I started my sobriety journey in June 2025. I attended Hazelden, Betty Ford Rancho Mirage, And Michael’s House in Palm Springs. Nothing bad to say about any of those facilities, but after several attempts to stay sober,… I needed a place that could cater to my mental health needs. Casa recovery has been an absolute GAME changer for me! Upon intake I was greated by the best clinical team I have worked with to this day. I am 5 months sober and counting. I work with my case manager to create a treatment plan that included holistic Healing, Process groups, programmatic groups that challenged my thinking, EMDR therapy, weekly therapy, emotional decision making, and gave me an opportunity to truly focus on my well being. Sean, Miriam, Jeanne, Lauren, Cat and many others are part of the amazing clinical team that I interacted with on a daily basis. Nothing but the most consummate professionals I have had the pleasure of working with. The men’s sober living house on Morena Drive Has been an Incredible home for me. There So much fellowship in the program and that transcend outside of normal business hours. The cohort likes to meet up at the beach, have pool parties, go out and do activities in the community and that made such a lasting impression on me. I would like to wholeheartedly recommend Casa Recovery to anyone seeking a unique, comfortable, game changing program that is fully supportive of your recovery and mental health journey. If you or anyone you know are seeking the best level of inpatient or outpatient care, please give Casa Recovery a call today to begin the next chapter of your well being. -Marcus Singleton Casa Alumni

I can’t say enough good things about this outpatient program. From day one, I felt welcomed and understood—not judged. The counselors and staff go above and beyond, and they truly care about each individual’s journey.… They helped me not only with my substance abuse but also with my mental health, giving me tools I actually use in real life. This place gave me hope when I needed it most, and I’m incredibly grateful.

My name is Alexa P. and I have been a patient at casa for 5 months. The best things about this program were the breathwork with Sandy, and some of the staff members. The breath work was the most helpful thing for me.… This review is about the house mangers and mangers at this program which caused me a lot of distress. However, the owner Sean, director of operations Dom, and house manger Kat were all mean and rude toward me for no good reason, which started from them not caring at me as a patient and caring about other patients more. I felt they could have offered me a better housing option but decided to stick me with the house manager Kat to watch me 24/7 which was unfair and cruel due to me being vulnerable at the time. Dom would watch me outside of the bathroom in a weird intimidating way. I felt mistreated. I also felt taken advantage of in a lot of ways. Kat was mean to me but very nice to my friend and favored her and let her do what she wanted but made me get in trouble for the same thing. Then one time when I burped she started speaking for me and saying “excuse you,” to shame me. Really unprofessional. I showed up daily without fail for 5 months and worked hard.Toward the end, even though I did all of that, they forced me to leave because I broke a rule by burning incense when other girls in the house did the same thing, including smoking and reeking of cigarette smoke. I was abused by another housemate at the Morena house and they took her side and made me leave, giving me no notice. Kat and Dom treated me like trash telling my house manager to leave my things on the street and leave me there and to not be too nice to me upon dropping me off and Kat said if the girl didn’t do it soon enough she would come come there and do it, knowing I didn’t like being around her which I also found abusive and crazy. I was homeless that night and on the street for the first time in my life which was distressing and traumatic. I am very upset, shocked and appalled with how this program treated me and do not recommend it. I feel they are just about the money and chose the new girl over me who found a problem with me anither housemate, they could have moved her to their other property but decided to just throw me out. I’m so angry at the way I was taken advantage of in the system. Kat and Dom put me in a distressing situation by leaving me outside on the street to be homeless for 2 days with ALL OF MY BELONGINGS when the staff at casa knew about my financial situation, and familial situation with my family who I have been reliant on. I deserved more respect. I felt Kat’s actions were hateful to encourage someone to do that to me. It was petty and cruel. My best advise is: do not get yourself in this system. It’s hard to get out of. They were wrong about the situation between the other patient and I who was the aggressive one with me. They just were looking for any reason for me to leave so she could be more at peace. That’s why when the staff called me in for a meeting they said I was “viewing the situation from a lense of trauma” and gaslighted my reality. If they had a good solid sense of who people are they’d know this woman was in the wrong…I am now at a much better place. There are much better places out there where I can be myself and not be gaslighted or treated like a prisoner followed around the parking lot. Glad i got out of there and my therapist siding against me for no reason. I have found a much better treatment center. I regret coming here at all. They don’t know much about psychology and are pretty much winging it. They pretty much sided with my abuser for money and told him I have anger issues and that my argument with another girl “almost got aggressive” when she came at me. You can’t “almost” and be so prejudice. That’s not even true! Karma always takes care of things.

Choosing Casa Recovery was truly the best decision I have ever made. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed, supported, and genuinely cared for. The staff go above and beyond in every possible way — their… compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail are unmatched. They truly see each client as an individual and tailor their approach to meet your unique needs. The level of care here is exceptional. Every therapist, case manager, and support team member works together to create an environment that feels safe, encouraging, and filled with hope. The program is thoughtfully structured, balancing therapy, education, and holistic wellness in a way that promotes real, lasting change. What stood out most to me was the sense of community — not just from the staff, but from the other clients as well. Everyone is on their own journey, yet the support and understanding that flow through this place make healing feel possible and real. Casa Recovery doesn’t just help you get better — they help you rediscover yourself. I am deeply grateful for my time here and for the people who made such a positive impact on my life. If you’re considering treatment, look no further. Casa Recovery is a place of true healing, and it changed my life for the better.

Casa Recovery saved my life. When I arrived, I was lost, scared, and had no idea what my purpose in life was. From the very beginning, the staff made me feel safe, supported, and truly understood. Casa gave me a… nurturing environment where I could begin to heal and learn how to take care of myself in ways I never had before. The therapists are exceptional. They are, without a doubt, the best I’ve ever had the opportunity to work with. Their compassion, insight, and dedication helped me face parts of myself I had been avoiding for years. With their guidance, I was able to grow, reflect, and start building a new life. I also lived in Casa’s housing for a few months, and that experience was just as impactful. The home environment was safe, clean, and peaceful which was exactly what I needed to feel grounded while doing such important work on myself. It gave me stability, routine, and a place to feel secure during a really vulnerable time. My case manager was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout my stay. Anytime I had a need, question, or concern, she provided me with resources and support right away. I always felt like I had someone in my corner, making sure I had everything I needed to succeed. Another thing that stood out to me was how involved I was in decisions regarding my care. When it came to medication or any changes in my treatment plan, I was always part of the conversation. I felt respected, heard, and empowered throughout the entire process. Most of all, I truly believe you can feel how much the staff cares about you. Their kindness and dedication are genuine, and that made all the difference for me. By the time I completed my treatment, I had a strong sense of who I am and a completely new perspective on life. I left Casa Recovery with hope, purpose, and confidence in my future. I am forever grateful for the time I spent there, and I truly believe it saved my life.

I was admitted to Casa's IOP and PHP programs 2 years ago. I can't even express how much Casa improved my life. First, I went to their rehabilitation facility, Capo Canyon. That's a separate review, but it was a… beautiful experience. Afterwards, I attended Casa's PHP and IOP programs. Wow! They really know how to change someone's life! This was the best therapy I've ever received. I had a few therapists at Casa, but my last therapist completely understood me and knew exactly how to help me. I have trouble socializing, and the socialization I practiced there has helped me integrate back into regular society after being a loner for years. Though I still have problems with socialization, I was even able to work as a sales associate while I was there, and it has since propelled my career in fashion. Immediately after leaving Casa, I even started a fashion business that has been keeping me afloat since! I've been struggling with rules since I was a child, but while I was at Casa, I made sure to follow every single rule they gave me. These rules have kept me in line since. The house manager knew how to run things! It was tough, but it worked. My entire life changed. I also struggled with exercise. Because of the mental help I was getting, I was able to go on walks around beautiful San Juan Capistrano for an hour each day, and I've never exercised that much in my life. I was able to reach a level of health that I've never experienced before, and this continued after I left Casa. I wanted to shout out their massage therapy sessions. Massage therapy truly calms me down; this inclusion within their program truly propels them to greatness. I am a stronger, more experienced, calmer, better woman since I have attended Casa Recovery. I dropped my bad habits because of them. Group therapy has taught me how to speak about my problems in a kind, respectful way. They also taught me socialization skills that I still remind myself of years later. I greatly appreciate Casa Recovery for all they have done for my mental well-being and career. They are my first choice if I ever need more mental health help.

Casa recovery was a miracle for me during a very difficult time in my life. I went to residential with another treatment center and had a horrible experience. That’s how I found casa! The entire staff deeply cares for… everyone and my care team was incredible. I felt validated, understood and supported the whole way through while still being able to exist and deal with the real world too. If you’re looking for a php or IOP I would highly recommend casa. I’ve heard their residential is amazing too. I stayed in their housing while in treatment and it was such a safe space both at the home and at the center offices. My therapists Brynn and Jeremy were incredible and so knowledgeable. I loved the group topics and learned a lot. I also appreciated that they held a lot of holistic groups too for whole person care. Medication management was also very helpful and ran smoothly. Thank you to the entire casa staff! I gained so much and made so many friends with my peers there. It was such a beautiful experience all around! That’s not to say it was without its issues but they handled concerns with grace, compassion and support.

Casa Recovery truly focuses on the whole problem, and therapists help you to dig deep and work hard to address your feelings and problems. I absolutely love every staff member with whom I worked, and in fact, I am still… missing them after being gone for almost a week. I was there for 4 weeks, some stay longer but I was not able to do so. The housing that is provided is beautiful, conveniently located and single rooms are available. I met the most amazing friends in the program, and know that many of those friendships continue for years to come. I was also able to do family sessions with with daughters which I found very helpful. My case worker helped me find all the resources I needed to continue a lower level of care after my discharge. Thank you, Lauran, Brynn, Jeannie, Alea, Kim, Lynda,Eric ,Sandy, John, Courtney( sorry about the snoring), Tiffany, Aster, Karin, Marsalee, Heidi, Amanda, Kat, Andrew(truly the best massage ever!)Sean, and even you Jeremy 😆! Casa is amazing and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for mental health or addiction treatment!! I had spent time at 2 residential centers before going to Casa for PHP, both of which weren't nearly as good… as Casa. Sean was a life saver when I was looking for a residential treatment facility. Even though my insurance didn't cover their residential program at Capo, he was able to provide me with other recommendations. When I was discharged from residential I was able to move into their PHP program. All of the staff there genuinely care about you and they show it. They go above and beyond to help you whenever they can. They are a fun group of people that make the whole experience enjoyable. It literally feels like a family when you are there and you really grow a true bond with them. I will forever be grateful for all they have done for me and my family during my difficult time in my life. Kim, Brynn and Jeremy are amazing counselors that will spend extra time chatting with you when you need it. They have great insight and you can truly trust that they have your best interests at heart. The Casa Managers, Art therapy instructor and even the nurse and Psychiatrist are a jot to work with. Marsalee and Sean will even answer texts during off hours during emergencies. You always feel like you have their support. All of the leaders of groups; even for Yoga, Breathworks and Meditation are caring, sweet and a joy to be around. All of the clientele that I met while there have become great friends that I will continue to keep in touch with. The houses and apartments are great facilities with amazing house Managers! Heidi is the Bomb and I wish that she would be my Grandma, she is caring but also hilarious and I miss being at the Morena house with all the ladies. It was like summer camp, we would watch movies, cook together and swim in the pool. Do not go anywhere else because I dont think that it can get better than this.

I showed up in a state where I didn't really know where I wanted to be or go in life and I was able to find solace in the fact that I had to commit to a process and I was with the right people and in the right program- I was not prepared for all the things I was exposed to for so many people battle different issues but that is what has allowed me to find a renewed sense of self esteem and purpose in my life! I will always be thankful for the team! Sean for onboarding me and answering every question I had before my journey as scared as I was, Lauran for the intake and assuring I was there everyday, Sara for helping me navigate my case, Jeremy is the simply the best therapist I have ever worked with and am so blessed to have as a part in my life (all the therapists for that matter- KIM, ASTER) and finally Dom and Kat the house managers who have to put up with us most the time but make sure you are taking care of yourself at all times. This place is truly life changing.

I’m so sorry to have to write this after leaving such a great review and having such a great experience at Capo Canyon their residential recovery home. I entered the IOP program after doing a 30 day residential and… followed all instructions and graduated the program as a model student. As happens often with most people in recovery I relapsed and when i called them back for help they were unwilling to accept me back and work with me on reasonable terms. I feel the case manager I got stuck with, Astor is immature and the organazation was too inexperienced to handle a mature executive level client with SUD. Marsalle needs to stick to doing Residential not IOP and PHP. I definitely felt betrayed and did not get the help from this organization when I needed it the most. At this point I am very disappointed in the way they treated me as a past successful client. Clinical team can learn from Admin, Sean & Tiffany get an extra star for effort, thank you for the folllow up.

My experience with Casa was beyond expectation. Everything from the Staff to the Programs to the Residential accommodations were outstanding in so many ways. I was there for high anxiety and depression, and their… clinical programs gave me the tools to overcome the problems.

I’m grateful I continued from Capo Canyon to Casa Recovery. I naively thought 1 month of inpatient treatment would be enough to “heal” me. The continuity of care I received at Casa allowed me to reintegrate into the… world while still being in the safe and supportive healing environment of the recovery community that I had come to trust and respect. So thankful for all of the staff Casa that was there during my journey!

Casa Recovery is a very special place! I can’t say enough positive things about the staff, the philosophy, the level of care, and the overall experience my son had there. The communication and service was always… professional, but personal. Definitely not a corporate feel. My son was fortunate to have a wonderfully caring team. Although I think highly of all the therapists and specialists he worked with, Jeremy is one of the most genuinely caring and authentic humans my son has worked with. They have an effective method for treating mental health needs and the co-occurring condition(s) your loved one may be experiencing to deal with it. I would recommend Casa to anyone without reservation! It’s life changing.

This program is amazing with all of the aftercare they provide as well as all the care they provide to your loved one when they enter treatment. This was a life changer for not only our child but for our family. We… can’t thank Casa enough. The staff is phenomenal, the opportunities to help clients is top of the line, and the ongoing family support after discharge is something most treatment centers don’t offer. Thank you Becca and Candy for all the support!
