This is the worst mental health facility the front staff does nothing but laugh at you and talk about you, you are supposed to feel safe in a mental health facility and the nurses feel they are better than you when all… the nurses have bad mental health and are taking medication themselves. I always felt Karina specifically laughed at me didn't feel supportive she just wanted to know my life to feel better about herself. Christine told me I was too severe and extensive for this clinic. I was with the coordinator just today getting transferred out of there and she didn't even tell me at the last appointment. So no I don't want to see her at a last appointment in two weeks. She didn't care about me I don't care about her either. Yeah I'm so severe because I clean my apartment and cook for myself I don't need help in the bathroom and I'm driving my car right now. I am very independent since 19 Christine just gave up on me and passed me on. But it's okay I will never be returning to this clinic. And don't get me started on Oceanside mhs that's a whole another review on its own. This is a terrible place.
Dr.Christine provide very good treatment, including teamwork staff.
Just writing this since it’s been two years since someone actually wrote something on here. Just going to say that they psychiatrist is super lovely here as well as the therapist they’re willing to help you in all of… your needs as long as your honest with them then you’ll for sure help yourself in the long run the front desk is also very understanding now.
Attended a group.
Really enjoy this place, dealing with the stuff is great especially when you are someone new and feeling rather out of place so uncomfortable they are very quick to make you feel at home and prioritize your situation,… at least enough to where you feel more than acknowledged and taking care of.. they are very genuine and showing that they care and the results always seem to reflect that as well. This place and many of its staff have contributed in a little big part of several important factors which have been nothing short of Essentials in my daily routine, in my recovery. Help to which the quality of my life today, would simply not be possible without! I sincerely look forward to continuing to work with MHS, but most importantly, with THIS; "Escondido" location/office, and the team that holds it together (previously was with Santee office, which also provides top-tier care and case management), as I continue to advance forward with my new life, and whatever it has in-store for me. Thanks MHS! ~Respectfully, C. D. Vega
Great local resource! Our officials responsible for there funding need to allocate more of our local tax dollars to them for upgrades and modernization! Our local police department and PERT team are referring our local… friends and neighbors here daily! The help they provide to the growing homelessness and mental health decline of our community and beyond is immeasurable!
Great staff
Thank you Staff and Will for the warm welcoming and the support I am now getting from you all. Sometimes in life we go through things we don’t understand mentally and this place made me feel that is okay and I am not… alone ❤️🩹
Front desk is really nice and friendly and really tries to help. However, the psychiatrist is a bit cold and never really bothers to get to know you or help. She just asks the same questions at each appointment and… never really goes beyond it. This is just for medicine establishment and refill. Not for any actual help. Waited 6 months for a counseling appointment, got an appointment, they had an emergency and had to close the office down. The counselor said he would schedule an appointment with me the next day or the following Monday but never called me back to do so. Even though I left multiple follow-up messages. Wasn't angry and didn't complain BUT when I had a paperwork emergency and tried to explain what the paperwork was, why I needed it and where it was from and who needed it. I was told by the psychiatrist nurse that I was being disrespectful. The social workers are way overworked with way too many clients and can barely help people even though they want to. Corin mental health shelter is managed by Interfaith - the Shelter manager is a bully. It's well known she's a bully by people at interfaith and mental health services. It was confirmed by my social worker that she's a bully to her as well.... Told multiple people have left the shelter because of her and nothing is ever done. This place is a last resort. If you can go anywhere else it's definitely better that you do. If you have no other options....,,🤷♀️
It seems like they just laughed at us
Very nice kind people
In my own experience they have good service for my son , they're are always trying to help him in all his needs.
I am a client and they took care of me in my lowest lows, and I never felt like a burden
Amazing. Everyone was great, especially my doctor, Dr. Ellis. This was a very positive experience. Thank you so much.
Mental health is nothing I've ever concerned myself with coming through the door they made it real comfortable and got me to think about things I wouldn't normally. I suggest if your mental health means anything to you… give these guys a ring.
I have been going to this facility for 6 years and it is the worst place I’ve ever gone in my 20 something years of going to see psychiatrist. I stick around because of my insurance. I practically see a new dr every… time I go in there and they don’t even know what’s in my chart. Don’t get me started on the front staff! They are so rude it’s disgusting. Right now I’ve been waiting for a nurse to return my phone call for 2 weeks!!!!! If you can help it stay far far away!!!!!!
this place rocks. Great help. Lisa and the front staff are great. Public servants.
