Sea Mar Behavioral Health – Everett Detox and Rehab Services

Sea Mar Behavioral Health – Everett is listed as running intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. A proper assessment sets the level rather than leaving it to guesswork, and it is worth asking for one explicitly.

The listing records a single focus rather than combined treatment, so anyone needing both should confirm what is available. Ask what a typical week involves before committing, since the schedule determines whether the program is workable alongside work or family.

The site is at 5007 Claremont Way in Everett, Washington, 98203. This address falls in Snohomish County. People travel in from the surrounding area, and confirming the route beforehand saves difficulty. The women who are therapists here seem to have a habit of making excuses for women who are abusive in their relationships, and Elodia would consistently glare at me when ever I would I be sitting in the foyer waiting… for my appointment. This is interesting because this happened after she was my therapist for a very brief window before I decided to discontinue care with her for a number of reasons. I think you can understand why I decided to discontinue care with her.

It's not completely seamars fault when Google gives the wrong hours of operation. Went into the Google listing and have tried to fix it myself, so that no one else gets as confused.

2 days in a row I was harassed by an individual that works for Sea mar. And I confronted him and some older bald head guy decided he wanted to join this childish game and he too was very unprofessional. Basically I… would not recommend anybody come to this place all it seems to be is a unprofessional childish games and they like to harass people for no reason other than for personal pleasure. I did nothing to this guy he took it upon himself to bother me 2 days in a row because I was parked in a motorhome legally on the street near sea mar. They must not have anything better to do like work or anything I don't know what they get paid to do here but obviously they don't have work. They like to find other stuff to occupy their time like harassing people for their personal pleasure.. They have no respect for Veterans nor for the wounded. They both are a disgrace.. A total waste of air.

Front desk receptionist are so rude!!! How they still have jobs are crazy hire people who are willing to help not be rude and get an attic when you ask for information. Simply sad I feel sorry for the people that call… the Everett location because whoever is answering the phones are rude and don’t help

Can't make appointments, they only do walk in's. We were there 15mins before they open with only 2 other people waiting and were told to try again next week. Apparently they only had 2 doctors and 2 appointments… available for the entire day. Incredibly frustrating and completely defeats the purpose of seeking help, to be turned away week after week.

It’s extremely hard to get an appointment here. The earliest appointments they have are 9am and latest are 4pm, Monday through Friday. In what world does that work for people with jobs? The only reason for two stars is… the clinician that helped me during my intake assessment was caring and compassionate. The rest of the staff is as caring as emergency room staff when you’re having a mental health crisis (iykyk). Stay clear of this place.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE WASTES THEIR TIME!!! Absolutely outrageous!! I have called Tuesday-Thursday at 9 and 11am never a spot. This has been going on for 2 weeks. The majority of the time the worker “ counselors “… are out sick. REALLY??? I agree why is this place even allowed to be open? They are doing the bare minimum and probably funded by the government. When someone is desperately trying to get help this is the help we get?? Thank you. I will be taking this to the next level. Also tried to talk with the supervisor or manager they are out also when I ask. SHEESH!!!!

I called countless times and left voicemails with zero return calls. Why are mental health facilities like this allowed to exist? It’s clear as day that they are manipulating the system and providing the bare minimum to… stay open and profitable. Read all the reviews. Don’t waste your time with this place. But good luck on your search to a brighter mental state:)

Was released from a behavioral health clinic and was told to go to sea mar. After being told they wouldn’t take my state insurance I was told to pay a sliding scale. I went to my first appointment at the Everett… location. The staff was rude which is normal for these kinds of places. They took down all my info and set me up for another appointment. The next appoint was my first therapy appointment which the therapist asked me basic questions. The next appointment I was scheduled they canceled the appointment saying I had to wait another 2 weeks… after that I was able to get on a zoom meeting (which is really uncomfortable when discussing personal matters.) after on an off changing and cancellations of my appointments I went off my medications. They also only have one prescriber and I was able to set up an appointment after 2 months. Any ways the staff is really rude and disrespectful and manipulative to not only me but to my mother. I’m pretty sure they broke the terms of the ROI (request of information) because the were talking about my appointments to my mother who wasn’t on the ROI.

WOW. Dr. Lovell (psychiatrist) is absolutely AMAZING! In the first 5 minutesof my mental health evaluation (done via video chat) he had already determined that I no longer needed ADHD medication that has proven to work… well for me for 2 years and of which I have NEVER abused. I mean that's pretty amazing that he could make that determination in 5 minutes . After all.. I've only lived in this body for 48 years and dealt with biased and bipolar for as long as I can remember. And nevermind that I have been clean since being on adhd. Meds and suboxone. And if that's not wnough... this intelligent, educated doctor decided that instead of starting a new mood stabilizer he would put me back in the mood stabilizer that I was on for 3 years that stopped taking because it quit working for me. (As do most mood stabilizers and antidepressants do in my case after 3 to 5 years). And heres the best part. He completed his assessment in just 54 minutes and having asked 7 questions. KUDOS dr. LOVELL. I'm not sure why I even needed to be present for this evaluation given that you didnt seem to believe much of what I was telling you with regards to both the adhd medication and the fact that lomotrigine stopped being effective. #mentalhealthcrisis

Don't bother going to intake. My partner is disabled and can't use a phone. She also has multiple mental health diagnoses. I contacted them about this and was told they'd do intake in person. We went down there for… intake and were told they'd do registration for her so that we could call back the next day and do a two hour phone call. I explained the problem with that. They did not care and were unwilling to accommodate her in any way. Next time you come across a homeless person with severe mental health problems that hasn't bathed and is eating out of the garbage, this is why. Those that need help the most simply aren't helped.

All the bad reviews are actually right. The ladies at the front desk are no help and always give the wrong times for your appointments. I only had 3 sessions of therapy there because it was clearly not helping me.

Elanora prikhodko filled out abunch of answers in my assessment wrong. She included in there I struggled with housing due to my drug record! I've never had 1 drug charge.....then their prescriber "barb" told me I had… bipolar and I was taking the wrong medication for weeks until I new something was wrong because I was braking down crying all the time WHEN ITS IN MY CHART I HAVE PTSD AND THEY EVEN PUT IT IN MY ASSESSMENT!...I got switched to 3 different counselors because they all kept quitting AND THE HISPANIC GIRLS AT THE FRONT DESK ARE NOT ONLY RUDE AND BARELY SPOKE ENGLISH BUT CONSTANTLY GOT MY APPOINTMENT TIMES MIXED UP! SEAMAR IS THE WORST PLACE EVER ESPECIALLY FOR PEOPLE GOING THROUGH A HARD TIME

I don't know why someone in the billing department can't print off a BILL and mail it to a patient. Like, do you want to get paid? I can't get you paid until you print off a bill. I've talked to three different people… and each say they don't have a way of printing off a statement to show the charges on the account. Like, what? Every time I call it's like talking to a brick wall. Get services elsewhere.

The front desk staff has no apparent customer service training. Any complaint you have expect to be transferred immediately to a voicemail rather than someone that answers. Staff that hang up on you or transfer calls… randomly, without notice, are not good to have answering your phones. Easy conversations and easy resolutions instead escalated to manager for absolutely no real reason.

★★★★★

i have absolutely zero complaints. I see a medication doc and I do counseling here for my anxiety and depression. They are so friendly, caring and actually listen! The counselor I see actually listens to me, and has… helped me tremendously with tips and tricks for Anxiety. The reception staff are wonderful. The waiting room is always clean. And it's spread out enough to where you aren't uncomfortably sitting next to a stranger.
