They played games with me on the UA's and then gaslit me and called me a liar, and refused to acknowledge that they changed up the rules in hindsight on me because they have trust issues or are simply incompetent on the… matter.

There are some great programs out there, but none quite like insight. If you are looking to be seen for who you are, and not just for your insurance, insight recovery is the place for you. Their client-centered mindset… garuntees you won’t slip through the cracks and get lost in the grey. These people will fight for you. They’ll advocate for you. They’ll pick you up and give you the tools to fly. They’re still here for you even when they’re off the clock. I’ve seen them go to great lengths to support so many individuals recoveries. Also they make recovery fun! They give you new ways to think about yourself and the world. As clients, we all become one big family. At the start of your first day, you’ll enter the doors on your own. When you leave, you’ll be leaving as part of a community. Also they have good snacks and they feed you an awesome lunch.

I can’t say enough great things about Insight Services and the amazing team of Liz, Lori, and Mark. From the moment you walk in, you’re met with professionalism, warmth, and a genuine sense of care that sets them apart.… Liz is an absolute gem—her expertise and attention to detail are unmatched. She has a way of making even the most complex situations feel manageable, and her kindness and empathy shine through in every interaction. Lori is another standout. She brings such a calming presence and a wealth of knowledge to the table. Her guidance is always thoughtful, practical, and tailored to your needs. You can tell she truly cares about helping people succeed. Mark’s approach is equally impressive. He’s sharp, insightful, and incredibly effective at getting to the heart of a challenge. His ability to communicate clearly and offer actionable solutions makes such a difference. Together, this team creates an environment where you feel supported, heard, and genuinely cared for. Their combined skill, expertise, and friendliness make them a dream to work with. If you’re looking for a team that delivers results while treating you like a person—not just a client—Insight Services is the place to go! Highly recommended!

I am absolutely shocked that therapists are able to drop their clients I have seen people digress due to irresponsible therapists at Insight. Specifically dropping clients via text, and unwilling to listen to issues or… barriers that they have encountered related to attendance. Aren’t therapists there to help clients navigate these difficulties rather than reject them and abandon them? It is very sad to see clients work so hard to change and better their lives, just to be treated like trash. I work in the medical field and I have never seen such unethical and negligent behavior by a therapist. I just ask anyone reading this to ask themselves if they would appreciate being treated this way by a professional. Hopefully this will be investigated so this doesn’t affect anyone else who is attempting to address their mental health. I hope that In the future no one refers clients to Insight, and I also hope that this therapist does not remain there, because it would be a detriment to anyone else seeking help and guidance with their mental health. This will be reported in a more formal way, but I hope this reaches people before they make the mistake of using Insight.

*edit* to be clear, at the very least, this is client abandonment, a reportable offense.*edit* I did one on one therapy for a year with therapist Sarah Parker- she was awful. Her approach to CBT was closer to… gaslighting and a repeat of the verbal abuse I’m trying to heal from. She bullied me into a medication I wasn’t ready to be on- flat out told me she thinks people with BPD are too difficult and she refuses to treat them (a diagnosis I don’t have) and then dumped me because she thought I “just didn’t want to get better”. This was after I had put in hours of home work each week trying to meet her various unclear demands. I would fill out CBT sheets, and she would make eye contact while throwing them in the trash, saying they were useless because I didn’t fill out one box. (A box she hadn’t explained to me) Amongst other various abuses. She very clearly believed she was morally and intellectually superior to me, did not care about my well being, she didn’t acknowledge our incompatibility, didn’t set me up with or recommend another therapist- just dumped me and told me it was my fault. My conclusion from my further study and therapy, is that despite her many claims of being trained in various traumas and ptsd- she shows a disappointing lack of knowledge on how really any mental illness works at all, as well as an astounding lack of compassion. She treated me as if anyone with a mental illness was inferior to her. One of the things in her bio on the website is that she’s “passionate about judgement free therapy.” This could not be farther from the truth. I now believe that a lot of the traits that she was deliberately punishing in me could actually be autism. For example- I have a known anxiety around travel. Instead of empowering and helping me to find coping skills to get me through an upcoming flight, she said “if you’re so scared of travel why’d you book the flight?” and tried to convince me to not go. Her first impulse was to tell me to give up? Even though the whole point of CBT (supposedly) is to learn coping skills. Her approach is abusive and does not make sense. I would not recommend her to anyone who has experienced narcissistic abuse, ptsd, or autism. Or anyone who wants to feel empowered to live life in a healthier way! The whole experience was invalidating, infantilizing, and honestly set me back on my journey. Again, her name is Sarah Parker.

have gone to three therapists now for different services, all amazing. I am a therapist and teach therapists and I would be proud If all turned out as well. I have brought my dog with no issue, and nobody has ever - in… years of therapy- helped me as much as neurofeedback with Mark helped me. They are amazing. An agency that has a wide span of payment options, services, and people. Where I come home you pay a lot for this kind of treatment. I am so grateful.

Terrible communication. I would not feel good about going here if you're on any sort of court order. They seem to want to force as many appointments and requirements as possible, assumedly to be able to bill insurance… more. They are dragging things that should take one or 2 appointments into 5+. Nothing else makes sense as to why they would choose to operate this way. If you need them to sign off on your treatment for probation or CPS you should expect they'll keep you there as long as possible with no consideration for your life or needs with the added bonus of their lack of respect.
