About Seneca Health Services – Summersville

Seneca Health Services operates from 180 Wellness Drive in Summersville. The site sits in Nicholas County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include Fayetteville. The practical catchment runs wider than the city limits, taking in people who travel in rather than finding care on their doorstep.

Intensive outpatient and outpatient care are delivered here, alongside medication-assisted treatment, telehealth appointments and care for co-occurring mental health conditions. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves.

Treatment Services at Seneca Health Services

Intensive outpatient and outpatient care run to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Buprenorphine and naltrexone are available and paired with counseling rather than prescribed alone. Co-occurring mental health conditions are treated in the same building rather than split across providers. Assessment decides the level of care, so ask what that involves and how quickly it can happen.

Our youngest daughter was having anxiety issues surrounding school and pulling her hair/eyelashes/eyebrows out as a result. Lynzee Bostic was assigned as her therapist and within 7 months she has graduated from therapy… and hasn't had any instances of any hair pulling or concerning behaviors. She learned so much in the way of coping skills that will help her for the rest of her life. She made my daughter feel safe and comfortable and I could tell her passion for helping children is immense. I highly recommend her for therapy and cannot thank her and Seneca enough.

Lynzie Bostic has been such a big help with everything, no matter how big or small I feel the issue is. She takes everything I say into consideration and actually helps me! I’ve had a few therapists before her that I’ve… had bad experiences with so coming into therapy again I was uneasy. But I can honestly say she’s one of THE best therapists I’ve ever had. 10/10 would recommend.

This place is absolutely amazing and you can tell when you walk through the doors that they are caring and compassionate. My therapist is Lynzee and she is truly an amazing person if anyone is struggling with mental… health and needing somewhere to go I highly recommend this place

Outreach specialist Sarah Treadwell is not listening to individuals when it comes to sending someone to rehab and the problems the individuals had in the past that rehab centers and not understanding the fact that… individuals are being sexually assaulted in male quarters in rehab centers and trying to put individuals back in the same vicinity this is wrong!!

I’ve been in therapy on and off for 10 years and I’m not joking when I say my mental health has BLOSSOMED, since transferring to Seneca. I recommend Lynzee Bostic for therapy. My favorite thing about seeing her, is her… ability to connect Values and Virtues to what I specifically need to heal.

The entire team here has been incredibly polite, making me feel truly welcomed and comfortable. Amy Thomas, the therapist I am working with, is fantastic – she genuinely listens and cares. I'm so glad I found this place!

I have been attending Seneca for months. Thankfully I am still around because of my progress at Seneca. The staff takes time to recognize you and your specific issues. The mobile crisis response is of top notch. I can… always access help when I need them.... They care. Thank you Amy. Awesome

This place is so bad that it honestly bothers me that I have to even give them one star by default. No professionalism, no semblance of compassion. If you’re in a bind and actually need help, do not allow this group to… waste your time and resources. I left this place in worse condition than when I arrived. Rachel, the “professional” I had the misfortune of seeing, cancelled my prescription before I could even pick it up and didn’t even discuss my lab results with me at the follow-up. Absolutely awful experience dealing with these people.

This is the worst place for therapy. They do nothing for the clients. They are not professional. Don't go there!

The girl who answers the phone after hours needs a lesson on how to talk to people needing information. If you're working with the public, especially people who are seeking help, you need to learn to be polite to people… & not give a rude "uh-huh".
