Allendale Treatment – Auburn Detox and Rehab Services
Allendale Treatment – Auburn is recorded as offering residential treatment, partial hospitalization and sober living. Structured outpatient runs to a schedule while people return home in the evening. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.
Co-occurring mental health conditions are addressed alongside substance use, which is the approach the evidence supports. Supported housing is recorded for people continuing treatment after a more intensive stage. Ask what a typical week involves before committing, since the schedule determines whether the program is workable alongside work or family.

Great place great people
The staff and team are the greatest. They saved my life.
Allendale is a good place
My wife arranged for my rehab stay. We live in suburbs of Chicago and they are in or near Auburn Indiana. This was my 4th inpatient rehab which qualifies me as a good source for a review and the fact that I've stayed… straight and sober for over a year since leaving. I wont go into all the reasons but a couple things stand out. The staff ,food and being able to go outside and sit around a mechanical fire pit and talk, smoke or just relax were very important to me and also food was always available including a wide variety of ice-cream products. There are many other things that the other rehabs did not have and may seem trivial but they made them the best of the rehabs in my travels. They also literally picked me up and took me home.
Allendale was really accommodating to my circumstances & needs at the treatment program. The staff genuinely show care and effort towards helping people out & getting them on the right track. Great facility w healthy… activities during the duration of my stay. Highly recommended
Amazing place, highly recommended.
My son has been in here a week for no reason because he refused a med at an er in auburn the second day I came in to see him he was laying in filth I had to change his sheets and blanket there was food all over the… floor all over the desk and they're still holding him for no reason on a 48 hour hold a week later his family wants him home not that that matters
Allendale has put a new foundation under my feet. I’ve never been more motivated for sobriety. Each and every employee are well educated and caring. I highly recommend this place for anyone wanting help with addiction
This was my first treatment experience, so I really wasn’t sure what to expect coming in. Thankfully, I’ve had nothing but a positive experience here. All of the staff are super friendly and helpful, they provided… engaging groups and activities. They never made me feel “trapped”. As stated, this was my first treatment center, but from the comments and previous experience of my peers, there’s no place like Allendale. Thank you for providing me with the tools and resources to continue my sober journey.
Very knowledgeable and experienced staff members. Very satisfied with my stay
This is an amazing treatment center. The staff is wonderful and the facility is very nice. I received excellent care.
This has been an excellent experience. I am more optimistic now that I have ever been in my entire life. The staff was great. The food was great. The atmosphere was great. The nurses got me on the meds and explained to… me, the meds, what they did and how they worked and how they were going to work in the future, the staff was able to get my short-term disability from my work. They actually was able to enroll me into an aftercare program, which I'm headed to, and it's just been an all around life-changing experience, and I'm grateful and really appreciative.
Great facilities, amazing staff and I would recommend this place to anyone who needs help
Being at Allendale was one of the best and empowering experiences in my life. Not only did their care help me get sober, but also helped me find myself.
Been there about 3 times inpatient and everytime just keeps getting worse as does the food, staff, the way they treat us wrong at our most desperate vulnerable moments even though their jobs are to have compassion and… some sort of understanding for what we're going through. But instead of letting the patients speak in groups it's mostly the councilor talking about her life. Not to mention I've had family drop off 100$'s of items, essentials, that i never received or was i ever compensated for.
Allendale was a nightmare. I was left to detox off opiates & benzos with nothing for 4 days. This can be life threatening. There is no separate detox place either, and there are 3 people to a room. The nurses are… unqualified & showed zero compassion. No one's asking anyone to feel sorry for them, but shouldn't you like your job at least a little? The nurses looked up patients on social media and printed things from their pages. This is highly illegal. The food is gas station quality, full of preservatives and chemicals. They give you free cigarettes. How can anyone truly detox with garbage food and cigarettes? A patient jumped out a window one night & the staff failed to circulate for over 3 hrs, so the patient got away. Staff tried to blame the patient's roommates. They wave ketamine treatments in everyone's faces, and use ketamine as a bribe to make people go to pointlessly redundant groups and take medications-even though every patient has the right to refuse a medication. Several grievances were filed during my stay there from multiple patients. The "coordinator" was a very snotty young girl, who did everything she could to make every interaction as uncomfortable as possible. She ended up being fired for reasons I do not know. Every time something happened, more privileges were taken from the patients, even though if the staff were truly as dedicated as they are supposed to be, these incidences (people escaping, people having sex, etc) wouldn't have happened. Unsafe environment. Would never recommend.
After the few first days I was able to meet my peers and felt welcomed. The staff was absolutely incredible and I was impressed by the cleanliness
For a first timer choosing the treatment center path for recovery Allendale was a god send and an excellent choice. The Staff ALL know what they are doing and truly provide a level of care that is unmatched. The peers… the staff and the center itself made me feel safe and heard. I had been begging for help with my addiction for so long and my family found Allendale. Coming here was truly the best decision I have made in recent years and I will forever be grateful. To those reading this good luck on your recovery journey, keep coming back and if you have the opportunity choose Allendale. They really do care.
Allendale is the best treatment center I've ever been to hands down
Been here a few times. Care Team goes above and beyond.
I thought at first this was a very good facility which the inpatient part is the outpatient people that work with you are a joke they check into nothing. They assume they think they know and they do not. I would… recommend the inpatient part but once you get done with that leave, they’ll try and talk you out of it. They’ll go against your word For the money. I was not impressed with several of the employees that I had to deal with in the aftercare program.
