I’ve had an excellent experience with Dessert Rose Community Partners. I was searching for a provider who would help me medicate my ADHD and some other problems. My call was answered right away, and I was offered a same… day appointment for intake. I was unable to accept that appointment but they got me in a week later. After my intake appointment it was only a one week wait to see their psychiatrist Pam. Pam is a very kind and understanding woman who took my concerns seriously and prescribed me the medication I requested. Desert Rose shares a lobby with Genova Pharmacy and through Genova Pharmacy I was able to walk away with my medication the same day. Yes, there is a wait list to get Therapy with them but that is expected no matter where you call for therapy services. And on top of all the great services they offer, they accept AHCCCS health care. A wonderful company.
I came to Community Partners a year and a half ago. When I arrived, I had so many issues that I can't even put myself in that frame of mind anymore. I can't even remember having that thought process! However, my… therapist, Kiko, has helped me through SO MUCH! I can't imagine what my life would've turned out like if I hadn't come here for help. This place makes me feel truly cared for. Dee and Jan, who work at the front desks of these offices, are incredibly kind and accommodating, Pam does everything to ensure I receive a balanced medical treatment, Dawn has helped me through multiple crisises as my case manager, and Kiko has listened to me while helping me sort out my thoughts every step of the way! This place does wonders!
Straight garbage, unless you have Premium Insurance (Blue Cross, Blue Shield) you don’t actually get any service. If your on Access your really screwed
Said they were taking new patients. Had my intake appointment. Then was told I need to wait 4-6 months to receive services. Receptionist rarely answers phone for appointments. Rarely calls right back. Sometimes waits… till next day. Ridiculous.
So far I haven't gotten any help honestly. They've taken me off medication and has done Nothing to do to help me while. They don't care if it's medical or not they suck. I even switched me PCP thinking it would be… better than El Rio. Well I guess I chose the wrong choice. I've been out of medications and they haven't even sent scripts over. It's been weeks.
I've had a few case workers disappear and pass the baton, and the lady managing my psychiatric meds is a bit curt, but getting in to see someone has been consistently successful and prompt.
Do NOT come here for psychiatrists if you're over the age of 18. Only the pediatric psychiatrists care and help. If you're an adult you will be mocked and triggered even more. j finally reached out for help but wish I… never went. i never felt so much despair. they don't care or listen. they roll their eyes at you and dismiss you like you're a pain for just showing up. They are disrespectful and i keep crying at work today because i feel so much despair.. save yourself the further agony and invalidation. they act like my anxiety disorder is my choice. I am done having hope that i can live a real life. there is only one way to feel better..
They never answer the phone, you leave messages, they never check them same day, so if you have to cancel an appointment hours in advance, it doesn't matter because you'll never get through and if you leave a message,… they wont get it and then they accuse you of missing your appointment when you notified them hours in advance. NP calls me just now 15 minutes exactly before they close, saying I missed my appointment I cancelled, tells me to call her back asap, so I call her right back and no one answers, the phone just rings forever and ever... she did it intentionally so I cannot contact anyone... it's 4:55 PM and still... no answer.. called back to back.. it just rings... I'm going to a new clinic, way to much patient abuse and my Dr. Laughed in my face about my mental health concerns. This is a horrible place. Very unprofessional.
I give this clinic four stars because they respect your privacy, they don't look down on you,and come of as genuinely nice people.
