How Much Does Treatment at PEER Services Inc – Evanston Cost?

Before insurance, typical prices in Illinois put intensive outpatient at $3,000 to $10,000 a month and standard outpatient care at $1,300 to $5,000 a month. PEER Services Inc’s own fees were not found at the time of writing, so the figures describe the state as a whole.

Programs usually price the intake assessment, group therapy and individual counseling into the fee. If you need a specialized therapy such as EMDR, ask PEER Services Inc whether it is offered and what it costs. A direct call is the quickest way to get an accurate figure.

My experience so far is dreadful. They’re young and inexperienced. I have to go there but the alternatives are worse

Peer Services was truly a life saver for my family member. He had struggled with addiction for many years, in and out of various treatment programs. Peer Service's compassionate staff treated him with dignity and… provided the exact care that he needed. He is now five years sober and lives a happy and full life. Thank you Peer Services!

Many years ago, when my fabulous son was 17, he was a limit-pusher. He limit-pushed over his head, and over my head as a parent. We went to PEER Services, together, and met the most extraordinary person. From the first… moment, the counselor taught us that by treating my son with respect, as a person who was not a boy, but was an adult in the making, he (and I as a dad) could see gain back control and make good decisions. He met with this counselor for two months, discussed the stuff of high school, athletics, alcohol, and other things young adults were asked to make decisions about - and he became, over time, the adult he is today - the founder of a non profit organization working with youth at risk. I cannot begin to thank PEER enough for the path this wonderful person laid out for my son and for me. It is a wonderful, helpful, logical, and compassionate place when you're not sure how to get out of being over your head.

much left to be desired in my time here... if people who are getting medical treatments for a state funded and no charges against private ownership clinics and I have been to a few 80 dollars a week is the price people… choose to leave a free program peer here to pay 400 per month ima private sector clinic... it's a lot if cherry picking by certain staff towards their favorite clients let alone the people who are not give same privileges as a well liked client... it's free and it's after years of needing to be medicated nessecary a leash... 9mg

It's gotten better than what it used to be but there are still many things that need to change. A lot of the clientele are still using. The privacy issues. Safety concerns. The nursing staff is much better now. Good… luck if u have a grievance of ANY kind.

Peer Services offers much-needed drug/alcohol addiction recovery programs and services of all kinds, including individual counseling, support groups, and a methadone clinic. They are a small, nondescript, un-flashy… office in downtown Evanston, IL, a few steps away from both CTA and Metra trains. They accept both court-ordered and voluntary clients with a minimum of red tape-- or at least the client is spared most of the paperwork. Plus, it's a laid-back, friendly atmosphere, not at all intimidating nor marred by judgmental attitude (but don't for a moment take this to mean any sign of unprofessionalism). My only reservation, and this doesn't cause me to knock off a star rating, is that during the methadone clinics the entry area is milling with clients (it's not a large facility) -- which ostensibly might put off some folks but is handled graciously and professionally, and does not interfere with whatever else is going on there. The good people at Peer Services are experienced in addiction issues, are compassionate, bend over backwards for their clients, and know what they're doing.
