Words simply cannot explain the gratitude I have for Capo Canyon. I had relapsed, and only days before my admission, I had discovered this place, and I couldn’t be more happy about that. Once I found out their approach… included dual diagnosis and treatment, in addition to holistic therapies, I was sold. The other perks included having a private room, cell phone use, a gym, and a chef. This place did not disappoint, to say the least. The one-on-one therapy sessions were the best I’ve ever experienced, and the group sessions were fulfilling and above satisfactory. I left there with a solid foundation. Most profound for me, was I was able to tap into a place that I was holding onto shame and guilt. I was able to acknowledge it, accept it, and begin the healing journey. This pain is still there, but I can handle it in a healthy way now. My anxiety is lower than ever and manageable, and I go through my day with ease and confidence. I have been to other treatment facilities before, was tired of my continuous relapses, and needed a place to help me begin a life of sobriety. Capo’s guidance, structure, amazing staff all-around, and environment, helped me in a way I never imagined. I went through a couple of profound, deep and positive shifts during my time there. Very unexpected, but not surprised. I received guidance with finding an IOP for after my discharge. That’s how much they care about you at Capo. Cap’s staff are there to truly help you. It shows. I would highly recommend Capo to anyone struggling with addiction and mental health, who are open to discovering the root problem and/or underlying issue.

From the moment I walked through the doors at Capo Canyon, I knew I was in a place that truly cared about my recovery. The staff went above and beyond every single day to make me feel supported, respected, and never… judged. They genuinely want to see you succeed, and that made all the difference in my experience. I especially want to recognize Marsalee. Her kindness, compassion, and encouragement had a huge impact on my recovery. She has an incredible way of making people feel heard and valued, and her support meant more to me than words can express. She is truly one of the reasons my time at Capo Canyon was so meaningful. Recovery isn’t easy, but Capo Canyon gave me the tools, guidance, and confidence to begin building a better life. I’m leaving as a stronger, healthier person because of the amazing people there. Capo canyon has changed my life. When I first arrived, I was struggling and unsure of what my future would look like. From day one, I was met with compassion, understanding, and genuine care from the entire staff. They… created a safe and supportive environment where I could focus on healing and rebuilding my life. The counselors, therapists, and support staff truly went above and beyond. They believed in me even when I struggled to believe in myself. Through their guidance, encouragement, and dedication, I gained valuable tools, confidence, and hope for the future. What makes this treatment center so special is that they treat people with dignity and respect. I never felt judged. Instead, I felt supported every step of the way by people who genuinely cared about my success and well-being. I am incredibly grateful for everything I learned and for the relationships I built during my time there. The positive changes I have made in my life are a direct result of the care and support I received at this program. Thank you for helping me find my strength, my purpose, and a new beginning. this was the best rehab i’ve ever been to (out of many) the staff -nurses, admin, group leaders were amazing and the therapists were incredible. i got a lot of therapy even in the smaller group sessions and was able to… really dive in and work on my mental health - they offer emdr which was life changing. very nice facility and great food. i would recommend this place to anyone and if i need to go back this is where i would go 100%. i cant reiterate how great of a rehab is enough. there is one on one help available at all times and he environment is very supportive. it’s the perfect blend of therapy, getting used to a healthy lifestyle again, eastern and western approaches to healing and the schedule is flexible to fit ur needs.

For as long as I can remember I had struggled with addiction. But after over a decade of my life being chaotic and out of control, I surrendered and realized it was time to get help. And that’s when I found capo! I… spoke with Sean the director of admissions and knew this was the right place for me to get my life back. The entire staff is incredible. They make you feel welcome and comfortable. Although I recently found out Gino is no longer the chef, that man will forever be my favorite thing about capo! He was truly one of a kind. Special shout out to Marsalee and Aster for giving me the guidance I was ready to finally take in. There are sooooo many amazing things that make this rehab unique from others. For one you can tell they actually care about you. They listen to you. The level of care here is phenomenal. Capo Canyon is an amazing and unique place. As others have mentioned they really do treat you as an individual. On top of that all the groups and panels they have really open up your mind. The environment is really… conductive to self reflection. The program is well structured and the individual therapy is world class. Everyone that works there is wonderful. I miss Capo Canyon. I initially was very hesitant to get into treatment but by the end of the program I was sad to be leaving.

This was my first time in rehab, and had I known the experience would be like this, I would have come long ago! Capo Canyon is extraordinary -- every single staff member, from the therapists, to the nurses, to the… private chef, is just completely amazing. Most of the staff are in recovery themselves so they can relate. There is no judgment at all, just pure healing in the most beautiful, peaceful setting. The small number of clients (max 5) is a huge benefit -- everyone gets really personalized service and treatment. Each client has a private room, and they don't take your devices away. I needed to work quite a bit while I was in rehab and I was able to make every conference call and respond to every email without missing a step. In fact, being able to work while in rehab was the primary reason why I chose Capo, and I find that very helpful. It would be quite jarring, stressful, and anxiety-inducing to leave rehab and be thrown back into a high stress job and a backlog of emails! It was very helpful to be able to navigate challenging work situations in a healing and supportive environment. I hope I never have to return to rehab again, but if I do, it would only be Capo!

Hello, my name is Dominic Ranada and my experience at Capo and Casa recovery changed my life for the better. I learned more about myself after realizing that healing and recovery is possible with the help of recovery… communities. The nursing staff, therapists, the chef, my case manager, the counselors, instructors, and the participants were all very accommodating, helpful, kind, empathetic, and understanding about my situation during my stay there. My stay in Capo was very insightful, engaging, and fulfilling. We focused on health and well-being by doing yoga, meditation, exercises, and eating healthy. Healthy snacks are always available around for snacking when you get hungry such as apples, oranges, water and tea (to name a few). The gym is always available in capo, and the backyard patio gives a feeling of calm, tranquility, and peace. I always read books by the patio during evenings when I was there. There's also a guitar and a keyboard if you’d like to inspire people with your musical talents. In the morning we do our process groups, art therapy, and group discussions outside the patio. You can feel the cool breeze on your face, hear the birds singing and the fluttering of butterfly wings when you meditate there. Staying there also gives you the option of getting massages that help your body release any pain and tension; very relaxing. I also took advantage of all the reading materials they have there regarding recovery communities such as refuge, smart, and AA. To me it’s not just all about self-inquiry and self-discovery, but equally important are making connections and community building. When I was there we went to different meetings and we met different people with different experiences and phases in their journey to recovery and growth. Their stories of resiliency, dedication, and strength are very inspiring. They allow me to feel that I can go through the recovery process as well and be healed despite the challenges I face in my life; the community will always be there for me and they welcome me with open arms. I was in Capo for 30 days and decided that I would like to continue and get more out of my stay with the program. I did my PHP and IOP in Casa to continue my progress and to make sure that I get all the help I needed for my recovery. I learned a lot of modalities, coping skills, techniques, adaptive strategies and other therapeutic strategies to help me maintain my sobriety so that I remain healthy and fit mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I remained for another two months in Casa and I don’t regret it because staying there gave me the extra time to consider my relationship with alcohol and how I will go forward dealing with it. I was able to structure my relapse plan, lapse and relapse plan, and alternative substitutes in case triggers and cravings hit. Journaling about my triggers and cravings have been helpful in monitoring my challenges, progress, and growth, and also journaling about my emotions, objectives, and having a gratitude list allows me to process my feelings and be able to store important information and significant levels of progress in my long term memory for reference. Basically, my mindset and thinking patterns changed overtime after being a participant at Capo and Casa recovery. I am now currently having the time of my life enjoying every minute and every second of it in a very mindful way. My health and well-being improved on a high scale and the quality of my life increased significantly. I am more active and engaging, my mind is sharp, and I no longer feel the consequences and unhealthy effects of alcohol consumption. Moreover, opportunities are just beginning to present themselves on my path to success thanks to everyone there who helped and guided me in every way possible, and who are still continuing to do so. That is why I give Capo and Casa staff 5 stars plus for their dedication and hard work for helping people like me find ourselves again and be able to heal and recover.

The Staff is top notch at Capo Canyon. They care about the patients and their main goal is to help you become a better person. I recommend it to anyone who wants to improve their life. The program and people at Capo Canyon absolutely saved me. When I entered, I was absolutely afraid for how I was going to continue with my life and although I am still learning how to do this, I was given tools and… support there that gives me hope that I will be OK in the long run. The entire staff showed such compassion and didn’t judge me when I felt like that was all I deserved. I am forever grateful for my time there.

Capo Canyon was able to accomplish a nearly impossible feat: opening the eyes of an addict (me) to sufficiently comprehend the root causes of my issues, and actionably re-wire how I process the compulsion, as well as… just how I view life in general. That’s remarkable, considering my old thought processes were (at least in part) put in place by my addict mind to justify continued use. How did Capo do this? With a facility so comfortable (warm, engaging, capable nursing staff, often surprisingly excellent food, top-tier holistic facilitators, quality furnishings and amenities, etc.) that the opportunity for dissatisfaction distraction was absent, allowing my focus to be centered on the excellent therapy and philosophical guidance provided by clinicians who made vulnerability and enlightenment approachable, positive new experiences, and the camaraderie and insight afforded by the other clients. That last point is a key and differentiating one: the people with whom we go through this journey are incredibly important to its success, and it was clear to me that Capo did a great job screening for perceptive and respectful clients who were there for the right reasons and committed to changing their lives for the better. I can’t say enough about how impactful the experience at Capo has been on my life, and I’m eternally grateful for the treatment they provided.

Capo Canyon is a great place to go for treatment and I would highly recommend this place. The house is extremely inviting and well kept. It has spacious rooms and plenty of communal areas. The programming there is very… diverse and they incorporate lots of different topics to address your needs. Plenty of group and individual therapy and holistic approaches too. What makes Capo Canyon so great though, is the staff. They are very caring, compassionate, understanding, and extremely knowledgeable. You’re in great hands at Capo Canyon!

Capo Canyon is by far the best treatment program I have ever attended and I would enthusiastically encourage anyone I know seeking treatment to pick Capo. Not only is the facility exceptional, cozy, and ripe with… amenities, the staff (therapists, nurses, chefs, and case managers) is world class and incredibly supportive. Coming to CCR was a life changing experience. The staff are all incredibly passionate and knowledgeable. Seeing GiGi when I first arrived was a blessing as she has such an incredibly kind and compassionate way of… nursing. The facilities are top notch, the food and chefs Gino and Veronica are amazing. Would highly recommend to anyone who is serious about wanting to get through the difficult challenge of trying to get clean. Copa Canyon Rehab is the best in Orange County without a doubt!

I was referred to this residential facility by a good friend in the industry. They are some of the best and most authentic providers in Orange County and possibly some of the best in the nation. Everything from gourmet… style meals twice daily by Geno & Miss Veronica, to all my Nurses including Holly, Andrea, Jessica, Izzy, Jeanie & my personal bestie Jackie!! They also have some of the most experienced counselors and Big Book experts; Sandy and Linda (aka: the Guru) and last but not least Mrs. Marsalle, Astor, & Alysha who damaged controlled my various personal crises. My Experience at Capo Canyon recovery was one I won’t forget. The staff, people, and facility overly met my expectations of what a rehab facility would be and look like. I enjoyed everything from group work to the food… and the living arrangements provided. The team at Capo Canyon was incredible! I can honestly say this place saved my life. I thought I had exhausted all of my options. They provided great care in a comfortable environment. I was able to keep my job while… also focusing on myself and digging into the root of my issues. The counseling is unmatched and the staff was a joy. I had been in treatment one time before and was honestly dreading it. I wished I had gone months sooner! At no point was I eager to leave. They provided excellent couples counseling and allowed me to talk to my kids. Can’t speak highly enough!
