Logan Regional Hospital – Logan Reviews and Ratings
Personal accounts of Logan Regional Hospital sit in this section. Patterns across several reviews, such as repeated comments about communication or waiting times, are a better guide than any single account.
Went to the ER with severe chest pain and shortness of breath. They dismissed me, diagnosing it as a cold and psychological. When I got a second opinion I was diagnosed with bronchitis. This was not the first time I’ve… been treated poorly in the ER. I have chronic illness and my entire life I’ve been ignored, dismissed, and gaslit by doctors at IHC.
Very disappointed in how the billing department runs things. I applied for financial assistance and waited over 7 months for a response. Every couple weeks they wouod ask for different information and I would comply and… give it to them. Finally I received a notice that the bill would go to collections if I did not pay it within 31 days. I told the billing department they needed to let mw know if i would receive help before that time. They said they would ensure j had an answer before then. They did not. It got to the day before and I had to just pay the bill. They stalled so they would not have to respond. I would have accepted it if they would have just said I did not qualify for help. But instead they just stalled for 7 months and tried to let it go to collections. I talked to over 15 representatives, and made of 15 calls to this department. Each representative told me something different and contradictory. One person said I would not go to collections if I was waiting to hear a response on financial assistance. This was a lie. Another person said that we qualified and did not owe anything. This was a lie. We did owe money and he mistakenly said the bill was covered. This is just a few of the contradictions we were told.
I received quality care here and would recommend to others. Waited in office long time
I love the kindness and the efficiency of these guys! This is definitely the best hospital in Logan for big situations!
Second worst delivery experience first was Brigham city. Discharge nurse for our newborn was letting the baby choke on vomit and when I tried to help she strong armed me and got in my face. Then called the cops to stand… there like I was the problem.
very unprofessional people at the er, took my 10 month old 2 days ago and i ended up taking him away from them and taking him to the actual hospital he was born at (cache valley hospital) i had a bad experience at logan… regional as well when i was pregnant with my son, ( long story short i went in for an iv and the nurse couldn’t find my vain and i told him i felt like fainting because of how much pressure he was putting in my vain and he just kinda smirked and didn’t believe me till i actually fainted) & that’s when i started going to cache valley hospital. so if yall are looking for better health care and people who actually listen and care go to cache valley hospital u wont regret it🥰
What a nasty employees or receptionist they have. I don’t know if that’s the way Intermountain handle there patients or they have a none caring people, horrible experience. Please go somewhere else.
Very pleasant experience from start to finish. the nurses were very attentive and knowledgeable. Krystal was extremely kind and caring. Dr Garg is wonderful.
I know everyone's case is different. But my wife went to ER for a severe stomach pain in 3AM. They took care of her quickly, did all the necessary test and trying to find the root problem. After 4 hours she was… immediately admitted to the hospital and a surgery was done after around 7 hours. She was back at home same day evening. Both doctors and nurses was very kind and attentive. I was thoroughly informed of every part of the process and made sure we understood. I don't have a single bad thing to say.
My experience with Dr. Garg and is staff was wonderful. I went into the procedure with some apprehension but the attending nurse and Dr. Garg put me at ease and explained the results of the procedure and next steps in… my care which provided me with pease of mind. I would recommend Dr. Garg and his staff if you need his services.
The entry process was a bit messy. They called my name but a different person beat me there and they took him back without checking - then came up 5 minutes later and had to swap my paperwork because theyd taken his… information on my paperwork. Then the gal that took me in asked if I was ready for my colonoscopy (I was there for an endoscopy!). I will say the nurses were fantastic, as was Dr. Garg. They made me feel safe and knew what they were doing.
Such attentive and thoughtful care from everyone that helped with my procedure!
It was so fast and so organized and everyone was so nice!
Efficient, informative,friendly
I just want to tell Dr.Vickrum Garg and his staff and nurses and the anistisiogist how much I love and appreciate their professionalism and knowledge and kindness and care! Every time I go in for a procedure are I’m… called And feel safe knowing they know their profession and skills and are so thoughtful and kind! And the procedures are quick and pretty much pain free! Thank you so much! It’s so very much appreciated! God bless you all and may you gave many more years of service to many! And have great success!!! Sincerely! Cheryl Ann Anderson!💕
All the people that we dealt with Logan Intermountain Health Hospital seamed to that really cared like, the receptionist knew that I was hurting and moved me to get a better time. Dr.Bassett reading my ex-rays and… calling me in to tell me that he is going to help me feel better! Then my pre-op nurse Kristen help me and my wife helping us feel at ease and comfortable! They and others helped us.
Check in process was smooth and quick. All staff were professional and knowledgeable. Facility is clean, directions were clearly given, which is helpful with all the changes.
Dr. Vikram Garg’s office provided clear, concise instructions for the preparation for my colonoscopy. They also provided clear descriptions of what to expect before, during, and after my procedure. Contact numbers were… given in case of complications during recovery. I also received a followup the next morning after my colonoscopy asking about my recovery status. I want to thank Dr. Garg and his excellent staff for their professionalism as well as friendly manner. I highly recommend Dr. Garg and his staff for any gastrointestinal issues.
