Groups Recover Together – Beckley

Seems everytime I call my counselor she's either not in the office or says cnt help me an gives me a number to call that no1 answers or calls me back!!! So now it's 1or2 members that talk nonstop about something that… has absolutely nothing 2do with recovery an the counselor just talks right with them so for the 1st 45min is just her an 2 members talking then she has2 hurry up an get check in done so she hurrys calls ur name an rushes threw so she can b done in time I tell ya I know there's alota other members who would like2talk but we never have time because are counselor just focuses on 2members an there topics of absolutely nothing 2do with recovery honestly I think are counselor would b better in a chat room on tictok then a counselor!!!!!! It's truly sad!!!!!

With my experience with Groups Recover Together it's been really good as far as getting my prescription on the day it's supposed to be called in and I have never had any problems with the dosage they will work with you… anyway possible to change between the pill or the films or the dosage or whatever you may need.and you don't even have to leave the comfort of your own home to do your groups see the doctor or anything.so having to travel to a doctor office every week and then a group as well it's made to be easy going for you.I enjoy my group of an hour once a week and I love my counselor she is great with helping out with anything you may need and she is super at what she does you just couldn't ask for a better way or place to get help with your recovery and medication.i would strongly suggest Groups Recover Together to anyone out there who is struggling with addiction or in recovery already and having to travel for Doctors appointments and groups.

No one in this program communicates with each other. I’ve had to call the main operator 2-3 times because my provider didn’t send in my prescription. That being said, that’s the only downfall in my experience. I wish… they would take into account that I’ve been in recovery for over 9 years. They don’t care. You still have to submit a urine sample every week and attend meetings or you won’t get your medicine. I don’t see the point in me having to attend weekly at all. I have 9 years clean and sober. The counselors are great, though. They go above and beyond the call of duty.

They are always so willing to help with my schedule and Nicole my counselor from the (304) is awesome. She's became our family! My group family is like my reg family. I look forward to seeing them. Id recommend groups… recover to anyone. They've allowed me to rebuild my life.

Groups is the real deal real ppl with the same problems ..only ppl that made it with knowledge and it's like a big family that you look forward to attending..it's not war stories and your going to get the help u need… ..they take there jobs serious cause they really care ..the ppl that attend meetings can give u tools to use and are a great saftey net..100% trustworthy, caring,no book meeting or thing can keep u sober when u live at rock bottom long enough you change and start doing the next right thing..if u fail do better tommorow and if u stay sober everything falls in place and groups will help u get there
