HSA Port Arthur – Port Arthur Detox and Rehab Services
HSA Port Arthur – Port Arthur is recorded as offering partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. A proper assessment sets the level rather than leaving it to guesswork, and it is worth asking for one explicitly.
Co-occurring mental health conditions are addressed alongside substance use, which is the approach the evidence supports. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

HSA Port Arthur – Port Arthur Address, Location and Contact Information
The site is at 2555 Jimmy Johnson Boulevard in Port Arthur, Texas, 77640. Jefferson County covers this area. Provision extends to the wider area, so check the journey before you set off. Journey time and parking are not trivial details when treatment runs several times a week over months.
A quick call before you go will settle directions, parking and what to expect first time. Where travel is difficult, ask whether an initial appointment can be held remotely. Reception hours vary, so a call that goes unanswered once is worth repeating rather than treating as a dead end.

HSA Port Arthur – Port Arthur Reviews and Ratings
For a view of HSA Port Arthur beyond its license and service list, read the reviews in this section. Patients and families use them to describe the admissions process, the staff and the day-to-day running of the program.
Horrible, terrible service, the staff is awful, the treatment of patients is the worst. If you have the opportunity to go somewhere better, go there. My son was there and it was the worst experience I've ever had. They… treat you horribly. Don't go there, the staff is terrible, not friendly or professional at all. I was hospitalized for a week. The rooms aren't cleaned, they don't collect the trash, the doctors are nowhere to be seen, and even if you ask to see a doctor, they don't pay any attention to you. The nurses are bitter and bored, they don't help you or listen to you. It's the worst. THEY SHOULD CLOSE THAT HORRID HOSPITAL.
This is an excellent hospital. They took care of my husband extremely well. They go out of their way to help you in any way possible
Let me say I’ve had some issues and been taken to both Baptist and Christus St Elizabeth and neither hospital could start to find out what was wrong with me. A week ago at church I had another episode and passed out. I… was taken to the medical center and there Dr Thome my cardiologist working with Dr Latuso at the medical center worked diligently to find out what was happening. I could not be more pleased with the quality of care that I received at the medical center. I did have an issue where a nurse acted unprofessional and the medical center bent over backwards to address the issue and have it corrected. I give the medical center 10 stars and St E 1 1/2 stars and Baptist -1 star Good job Medical Center, Dr Thome, and Dr Latuso
The service was really bad.
Horrible experience with scheduling, I believe her name was Felicia. I ended up scheduling in Beaumont instead.
Don't come here unless you are willing to gamble with your life.
I am totally pleased with the care I received yesterday for pre-surgery testing and the actual day surgery today. Dr. Stephanie Cunningham, (my surgeon), along with both her office clinic staff and team in "Day Surgery"… were most informative, kind and caring, which helped my "nerves" a lot. To name a few staff by name who were/are wonderful, in her clinic are April, Kim and Joan. To name a few folks who were wonderful in "Day Surgery" today (in addition to Dr. Cunningham), my nurses Donna and Makayla, anesthesiologist Dr. Woo and his assistant "Hi" and additional surgical staff. I would highly recommend this hospital for day surgery, as well as their ER (that I used in March '25).
So I rushed my fiance in yesterday he was sweating pale chest pain his left arm was numb and the ER was not concerned about his heart rate being in the thirties and forties so today the doctor comes in and literally… looks at my fiance and said I haven't had time to read your chart and your heart rate being in the thirties and forties isn't concerning he sat there and told the patient I haven't had time to look at your chart but you're fine I can't believe this he was in and out of it and the ER tells everyone his just falling asleep
For the most part it's a good place. Except for the cafeteria. They seem unable to understand the term pescetarian. And still insist on adding meat or gravy or broth other than seafood I'm not sure if it is intended or… lack of understanding.
Would NOT recommend. Giving one star just so I could leave a review. Family member got discharged from hospital in the same condition they were in when they were sent to the ER. Then was put on the fourth floor for 24… hour observation. What treatment the family member did recieve, was actually already being done at home. We were hoping more was to be done, but the "doctor" said no, just continue same care at home. Family member is 85 years old and bed ridden, they were sent home with low hemoglobin, high pulse rate, low sodium, severe nausea, UTI (they did send antibiotics home for that, and had some IV antibiotics). Discharged under the diagnosis of UTI. They went in for a more serious condition, that was never resolved by the on staff doctor. Already was on medication for UTI and had just started that medication. The US Healthcare System is a joke. Again, would NOT recommend. 0 Stars if I could.
This is the worst hospital in the area. DO NOT COME HERE. Unless you're dying and plan on not being taken care of. Countless times I have come here and been treated like I was the issue. Constantly ignored by all staff… with abysmal wait times. I repeat, DO NOT COME HERE.
My nephew was here for chest pains, with blood pressure 165 over 105 .. in the fast track place he had an iv and was freezing, shivering, teeth chattering and they denied him a blanket .. why ?? Keep it so cold.… Patients are already in pain, uncomfortable and a simple warm blanket brings comfort .. please enlighten us on this policy...
Staff withholds meds from patients.👎👎
I wanted to start by saying this first. I didn't have the highest of expectations for this hospital. My mother was sent there in a life -threatening state at that time. With prayer, this hospital was a great choice… after all of my concerns. The staff takes great care of my mother, too! I can't say enough great things about Dr.Elweanor, l called her Dr.E for short. This doctor went above and beyond. How do you say? Her wonderful bedside manner, her caring and concerned spirit and most of all, she has empathy for the patients and their family members within that hospital!!! She is an asset to making this hospital a great place for all your medical care and well-being. Thanks again for a job well done, and most of all, thanks for taking care of my mother.
I would love to thank Dr Mennie and every nurse that helped us deliver and care for my baby boy Malikai at this hospital! We where treated more then well and could tell the nurses are doing what they love to do, I don’t… think I would’ve gotten the same care anywhere else and I’m blessed to have ended up coming here!
Literally the worst hospital I've ever been in. I'm pretty sure I got worse being admitted. Which was a joke anyways. Started in ER. The most I spoke to any employeewas the check in ladies at ER. That was the only… positive thing I remember. Checked on @4:35 ish on Monday. In an ER room with no restroom or did anyone ask if I needed any water or food. Was told I was admitted and had no I dea why. Finally got into a room@6:30. Still have not seen a Dr. Not told any reason why I was admitted. Every time I ask about my current prescribed meds nurse had to call np for approval. Apparently in the entire hospital. There is only 1 np and 1 dr. This cannot be safe, legal,or fair,to anyone in that building.after another whole day of me wasting in bed I'm told the np changed my meds and included a bloodthinner since I was in ed.again never properly explained.even after 4 hour wait time for every question we had. Meds were given without gloves. Blood was drawn on tendons. OUCH. Finally 6:30 the only Dr in the hospital.comes in and she actually has some common sense. She ask the nurse.why she wasn't called and why am I admitted? She's like Icamt do nothing for her. Discharge her Praise the Lord. Also talks wer had with charge nurse. She got things rolling. Our nurses would not give us our ct or MRI records for my neurologist oncologist.eho wanted to know why I couldn't have my records and be discharged.i am very sad and disappointed that the honor and integrity and the lack of basic simple human dignity. I experience in this hospital.this is criminal. Google reviews are hard but if we don't do them nothing will change. We need change. Do better or close shop. Neglegince is coming. Some one is going to die...for what?
It's the worst hospital in the city of port Arthur Texas, went by ambulance with in fatal back pain was transferred from the gurney to a wheelchair and pushed into a waiting room, they pushed me there and that was it,I… had to crawl myself to the restroom from there kept telling them I'm hurting the response is we talking the doctor every time, arrived at 3 left @6 still didn't see no doctor
Miranda the charge nurse in the ER is amazinggggg! She deserves a raise! Definitely went out of her way to help me with an issue at hand. She resolved the issue quickly and efficiently! 10 stars for Miranda!
This is the worst hospital in the area, unless you or a loved one plan on dying. And then in that case, be prepared for the nurses and site manager to be completely without empathy or show any kind of respect and… compassion. The ICU nurses are trash, specifically the male nurse who’s name started with a B and has neck tattoos and a nose ring and another one who’s name I did not get but she was a young Asian girl who has maybe been a nurse for a year. They are both disrespectful and should be removed from the ICU unit. Jill, who I believe, is the site manager is also disrespectful and rude. If you can make it to Beaumont, I highly recommended it. I would not even rate this place a 1.
The staff are very professional. I Felt comfortable there.
Horrible experience.
So my husband rushed me in on Christmas eve (because it was faster than 911), and luckily a nurse met us at drop off. I was wheeled to front desk and instantly taken back and cared for. This hospital has always been my… first choice but now they definitely always will be. Definitely nurse Stacy went above and beyond for me, checking back in every 10- 15 mins once I was stable, she even called into my job for me! The staff definitely went above and beyond
