About Red Rock Recovery Center – Denver
Red Rock Recovery Center is located at 8805 West 14th Avenue in Denver, within a few minutes of Edgewater and Wheat Ridge. Anyone within about 4 miles can reach it without a major journey, which takes in East Pleasant View, Mountain View, Lakeside and Applewood. Denver sits in Jefferson County, and the county’s own provision is limited enough that this site draws from a wide area.
Red Rock Recovery Center provides partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Medication for opioid dependence is available here alongside talking treatment. Both conditions are worked on in parallel, which is what the evidence supports. Sessions can be held remotely where travel is difficult. Veterans and serving personnel are among the groups served. Red Rock Recovery Center – Denver Reviews and Ratings

Red Rock Recovery Center changed my life. I was admitted into their rehab facility in Morrison in May of 2025. The team there guided, supported and encouraged me in every way I could hope for. Through their programs I… pursued thereafter in Lakewood, I was able to navigate a path forward into a life of sobriety I never thought was possible. I am truly grateful for this program and especially for the community of people that helped me when I needed it most and continue to be a part of my recovery. Please reach out if you are struggling, asking for help is the first step.
Genuinely awful
I highly recommend this team of professionals.
I rarely write reviews, but I feel obligated in this case 'cause RRC saved my life. I've, unfortunately, been to a number of inpatient rehabs. Of all the places I've been my experience at RRRC was the best. Red Rock's… care is superior for a number of reasons. I'm writing this six months after leaving (still sober) so i'll try to mention as many as I can remember. 1) The nursing staff was amazing. So caring. They bend over backwards to get you as comfortable as you can be while still leading you through a successful detox. Extremely patient. Never felt like a number. They looked me in the eye, listened and helped me. 2) The food. Before arriving my diet wasn't great. The chef prepares home cooked meals. It's not cafeteria food. You can tell the chef really cares and takes pride in what they're serving you. Nutrition is extremely important, so to kickstart your reintegration into eating right is huge when first getting sober. This was a godsend. I was grateful for each and every meal. And not only that...the community kitchen is open all day, so you can grab snacks, drinks, make protien shakes etc. 3) The curriculum/therapy. RRRC meets you where you're at. While they certainly promote 12 step programs...they DO NOT proselytize nor present them as the ONLY way by any means. Which is huge. There are a million ways to get and stay sober. RRRC recognizes this and teaches you the things you need to know to help you get and stay that way without falsely preaching that there's only one way to do it. 4) They listen to everyone, but don't put up with silliness. There are a lot of personalities that walk into rehab. Often colorful, always interesting. People conflict in regular everyday life. Rehab...can be a powder keg. The way RRRC dealt with problems, I felt like everyone was listened to and that they always did what was best for the community as a whole. 5) The surroundings. You're in the mountains. Awesome. 6) Facilities. Great gym. Was always comfortable in my room etc. 7) JUST ENOUGH PHONE TIME. Trust me. Not having your phone for certain parts of the day is AMAZING. You start to kinda dread the times you get to have your phone. Sort of. I could go on and on. But i was just impressed by this place. I still talk to 5 people from the crew that was present when i was there and we're all still sober. That's unheard of. But, remember, it's up to you. The only piece of advice I'd give to anyone is to be mindful of the culture you and other patients are cultivating. In close quarter, small group scenarios like rehab ONE person's vibe can change everything. So be the positive tuning fork and you'll be surprised at how good the experience can and will be. Good luck. Getting sober is rough. Until it doesn't. So hang in there (and remember to *lean on* and trust the nursing staff. Oh...and as nice as the nurses are, if you're a jerk...they're a force to be reckoned with. I saw a couple of dudes pop off for no good reason and it didn't end well. Don't mistake their sweetness for weakness hahaha.)
Thank you to the owner of this company for reaching out to me to find out important information that is needed to get my treatment going. Good to know someone cares enough to reach out. Thank you!
I had a mixed experience at this facility. While I cannot give it a five-star review, I also do not believe it deserves a one-star review because I appreciate that the leadership ultimately took my concerns seriously.… Before being admitted, I explained several times that I did not believe an addiction treatment center was the right fit for my needs. I expressed that I was primarily seeking mental health and trauma-focused treatment rather than addiction treatment. I wish my concerns had been listened to more carefully, or that I had at least been referred to a facility better suited to my situation. Instead, I felt encouraged to enter the program despite repeatedly expressing my reservations, and unfortunately, it did not turn out to be the right level of care for me. I also felt limited from participating in several activities because of my visual impairment and autism. While staff explained these decisions were made for my safety, I repeatedly stated that I was comfortable participating, especially with appropriate support or supervision. Those activities would have been beneficial not only for my recovery but also for managing conditions such as autism and ADHD, where regular movement and physical activity are important. Throughout my stay, I tried to speak privately with staff on multiple occasions to explain that I believed a mental health or trauma recovery program would better meet my needs. Unfortunately, I did not feel that my concerns were fully heard or that alternative treatment options were discussed with me. Because of this, I ultimately decided to leave against medical advice. That said, I do want to recognize the facility's leadership. After I shared my concerns, the CEO and co-founder took the time to listen, addressed the issues that mattered most to me, and treated my feedback respectfully. I genuinely appreciate their willingness to hear me out and work toward improving the situation. Overall, I believe there are areas where this facility can improve, particularly in listening to patients' concerns, ensuring they are placed in the most appropriate level of care, and making reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities. I hope my experience helps contribute to those improvements.
Bre my case worker was amazing in finding me help after treatment . The whole staff was caring and understanding during a hard time . So thankful for all them ! !
I went to the IOP program and had a very uplifting experience. Councilors are top notch. I believe this because I have been a part of other programs and the group settings here are all inclusive where I felt everyone… had ample time to express feelings and issues safely. Well run meetings and varied topics. Another wonderful aspect is the on going on line family member meetings where loved ones have great opportunity to share and learn! Also all recovery meetings weekly on line meetings for us as patients/ clients. My own recovery is going well with 70 sober days now giving me a renewed sense of inner peace and joy. God bless.
Red Rock Recovery is so much more than just a detox facility. From the RN's and BHT's , to the administrators and above, have completely changed my life...saved my life. Words cannot express the gratitude that I will… forever have in my heart. I thank you, my wife and children thank you....... Kurt E.
I loved everything thing about this place from the warm welcomes in to the comfort of the care in the nurses. This place is beautiful the groups are ran by amazing staff I will never forget where my life changed for the… better I absolutely love red rocks
I love Red Rock Recovery! The Alumni community led by Cook is very active. There is no shortage of fun Sober activities! Recovery is not boring at this place!
I’ve been to a lot of different treatment centers, sober livings, therapists, etc over the years and now work in the industry myself. I attended the CMHS IOP after struggling with a depressive episode and was super… impressed by the professionalism, organization, and kindness of every staff member I interacted with. Molly Barth is super educated and compassionate. The groups felt very intentional and well-planned. Definitely recommend!
The staff is compassionate, knowledgeable and genuinely committed to helping each person find lasting recovery. From day one you will feel the support and abundance of positivity.
Dan is the best!
Changed my life
I've struggled a few times through the last couple years. Red Rock has been consistent and caring with my recovery. I 100% recommend anyone struggling for the care and focus they provide. Plus the after-program care is… top notch
They definitely are improving the CEO reached out and was very sincere and willing to help thank you
I did not have the best experience here and after posting my review I did get a call from the owner and it was nice to hear there have been many changes since my stay 2 years ago. I know many people who got the help… they needed and enjoyed the small community feel.
