Neighborhood Connections – Yakima

I was told that this place will help for people who are homeless I have tried several times calling and leaving messages. And No reply.

I was seeing a "therapist named jennny, I really needed someone to open up and talk to. Long story short she told me I'm not a acceptable enough person in the eyes of society to work out at the gym. She also agreed with… me I should kill myself and said she understands and basically agrees with the way people miss understand and judge me. I've called several supervisors above her they all denie that she would say things like that and take the stance of me being a lier. I'm getting a for the people probono lawyer to take the case I hope she loses what she worked for and is never allowed to be a therapist again she is going to get someone hurt I almost killed myself over how she made me feel.

My case manager Elizabeth who has black hair she white I believe. Anyway thank you for helping me get into the savoy apartments even though the former savoy apartments manager susan burnaroos demanded me to secretly pay… the $300 non refundable cleaning deposit in cash do the 3 people running the senitar and savoy can pocket the deposit. And if you only live at the savoy for a week or 2, they refuse to refund your remaining rent. I saw that happen and the fact is the senitar and savoy apartments are corrupt and allow people to do drugs in their room which caused my wife susan Clayton brannin to have no choice but to leave. Please warn clients about the filth at the senitar and the savoy apartments Billy

My case manager Elizabeth about 22 years old helped me go from homeless to a temporary place at the savoy br paying my move in expenses as a result, I met and married susan j.cayton who moved into the savoy same day.… It's cut and romantic how her and I met just that God brought us together. Thank you Elizabeth

These guys are still able to come through with hygiene kits for those in need. Thank God!

I moved to Yakima into a clean and sober house about 2 years ago with nothing. Neighborhood Connections has helped me in so many ways. I'm also disabled and have a hard time doing paperwork, making phone calls and… getting signed up for programs I qualify for. They helped to get me moved into my own apartment. They helped me to get a free phone and tablet, helped getting my bills and rent paid, they provide me with the essentials I need, helped me get all the doctor and dentist appointments set up and even helped to guide me through the social security process which I couldn't do on my own. This place is truly amazing. Be patient and make appointments when recommended by the front desk. It's how you get your foot in the door and once you are in they will help to open many more doors for you. Don't give up or miss appointments if you can help it. It's not an easy or quick process for many of these things but if you qualify they will get you the support available to you. They have helped me over the past two years and continue to, to this day.
