Love Dr Isherwood, Laura and each person there!! It’s hard finding a Dr or place in general for help when there is so many who have no bed side manner. They truly are a gift and doing the work of God. It’s very rare to… find someone you can be totally transparent with , without feeling judged. Or waiting for the “shoe to drop”. Thank you to each person at Apple gate for the love, support and just being an extra ear to listen. You truly are changing the world one day at a time. ♥️🙏🏼 they also take Medicaid
Amazing Dr Isherwood is the best ..
I used to go here finally got back i wish they would put me back with Dr isherwood. He's a great doctor who listens. But im struggling with Bad anxiety and panic attacks and I've been telling the doctor I have now but… she's putting me on medication that has not worked I've tried to explain that but no one is listening.
Dr. Isherwood has been the best and these people have bent over backwards for me. I thank God for all of the individuals that are working there and have worked there. Please realize they are putting their professional… careers on the line when they issue these medications.
Do not get prescribed Bupenorphine!! Take it from someone who was once addicted to opiates and been on subs for 10 years. Long term side effects, cost, and they are almost impossible to get off of. I hate them.
These people are amazing!!!! Receptionist, doctor Isherwood, they have been a God send , I truly couldn't function without their compassion!! I broke my back offshore 8 years ago, and I have severe pain , and severe… anxiety!! I thank God for these genuine, down to earth folks !!! I love you guys!!! ❤️❣️❣️
I've been a greatful patient of Applegate for approx. 8 years now and I can honestly say that they saved my life. They gave me back a freedom I had forgotten existed . The freedom of sobriety. The freedom to live life… as I should rather than spending every second hunting the next high. To Applegate and their staff I am truly greatful.
I am amending my review due to consistently better service. They switched me to a different Dr and she has been amazing. Over the last few months they have If you get assigned to Paige as your provider my advice is to… ask for someone else. She not only was very rude and condescending from the very beginning but she also lied to me… stating that there is a new “law” that they have to try patients on the suboxone strips before prescribing subutex…. I called my last provider and she assured me that wasn’t true… I knew it was a lie when she said it but when I told her that those strips don’t work for me and I would really rather just stay with the medication that I have been taking for 5 years…. She said “well I’m not losing my license over you”. She also basically called me a bad parent for giving my child CHILDREN melatonin and told me that it messes up the circadian rhythm… which is not a medical fact. She prescribed me TRAZODONE... Yeah I’m sure trazodone (an antidepressant) is so much healthier for you than a naturally produced hormone. To have a health care provider lie to my face and treat me like I’m stupid then to push her own unsubstantiated opinions on me like she is some actual doctor just shows a level of narcissism that I’m not comfortable with my health care provider possessing. If you decide to go to applegate just make sure you don’t let them stick you with Paige. She is not a pleasant person. I called the main office this morning and am having them switch my provider to someone else. Everyone else was amazing. Laura who is one of the program directors was very sweet and so was the lady at the front desk.
I've been coming to the Bossier city location for almost 5 years now and I've got nothing but good things to say! All around everyone working there are amazing. Dr Isherwood is great and front desk (shout out to ms… Amelia) are always willing to work with me when I call and have to reschedule due to life or me forgetting 😂 I am glad to have found this clinic and couldn't see going anywhere else! 🥰
Applegate makes it really easy every time, love my physician dr Isherwood and the of scheduling and having my prescriptions filled
Awesome DR and Staff. Very helpful and professional business. 5 Star ⭐ ✨
I have had a very pleasant experience with each and every staff member in the clinic I am thankful to have come across this Clinic being a patient at Applegate has changed my life in the best way possible
If u wanna trade one drug for a worse one with long term withdrawals,u found it!! If u want off opiates get the subcade shoot.
The entire staff is really helpful and genuinely want to get u the help u deserve. Brandy is the the most colorful of the bunch, and has only helped me.....especially when I was at my lowest......
I've been going to Applegate recovery for 4 1/2 years & I love the whole team there. From my devoted and caring doctor Dr. Fredrick Heard who is one of the top Psychiatrist at Oshners LSU and who truly believes in what… he is doing and there's no doubt that the medications and counseling are saving lives like mine. But also, the counselors are always there for you if life hits you with something hard because as an addict, we would normally deal with hardships by numbing them with drugs so they will not hesitate to call you in for one on one counseling to help you through it. Aare responsible for a lot but are always willing and ready to do my PA or call my meds into another pharmacy because the pharmacy your prescription originally went to is out of your medication. Dr. Heard was very understanding of my allergic reaction to the Suboxone and put my on the Subutex instead with no issues and he's always straight forward with me about everything including the fact that the FDA is trying to get rid of Subutex all together and that you have the right as a patient to ask the pharmacy for any particular brand of the medication that you want bc they're providing you with a service that you or your insurance is paying for and I love that about him. Yes Applegate can be expensive but it is worth it bc they will do anything and everything to help make sure you are able to get your medications and your Prior Authorizations for your insurance. I ❤ this clinic
I have been going here for about a year now and I have been treated very badly by multiple staff members and counselors/ and even the supervisors. I have a full time job, go to school, and come to the clinic every day… but no matter what I always feel like I’m being judged the moment I walk in the doors. When I checked in today one of the supervisors was there and she made a very rude comment to me making me feel very uncomfortable and upset. Also since the virus if there is a long line outside the clinic they will send out a list 20 minutes before 1:30 (closing time) and if you are not on that list you will not dose or be let into the clinic .so maybe they should change the hours to 1:10 and not 1:30 because they stop taking patients at 1:10. They will just tell you to come earlier next time. Like it’s our fault there’s a long line , that’s they’re fault they’re short on staff at the dosing windows .also I had a male counselor, Charles who treated me very badly. I had to switch counselors because I felt very uncomfortable with him. I just don’t feel very comfortable inside the clinic and I feel like I’m being judged for my addiction when they’re suppose to be supporting me and helping me in my recovery and not dragging me down.
The owner is very cordial and i appreciate his concern i wish i could speak with the clinic director but he refused to even speak with me
I'm coming to San Francisco for the weekend and was just wondering if this is a good place to guest dose? I would appreciate it if I could find this out .
Half the times I come here to get my treatment it's not so bad, but today there was a guest nurse working the window (1 of 3). Baart market had a staff of at least 4 nurses but as of today they have all quit. Line was… painfully slow. All this is worth mentioning just two shed light on the fact that a company that has an entire staff quit is not treating their employees right.
Been here 7 months had 2 counselors both I would give about 4.8 of 5 stars which is about A- still very good and nice. The front desk is very friendly and helpful. Nursing and Doctor also speedy efficient but detalied… and knowledgeable. Front desk staff gets 4.8 of 5 or A- Doctor and nursing needs to take 10 extra minutes so they miss nothing! They get 4.4 of 5 stars or B+.....still way above avg for the Bay area and ten times better than Turk St or Ward 93 at General Hosp.
