Decade2Connect – Golden

I’ve greatly valued the collaborative care provided by Decade2Connect. As an outpatient prescriber, I’ve had patients participate in their IOP program with excellent outcomes and overwhelmingly positive feedback. Their… emphasis on family support fills a critical gap often missing in other IOPs. I highly recommend Decade2Connect!

As a mental health professional, I can say firsthand how intentional this program is. Lots of experiential activities for kiddos and experienced staff to help facilitate change. Great program!

The therapists at Decade2Connect are skilled, compassionate, and personable - as a fellow clinician, I trust them to work with kids, teens, and families. They emphasize family support in their work with kids, and they… even have a parent night which I’ve heard great things about!

My family came to Decade2Connect at a point when my 10 year old daughter's mental health made it so that she could no longer function at school, with peers, or in society at large. Her team of Psychologists were… discussing whether it was time for hospitalization. I was devastated, depressed, and felt entirely hopeless with no sense of things ever getting better. Steve, Laurel, and the entire team at D2C are nothing short of miracle workers. Never have I experienced the level of a truly judgement-free space that D2C has curated. We never felt the need to apologize or mince words. The staff is so incredibly kind and brilliant, and they set the expectation of this level of care for every person who walks through the door. My daughter had no friends before, and within one week established healthy relationships with the other kids in the program. She has friends now!! Having experience with mental health, my husband and I weren't expecting to get much new insight from the parent group coaching, but that is far from reality. We learned so much from the parent coaching and are better equipped now to support and care for our child. And just as important, we met and bonded with the other parents going through the same or similar challenges. We were no longer alone. Us parents laughed and cried and hugged through the rollercoaster of healing. I believe we grew just as much as our daughter did. I honestly feel that the Decade2Connect team and program saved our daughter's life. Their work is truly transformational.

Last year Decade2Connect hosted a 6 week drop in parent/caregiver support group, and I must say it was one of the best parental support experiences I have ever had! Through the program I learned so many new therapeutic… tools for personal development and parenting my neurodivergent son. I feel that I came in feeling pretty broken BUT after the sessions left with a brand-new perspective and confidence! The facility at Decade2Connect is beautiful and the staff were all really nice and bent over backwards to make sure the group got anything that they needed. I can't wait to go back in the future!
