YWCA Northeast Indiana – Fort Wayne Detox and Rehab Services

YWCA Northeast Indiana – Fort Wayne appears on the register for residential treatment and intensive outpatient. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. The right level of care is a clinical judgement rather than a preference, and an assessment should produce a defined answer.

Combined treatment is not recorded, which is worth checking before committing. Approved medication is paired with counseling and regular review. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

I’m in connection with the YWCA in my state/ city. NEVER have I EVER heard someone be so NON-understanding! Not me calling to help a friend and give her some advice before she calls since she scared and doesn’t know how… this works and the lady catching an attitude with me. Obviously my friend will have to call in. I was asking questions for answers that she was asking.

I dont like how if there's no waiting list why you have to consistently do the intake over the phone if nothing is available. Ive done repetitive for a week & weekend, for no bed is available. So, you do all that… repetitively for nothing basically. It should be needed or required only if a bed is available, because they dont save the info. In that case info should be kept if we have to do it over & over again.

Alright, I was a client there since December 19th, up until 3 days ago of March. So my case manager, he called the probation Officer Monday and says I'm being no compliant with the program and not going to my classes… which was reminded everyone through the audience. I got there December 19th.That means holidays for The staff get to go home early With the family as they deserve to it us addiction proto sit upstairs with no homework or nothing.I think it penalized for a while. You know where class was done in a certain time period which is crazy?Because before I got to the right

For anyone that comes across this and is thinking about going here, I'm praying for you and you will make it. I stayed here in 2019 coming from Atlanta. I’m back in Georgia now. Looking back, this place made me who I am… today. Yes the food sucked and all the women from the addictions side ate everything before our kids could eat, but everything has its pros and cons. They had music classes and children’s classes weekly. I rode on my first bus out there. lol. I made so many friends going through the same thing I was going through.(some I’m still in contact with) One of my roommates snuck in pizza one night in her backpack since we weren’t allowed to bring in outside food and we had the best time..we felt normal again. To all my past roommates, if you ever see this, I think about you often. And I want to thank the lady that runs the beautiful boutique that helps women with interview clothes. Take advantage of this!! She was amazing and made me feel so beautiful. I was interviewing at an elderly law firm at the time and was asked to come for a second interview. She gave me the most beautiful pant suits, purses and jewelry. I hope she’s doing well. Lastly, take advantage of all the assistance you can get in Indiana. Within 3 days, I had food stamps, medicaid and WIC. Also they paid for my daycare in full with a CAPS debit card. I don’t qualify for any of these things in Georgia. They say I make too much.

They failed to help a single mother in need. I will never donate or refer to them again. This establishment is a waste of time, money and resources.

Was escaping a domestic violence situation and was treated absolutely terribly by residents and staff on numerous occasions. Wasn’t allowed out for the night on Xmas eve to see my friend, and had been threatened by… someone and had a man break in. Not safe and the food is not only repetitive but they barely cater to people’s dietary needs such as mushroom allergies and dairy allergies. When asked if the food had mushrooms I was told “I don’t know gotta figure it out i guess” I’d rather not go into anaphylactic shock but thanks. It felt like being on the streets was better than being here on multiple occasions
