Cool for some things but my god don't try to be in a hurry or anything when trying to talk to them! Have any real issues my god! Weeks to get in even when worried about something. Why even have DRs of they are never… there? People cant answer the phone!

Recent visit, I was treated to a traffic jam and was late. As I was pulling into the parking lot my phone rang and I didn't answer. The provider cancelled the appointment. With the fires in the North, I could barely… breathe. After walking quite a bit I got inside and tried to get to my appointment only to find out, rudely by the information kiosk person, that I was in the wrong building. I said that I was going home and that the hospital really sucks as I left. I called the appointment and was told that it was cancelled and I would have to reschedule. I live 85 miles from Saginaw and can't rely on a vehicle. This is far from the first time too. From over bearing doctors and staff to self-entitled nurses and other personnel. I won't return to the Saginaw hospital for anything again.

Since I have made the VA my primary medical provider, have had nothing but positive encounters, responding, and excellent medical care from these fine medical establishment. Will choose no other. Thank you VA and all… the staff for meeting all my medical needs.

I give the Saginaw VA 4 stars due to the fact that they have a HORRIBLE unprofessional disrespectful and untrained call center. I’ve had sooooooo many problems with their call center that I’ve been using community care… as much as possible to avoid dealing with Aleda E. Lutz. Other than that, I have the purple team taking care of me and they’re on it and squared away.

Here’s a tip if you’re struggling with anything you have a better chance at taking whatever money you have and going to the casino and winning big to help with your issues than you would trying to get any help from the… VA here or in Michigan in general.

I was going to sit here and provide nothing but insults about this place but that really doesn't change anything. So I will say this. For a place that is supposed to help and support veterans how is it with all these… "resources" in which I have called with no actual help. You might think I was asking for a heart transplant or something that would be hard to help with. No no no my pipes froze 3 weeks ago I have been having to pay for water and pay for water so we can do dishes still eat...you know basic human need "water". So how do I get an absolute run around and still knowbody at this hospital can provide me with anywhere to get a basic human need, but y'all are there to help🤔. Maybe we are forgetting the point now a days.

Local VA (Saginaw County, MI VA system) healthcare services and staff went from 2-3 stars when i first got here to 5 stars in 2024+ pre-sweeping administration change so hopefully they don't mess up the trajectory it… seems like it was on and leave the staff alone.

It took many years to finally be convinced the VA was better- tons of improvement; however, a visit to the Urgent Care left me extremely disappointed and frustrated. The Doctor was quick to discuss his level of… intelligence versus anything else. I was told “more Motrin” that’s a joke….1st of all, I’m full of Motrin after many deployments. I also had to purchase my own medication from a local store, because the doctor decided to educate me how medication works, but never prescribed anything. I just wanted some help easing the old combat injury pain I was having, I was at least hoping for an X-ray. I’ll just go to a normal hospital.

I have had people I know who I haven't seen me in a while, look at me as if they were thinking, "Who are you and what did you do with Melinda." I didn't know I had changed at all. It was so gradual. But I gotta tell… you, I still love my past doctor. She is kind and caring. Thank you for your help, but times are changing. And I will be okay.

My husband was unable to answer when radiology called and he has spent the past 2 days trying to contact them back over 30 minutes yesterday on the phone no answer and today still on the phone 52 minutes today they mark… down in the file no answer which counts against them and yet nobody documents the amount of times they. Don't answer maybe try answering thee phone I know it's not lunch time yet and someo6is always at the desk so this place is the worst va I've ever had to deal with even the director dose nothing he will listen then do nothing to help the vets such a sad thing to see

The Saginaw VA has been my provider of choice for over 30 years. The people are great and sometimes go out of their way to make my day a little brighter, in spite of my illness or physical condition. Keep up the good… work!

How do you like to be told at 4:55 I'm not getting paid anymore I can't talk to you! Even though his shift did not end until 5:00 p.m. Absolutely disgusting! Horrible care. Administrator starting rumors they're going to… be laid off so that they can fire up some sort of political revolt. Some sort of protest! Absolutely disgusting
