About Union Mission Recovery – Charleston

Union Mission Recovery operates from 700 South Park Road in Charleston. The site sits in Kanawha County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include Coal Fork, Danville and Dupont City. Distance matters here, and the nearest option is not always the one that fits.

Residential treatment, intensive outpatient and outpatient care are delivered here, alongside telehealth appointments and care for co-occurring mental health conditions. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves.

Treatment Services at Union Mission Recovery

Residential treatment, intensive outpatient and outpatient care run to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Residential runs long-term, which suits people who have tried shorter stays without them holding. Trauma-specific services run alongside, which matters where the two are tangled together. Co-occurring mental health conditions are treated in the same building rather than split across providers.

Union Mission Recovery Address, Location and Contact Information

The address is 700 South Park Road, Charleston, WV 25304, in Kanawha County. The catchment reaches Coal Fork, Danville and Dupont City. Confirm what a program covers before traveling in, since the level of care listed is not always the level with capacity.

Telehealth appointments cover some contact where travel is difficult, which removes part of the journey for people further out. Ask what a first appointment involves and how long the current wait runs before making the trip. Waiting times vary with capacity, so call ahead rather than arriving unannounced.

For them to be a church organization the woman who answers the phone is rude and wants you to beg to get food

What the lady said under my review I can’t ever shop here because it closes before I leave work, and not open on the weekends I’ve found some cute stuff here before

Union mission helps me out with food from time to time. They usually have people come once a month. When I lost my home and all of my belongings last winter in a fire, they are the only nonprofit organization that… helped me through that loss and beyond.

I love the store but it’s only open when everybody is working. It needs to stay open a little later or maybe open on Saturday so people that work Monday-Friday can shop too.

It’s nice offer as used clothes, shoes, furniture as item stuff store and very low price. If you call office and they won’t answer phone. They must require Appointment at office. Union Mission office is strictly and… sometime mock. It’s sad !
