Drug and Alcohol Treatment Services – Everett Detox and Rehab Services

Drug and Alcohol Treatment Services – Everett carries a listing for detox, residential treatment and intensive outpatient. Detox runs under medical supervision, and the first three days carry the highest risk with alcohol and benzodiazepines. The structured element runs during the day and people go home afterwards. Which of these is appropriate depends on an assessment, not on what sounds manageable at the time.

Only one side is on record here, so ask directly if both are needed. Medication-assisted treatment combines approved medication with counseling and clinical review. Ask directly about session times and frequency, as those details decide whether someone can realistically attend.

Received an assessment from an ELDERLY man, who said he came out of retirement to do this and he likes to do things the right way.... This wasn't who I was told was seeing, or who is on any of the paperwork they sent me… home with? He started the assessment on his lunch break even kept my pee by his lunchbox. All the questions were quick and vague, and he was putting words in my mouth or not letting me fully answer the question. He also made it seem as if he didn't believe me when I talked about MY medical history. Whole experience was uncomfortable, not pleasant, and judgy

I was in detox in February and had such a kind experience with all the staff and the detox itself. I unfortunately relapsed and will likely go back, but everyone who works here is so kind and doesn’t treat you like a… junkie. I spoke with an intake coordinator this morning named Casey (or Kasey, not sure) and she was very kind and took down all my information and is trying to get me a bed date. Detox sucks, but to be in a safe place with kind staff makes all the difference. I now believe in myself and my sobriety thanks to their help.

I would give this place zero stars but I have to do at least one to post this, I wanted to share that my dad got checked into Providence detox center on December 2nd and died on December 7th in their care. They were… giving him medications he shouldn’t have been taking and not taking care of him how they should have. They rarely checked on him and didn’t give him the help he needed. My dad went there to get better and the help he needed but the doctors failed him, I didn’t get to say goodbye to my dad because of this place.

This was my second time using their services in a year, I discharged 2 days ago but needed to write a review to thank them so much. Both times, they did everything they could to make my stay as comfortable as possible.… Even going beyond just alcohol detox to discuss how to lower my high BP along with the meds I take. They all truly seem to care about their jobs and their patients. There is always food and coffee on the kitchen, a TV room and it's super quiet all the time. Only downside is no smoking or going outside but that's not their fault. They give you a 21mg nicotine patch and 2mg nicorette gum so you'll be alright lol. 10 out of 10. Thank you all. :)

Great doctors, super nursing staff. All in all there is no better place for a fresh start. Everyone seems to care and do their job very well. I can say I don't who what I would have done without them.

If you're struggling with opiates, this is the place to go. The staff is amazing and the process is as close to pain free as I've ever experienced. They made sure I was comfortable the entire time, and were so… encouraging. Great place. I give it 99.9 out of 100 only because they kept running out of turkey sammiches in the snack room.

Seriously... Stay Away from this place. My daughter was heavily sedated... The min they got her here. She wanted help. They strapped her and molested her !! And assaulted her while they over dosed her. She ran out of… there with her garbs they make you wear and wouldn't let her have her belongings. And then said she was making this up. No . My daughter is straight up . She wanted to come here . She traveled far. She wouldn't even go back to get her belongings.. because she was in fear of them. Please Do Not used this facility. Contact me if you have any similar incidents. Thank you so obviously they just sedate you . Make you sleep. This is a crazy weird place. Stay away ! What kind of Place molest you while your strapped down .

My experience was pleasant and comfortable. I was on opiates off and on for about 2 years. I quit a few times on my own with Suboxone but wasn't using very much at first either. I did not experience any withdrawals when… I was under their care at Providence. They hit on all the withdrawal receptors using mostly benzo's. I slept mostly all day throughout the first 2 days in a quiet setting. I would recommend Providence for detox and also 2 very close friends of mine would as they went there too and had nothing but great things to say about their care. It seems like the negative reviews are based on the setting and environment in the facility and not the actual medical care and treatment provided if you ask me. They are there to help ease opiate withdrawals and get patients started on Suboxone. I don't believe they are getting paid to be on the entertainment committee. Just saying.👍👍👍👍

Idk detox sucks cuz it's just the way it is but it's true-life and so sad that the epidemic of addiction is such a plague that it's hard to not be just another face.. They do the best they can for what it is. Idk it's… actually luctuary compared to where a person cud have to detox. This fentynal is just the strait devil and so it's a different kind of hell....I just hope this time I can stay sober .

Rudest nurses in the detox wing. Received 2 phone calls that I missed, tried calling back, and the nurse refused to help me and then hung up on me.

It was ok. Food was extremely carb loaded, so for people who require more protein, it’s pretty tough. I ended up literally living on plain cooked vegetables or iceberg lettuce salads and cheese sticks for 5 days… straight. Took 3 days for the Dr to order me a low carb diet so I could actually get some normal foods. Was very irritating. But hey, they did explain that it’s common for detoxing to crave lots of carbs, so I understand they kind of had that menu for the average detoxer. Therapy groups were pretty non existent. No outside access, no fresh air at all. That alone was the most difficult thing for me! No TV, only kid friendly DVDs to prevent any triggers. No books except for a few random things other left. Basically you go there to detox but they expect you to just sleep 24/7? It’s a combination of mental hospital and detox center. So not great for people who just need detox to be stuck with a screaming roommate. Yeah, I walked 10 miles a day around those halls, sometimes more. I had bad blisters within 48 hrs cuz you get really cheap sandals. I lost 10 lbs though in 5 days!! Hey, maybe I should go back and stay a month. Weight loss clinic!

There were different (often contradictory) messages coming from a variety of sources. I felt left in the dark about my own treatment. Beds are incredibly uncomfortable, food is mostly carbs, and the doctor was absent… most of the time. If you want to be treated as a real person - choose a different Detox facility.

This place was amazing. I recently spent 3 days here detoxing from alcohol. I've done this before at other places, so I can say this was my best experience yet. Staff is very knowledgeable, and attentive. They only give… medication based on your symptoms at the time. They won't over medicate you. The place was clean, the food was good, lot's of options. I left feeling rested and rejuvenated - ready to put my life back in order.

The staff was lame and the head guy was a jerk. All they did was keel me high and hardly checked on me. The nurses were rarely at the nurses station. The were back in the employee break room watching movies. When my… wife called nobody ever answered. I will never go back there!

Counslors and nurses are extremely kind. I slept thru most my withdrawl with very little discomfort. The detox meds were just right, no hangover. Clean rooms so the food was my only complaint, a lil bla. Detox made easy… but realized aftercare is very important. If you need to detox, this is the place to be. Felt safe

This detox program was a joke. My girlfriend repeatedly called asking for information on how I was doing and was greeted by a voice-mail everytime which she left messages on and never received a call until I physically… had to go to the head of detox and have her call. When she finally did call she completely gave her the wrong doses of medications I was being given and was extremely rude. The nurses half of the time are just floats so they do not even work in the detox unit so 90% of what I would ask them they had absolutely no clue what I was even talking about as well as how they talk to you half the time makes you feel worthless. I do not recommend anyone going here to get sober. Yes I got a few days in and I am still clean which I am grateful for but I have been to a few detox centers before and how this one was ran was unbelievably messed up and unorthodox!
