the program.
Refused to see me. Told me to come back next week. It's next week and they refused to see me. Seems like they just enjoy messing with people who they're supposed to help.
